2018-04-10 Day 1 I gave the girls water and nutrients yesterday so nothing to drink today. Turned them 90 degrees today, to give my girls as much lightexposure as possible. The flowers get bigger and bigger for each day, Overall the ladies look really good, the colors are very nice, they look healthy. I am a little surprised over the difference in size between nr1 and nr2, nr 2 is 21 cm taller than nr 1, and the flowerproduction is awesome. Not that nr1 doesn't look great - she certainly does - but still.... Nr1 is huge, she decides how much all other girls needs to be risen to get their canopys at the same height as hers. 👊. These are clones that I managed to take from my summer garden that became a disaster due to a heat wave that we had breaking 100 year records. I expect everything to be 48” in height at maturity.

7/10 - Lowered light just an inch, plants still looked like they were stretching up a bit. Currently at 29" 7/11 - May be light stress, I'm not sure. But a spot has popped up on the older Gelato, which my wife has affectionally named Mal. Also noticing some warping in the leaves, it dosnt look terrible, definitely keeping a close eye on it. While checking out the girls this morning, found 3 or 4 gnats flying around. Killed them all, will monitor. I am allowing the soil to dry out before I water again, currently the top layer is mostly dry. 7/12 - Everything is looking great today, found 1 gnat this morning. Soil looks dry, stuck a soil moisture meter to the bottom of the cups, reads on the dry/moist line. Will probably water tomorrow. 7/13 - Plants looking good this morning, nice amount of growth overnight. Watered roughly 100ml each, slowly until water started to drip from drainage hole. I poked around the soil before watering, to try to find any gnats and i didnt see any fly up. As soon as water hit the soil, i saw about 3 fly up, tried to kill them. I am going to keep air blowing on the plants, to hopefully keep the gnats at bay. Will be getting some yellow sticky pads as well. The tent has been getting a little warm lately, in the lows 80's, up to 83. I decided to dim the light to 75%, and bring it closer. Light is currently at 75% 24". Overall I am very happy this week. 7/14 - Alright, so it has come down to pest management already. When I checked the girls out this morning, I found a lot of gnats. So I mixed in a little bit of diatomaceous earth into the top 3/4" of soil. Hopefully it doesn't cake up on me when i water next time. The original plan was to wait and ride them out to transplant, but when i saw the amount I gnats, I knew I had to do something. They did not like that at all, ill check back later tonight to see what carnage has been wrought to the gnats. Other than the gnat problem, the girls have been looking very good. I am a little concerned for Regina, she seems to be growing a little slower, and had some strange coloring in the growing fan leaves. I think she will pull through though. I saw a VPD chart that says my RH should be around 65-70% right now. So I'm shooting for that. I set up a little humidifier inside the tent. 7/15 - So it looks like the DE did the job, I poked around in the soil and couldn't find any gnats. Also I lifted the light up a little, to keep the canopy at 24". I ended up transplanting today, may be a little early, but it'l be alright. Dusted the transplant site and the root ball with great white myko. Added some more DE to the top of the pots to keep the gnats at bay. 7/16 - Nothing really going on today, the ladies are enjoying their new home, lots of growth over night. Didnt see any gnats today!

The first picture is from last week and the videos are from today. It's been 56 days in veg so far. I was going to switch to flowering next week but decided to hold off and let it spend more time in recovery. To keep the branches down I used a wire clothes hanger and paper clips.

Hey all! Finally! This is the last week of veg! :D I know Matcha still has a lot of things going on but I believe I've waited more than enough for this (10 weeks is a lot considering one of the plants is still small and the other one isn't as big as it should be). Both are also starting to drink more water compared to before! Pistachio is now getting thirstier a lot faster now! I defoliated both plants and I'll do it again in about 3 more weeks to allow the lower budsites receive more light. I believe I could've trimmed a bit more heavily but I believe what I did was enough, they have been going thru some issues and I don't want to risk it all. I also removed all the small growtips in my plants, the ones that are just going to never develop very well because they are way too low and no light will reach them well. The strain grows pretty easy. She can definitely eat a lot nutes but be careful into flowering her ph tends to swing very slightly but if not caught early can be a bit detrimental later. Grew a 5 ft plant in a 3.5 gallon res and she flourished. Good and fun photo period plant.

Week 2 for our strawberry gorilla 🦍 from the fastbuds family All looks good and the buds are forming real quick, we continue for now with master root and master bloom, next week we start to add some more addictives Some plants had a little to much nutrients but we corrected the dosis and continue with a little less bloom nutrients! For the rest all good!!

UPDATE - Saturday 13th It’s been ok. The reason I have stopped filling out the amount of water I’m giving them is because they don’t get watered daily. I water them once every three or four days depending on other things going on. With soil having a how much water per 24h is pointless because the whole point of soil is to dry out slowly and if you want a big plant you end up in a HUGE pot which takes like a week or more to dry out! The amount I water is the amount of water in the bottom of the reservoir + 1/3 more.

Всем привет! На прошлой неделе у меня начались проблемы с листьями. Было очень похоже на нехватку магния или кальция. Но внимательно проанализировав места локализации проблемы, я пришел к выводу, что это световой ожог. Во-первых, лампа была запущена на максимальную производительность. Во-вторых, страдали только верхние листья. В-третьих, проблемы были только у тех листьев, у которых не было трихом. В-четвертых, обычно страдают обе пары листьев, а в нашем случае только те, что были ближе к лампе. Пришлось убавить мощность, чтобы и листья не страдали и чтобы трихомы не испарялись зря. Как итог - прогрессирование некроза прекратилось. Но пришлось все испорченные листья удалить, чтобы проконтролировать текущее состояние и заметить проблемы в будущем. К тому же, дал больше света нижним шишкам, а само растение практически осталось таким же пушистым. Еще начали отпадать самые нижние листья, которые практически не получали света. Так как азота было предостаточно на веге, они не желтели, а больше стали серыми и сами отвалились. Полиплоидный бутон начал расти в бок. А новых ростков из устья листьев больше не появлялось. НО!!! Я сперва не замечал, а когда обрывал листья, заметил, что там где у шишек растут листья, у всех крупных из них растут такие не маленькие шишечки, из-за чего в целом шишка становится жирной и толстой. Полистал другие репорты и обнаружил, что это привычное дело для этого сорта. Интересно, что запах снизился. На веге оба фильтра работали на полную мощность, а обычной травой все равно пахло. Сейчас имеем около 20 колл, а запаха нет совсем. Либо угольные фильтры хорошо прям терпены фильтруют, но не фильтруют запах свежескошенной травы, либо действительно, из-за светового ожога испарялись трихомы и поэтому запаха убавился. По моим рассчетам нам осталось еще 4 недели, то есть ровно половина цветового периода прошли. Спасибо что заглянули.

The buds on Rucucu Cucu are getting fatter by the day! As they swell up, the aroma is becoming more intense — a strong, sweet bubblegum scent with a spicy undertone. If everything keeps going well, this is shaping up to be an excellent smoke. The plant is growing so vigorously that I had to remove some leaves to give the lower buds more light and space. The main cola has stopped stretching and is now packing on some serious weight. Meanwhile, the side branches are still competing for the spotlight and are developing some impressive flowers of their own. One lovely surprise: some beautiful purple hues are starting to show up in the bigger buds — totally unexpected, but definitely a nice bonus ✌️☘️ That’s it for now.
