Beginning of week 13 was harvest time! Checking the trichomes on their main buds led to the decision to harvest them. Almost all of them had already milky looking heads and some of them even turned amber. Their incredibly sour smell was barely tolerable as well. Made the decision to harvest them all at once, so the grow room can be turned into a drying room for them. Since this is considered an experiment after all, we wanted to try out wet trimming as well to compare it to the dry trim we're used to. So considering #3 had the least amount of effort due to the low amount of head buds overall, we choose that one to be wet trimmed. It surely was a very sticky and still time-consuming activity, but we're pretty happy with the result. Can't wait to see and taste them when they're finally ready, dried properly and cured a bit! This is plant #2. She still remained my absolute favorite one of them, having the biggest and most beautiful looking main buds. Would've expected a bigger stretch at the start of flowering though, so her branches were still growing pretty close to each other, which isn't that bad but also wasn't really the desired look overall. Plant #2 is one of the dry trim ones. Just made sure to remove the biggest leaves that could prevent a good airflow between the buds when they're hung up.

I still have problems with high levels of humidity, usually around 65% during the night and 55% during the day, I ended up removing more leaves to try to reduce the amount of humidity in the air. I can see that the buds grew since last week, I was expecting the buds to be a bit bigger this week, but I'm happy with the current size, but I'm happy with the amount of trichomes present. I'm now on vacation for 2 weeks so all photos will be from my security camera. From what I can tell my new clones are greening up and putting out some new growth. My blumats had a runaway on day 3... luckily my neighbor was around and was able to slow the drip rate down on my one plant which was starting to flood my box. It has now stopped dripping and my hope is there will be no more hiccups..I will be watching closely over my vacation. 😅🙏

Started doing some light defoliation a bit each day on the very low level offshoots and any big leafs blocking main bud sights. Looking back I should have done a bit more earlier on as these are very heavy and leafy plants. At the start of the week my light was at 55%, on 13 Nov I put it to 100% to see how they react. I will monitor to see if they are ready for it but they really took off this last week. My one plant in the back left always appears droopy compared to the others because the leafs on it are so big it weighs down the whole plant. The plant in the back right was always janky and I considered not even growing it. The seed came through a few days later than the rest and I almost wrote it off. Figured I would use it as an experiment and try and learn from it instead.

Diese Woche wurde kein Dünger mehr hinzugefügt sondern mit angepassten Wasser auf 6 ph und 60 Liter gespült. Lieber etwas früher spülen als dann später nicht alles raus zu bekommen. Kann es echt nur jedem empfehlen so ca 2 Wochen vor der Ernte mindestens 2 mal zu spülen. Später beim rauchen null kratzen im Hals.

La fase de engorde sigue viento en popa y una fragancia dulce inunda cuarto de cultivo junto con unos atractivos colores. Día 70, Día del último Riego con fertilizantes y desde ahora serán 15 días solo con agua y enzimas para obtener un resultado más limpio.

Plant is progressing well. Gave it a second topping this week and transplanted it into a five gallon pot. Added clips to the bottom branches and did some defoliation on these branches.

Erntezeit! Getrocknet wurde 9 Tage bei ~55% Luftfeuchtigkeit und 20 grad. Trocken getrimmt. Alle Popcorn nugs und Verschnitt zu Hash weiterverarbeitet.

OG KUSH-Day 49 The plant is now at the end of its seventh week, it has progressed well, except that it was stressed for 2 days because there was a strong storm and it tilted the plant, so I added another stake, straightened it and tied it up. 5 nights ago there was a strong storm, the morning after the storm when I came to the site, I found some plants crooked, some normal, but there were no broken ones, thank God, but they were very stressed and what you can see in the pictures appeared on the leaves, some leaves were crispy at the edges, but still green, mostly shoots before the newest ones. I haven't had this problem before, I researched a bit on the internet and came to the conclusion that the wind burned them, and I also turned to GW for an opinion, two characters confirmed my opinion. Two days later I noticed that the matter was getting worse and that it was spreading, which worried me, so I contacted GW again for an opinion. Some told me that it was mold, some that it was an infection, disease and so on, mostly guesswork, but no one specifically told me what was certain, so I decided on nim oil, and whatever it is, I guess the problem should be solved. According to some leaves, I would say that insects might be the problem, but I really don't know, I haven't had similar problems before. I regulate the ph of the plants, I still don't feed them, there is food in the ground for another week, except for the fact that I added cal-mag after that storm when I watered them. I want to say that the plants are certainly not locked, and the heat is not yet so high that this would happen from the same, the more the temperatures have dropped and now it is perfect. Since transplanting, I have watered the plants only 2 times. Yesterday morning they were topped for the second time, only the main branches, I will do the next topping of the side branches. Last night I sprayed the plants with neem oil and already today the problem seems to be going away, if I tripped at least it doesn't spread further, that's for sure. I didn't mix the oil very well, I didn't add any soap or anything like that because I wouldn't really spray the plants with any chemicals, and on some of the leaves on one or two plants there is that thick, brownish liquid, so I hope it won't hurt them, I noticed that today during the day, I couldn't see it at night. I still don't know what the problem is, but my guess is still that the wind burned them or some insects. Speaking of insects, I think I noticed thrips on one plant on the underside of the leaf, so in addition to the neem oil I already gave, I also ordered SMC, so I will spray that at least once a week while they are still young. 1 Strain, same breeder, same tent and conditions but 3 different agendas. Molly is just over 42”, Meredith is 30” and Marissa only 16”. I think Molly’s stretch is over and the other 2 have a ways to go. This week I defoliated all 3 again to open up the bases and thin the canopies a little. I’m no expert but I’m learning and the ladies are looking great. Added some more coco to make up for the sinking and while I’ve been trying to keep this as simple as possible just using Advanced Nutrients and CalMag, after doing lots of reading I ordered some Big Bud for Coco and will be starting that when it arrives. Haven’t run the humidifier this week at all or the dehumidifier. Just letting it stay 45-55 on its own. Figured out how to gain almost 6” in the tent without sacrificing ventilation so got Molly back under the light fully, then she grew another 6” out of spite…lol. Great week! I love opening the tent and having the humidity and smell hit me in the face.

Feb 8 Today marks the 13th week of these girls, it’s been an amazing 1st grow, would highly recommend this strain for first time growers, even the one that had some issues ended up surprising me late flower with new growth, and somehow basically caught up with the strong girl in size, but not density. I learned a lot about how these plants like to be treated, and I will definitely implement new methods to improve my cultivation! See you on harvest day!
