Week 11. Day 35 roughly, most of these are 63-70

En un inicio se pensaba dar 4 semanas de vegeta pero por un estrés de agua en la segunda semana se tuvo q dar una semana más de vegeta. Mañana se me cambiará el ciclo a 12/12 para empezar su flora.

My Rainbow Melon plant is still one of the biggest in the tent, and it's definitely the smelliest so far. The only thing I'm not crazy about is how big the leaves are getting. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

Week 5 of flower is coming to an end. I've lowered the humidity to 50% to up the VPD to around 1.2kPa. I've also increased the intensity of my lights from 55% to 65% at the start of the week and increased it even further from 65% to 75% on Wednesday. As long as they show no curling or burnt tips, I'll continue to increase the intensity at this pace. The Dolato also developed a smell, on which I can't really put my finger. It smells like lemongrass with a touch of fruity candy. The other two plants just keep increasing their smell, to the point where I can smell it inside the tent without rubbing my fingers against the trichomes. Also, this week I've added a video to capture the whole tent.

The plants grew well this week, as did all the clones. Any extra rooted clones have been planted outdoors as a further experiment. We moved all the clones into a Veg room. Even though the large room is not in flower and still also in veg, we had to separate the plants due to lack of space. Also setting up for mother, clones and SOG in the future. The plants were defoliated and training continued. There are 2 weeks of Veg left hoping to have some very large plants for flowering. Aiming for large flowers.

When it seems to me that nothing is happening anymore, the bending and breaking branches remind me that the plants continue to gain weight, and this is not bad. General —— Surprise, Surprise. Did another week and most of them should be ready by now. Gush Mints still has a lot of white hairs and could go for another week or two but I have limited space and need to move the other plants into this tent soon. Organic stuff in the irrigation system didn’t take long to become a problem. I had to disconnect the whole dripper manifold and flush it properly — even with hydrogen peroxide, because the lines went nasty. From now on, I’m adding enzymes separately by hand. A new pump arrived too: 40W, 2500 L/h. Things started working much better right away. The drippers are pushing way stronger now. Should’ve stopped being cheap from the start. Also grabbed a new camera, so I can finally keep an eye on the tent remotely again. I still couldn’t really get the pH down where I wanted it. Some leaves are getting burnt here and there. I’m keeping the input around 5.2, but honestly it doesn’t help much. Luckily, the buds don’t seem to care too much — they’re still stacking and getting denser. Spotted a couple of fresh green nanners on #3, the one in the middle. Plucked them off right away, and so far I haven’t found any more. We’re getting close to the finish now. Autumn is starting from the lower parts, so I cut nitrogen down to around 90 ppm. Did a light cleanup as well — removed some of the burnt fan leaves and opened things up a bit. I’ve already dimmed the light down to 160W, otherwise I just can’t keep the temperature under control. Summer heat has finally arrived, so I’m basically catching the last train of decent conditions. Looks like I’ll finish just in time. #3 already looks pretty much ready, only the lowers are still filling in a little. #4 is still throwing some new pistils, but not that actively anymore. #1 and #2 look like the youngest and most active ones, but I’m not really counting them — they’ve got their own little world going on. So yeah, that’s pretty much it. Around two more weeks and then chop time.

Week 3 Plant Growth Summary: Lighting: Increased PPFD from 250 to approximately 350 µmol/m²/s midway through Week 2, aligning with recommended levels for the vegetative stage. Watering: Conducted three wet-to-dry cycles. Soil Testing: A slurry test on Day 6 indicated a pH of 6.39 and an EC of 2.9 mS/cm. Nutrient Introduction: Began adding nutrients at 50% of the manufacturer's recommended levels during the third watering on Day 6. The nutrient solution had an EC of 0.53 mS/cm and a pH adjusted to 5.2. Runoff measurements showed a pH of 6.5 and an EC of 1.97 mS/cm. Optimal pH for nutrient uptake in hydroponic systems typically ranges from 5.5 to 6.5. Plant Training: Planning to top all plants near the end of Week 4. Irrigation System: Received all Tray2Grow components. With leaves now reaching the pot edges, plan to activate the system on Day 2 when plants require watering. Overall, plants are progressing well, with environmental parameters maintained within optimal ranges.

This week or a bit more was absolutely fucked up. Heavy rain and cold strong winds every day, but it is getting better now. Plants keep growing taller, except for White Whidow, which is the only one whos flowering well at the moment.

🌿 Week 4 – Purple CousKush Auto #12 | Plant B The Quiet Strategist Begins Her Move | 8×8 Adventure Every plant has its own story, even when they share the same tent, the same light, the same feeding schedule, and the same care. That’s one of the reasons I decided to document each phenotype individually throughout this 8×8 Adventure. Every seed carries its own personality, its own pace, and its own way of expressing the genetics hidden inside. Today the spotlight belongs to Purple CousKush Auto #12 – Plant B. While a couple of her sisters are already sprinting into flower much earlier than expected, this lady is taking a slightly more measured approach. She’s clearly entering pre-flower, showing her first pistils and announcing that the transition has begun, but she’s doing it on her own schedule. There’s no rush here… just steady, confident progress. And honestly… I like that. Sometimes the plants that don’t demand attention early become some of the most rewarding later on. ⸻ 🌱 Life inside the 8×8 Adventure The room continues running under the 12/12 From Seed experiment, a method that constantly surprises me with how differently each cultivar reacts. Even under identical environmental conditions, every plant interprets that limited photoperiod in its own way. Some immediately focus on reproduction while others continue building structure before committing fully to flowering. Purple CousKush B seems to belong to the second group. She continues investing energy into producing new growth while gently stacking pre-flowers across the upper nodes. Watching these differences unfold is exactly why I enjoy documenting every individual plant instead of only reporting on the room as a whole. ⸻ 🌿 Training without forcing nature This week has mostly been about leaf tucking and a little gentle Low Stress Training. Rather than removing healthy fan leaves, I’ve simply been moving them out of the way to expose lower growth sites to the LED. It’s amazing how much additional light reaches the interior of the plant with just a few careful adjustments. LST continues following the same philosophy. No aggressive bends. No unnecessary stress. Just guiding branches into better positions so the canopy can develop naturally while allowing more future flowering sites to receive direct light. With autoflowers, timing is everything. Every day counts, so I prefer making small corrections instead of major interventions. Purple CousKush B has responded beautifully, opening her structure while continuing to push healthy new shoots from every direction. ⸻ ☀️ Summer is definitely here… The biggest challenge this week hasn’t been nutrition. It hasn’t been watering. It hasn’t been training. It’s simply been the weather. Outside temperatures continue climbing, making it surprisingly difficult to keep the grow room perfectly stable—even with the air conditioning working around the clock. Despite seeing daytime temperatures touching 33°C, humidity has remained reasonably controlled, helping prevent excessive stress while maintaining healthy transpiration. Considering the conditions, I’m genuinely happy with how all the ladies are responding. Strong stems. Healthy green foliage. Excellent turgor. No signs of heat damage beyond the normal environmental challenge that summer inevitably brings. Sometimes growing isn’t about chasing perfect numbers… It’s about adapting and helping the plants stay comfortable despite Mother Nature trying to make things interesting. ⸻ 💧 Week 4 Feeding The feeding schedule remains simple and consistent: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L Solution parameters: • EC: 1.35 mS/cm • pH: 6.1 The plants continue responding extremely well, with lush green foliage and vigorous new growth showing that the nutrition remains well balanced. ⸻ 🌸 Looking ahead With pre-flower now clearly underway, I’m expecting Purple CousKush B to begin stretching over the next week. Unlike some of her faster sisters, she’s building a slightly more open architecture before committing fully to flowering, which could translate into excellent light penetration later in bloom. Every day brings another surprise inside this tent, and that’s exactly what makes this project so enjoyable. One room. One environment. One feeding program. Yet every phenotype writes its own story. These photos are from week 1 flower to my current week 8 of flower. I came into flower with a ton of leafs with being a new first time grower I was very hesitant on stressing the plant out. In week 4 of flower I was playing around with my PH levels and found that the sweet spot was 6.3 it started to eat so much food my PPM were 1240 and it started drinking about 2-3 gals a day. I also noticed and with some help I was bleaching my top nodes a little bit my ppfd was at 1100 in some parts of the canopy so I raised the light up to 20” and dropped my ppfd to 800. In week 4 the smells started coming out and the next day I came down with covid and lost my smell... I was sad. I regained my smell and holy moly it smelled like you opened a fresh box of fruit loops with a hint of lemon I was amazed!!! And couldn’t get over it. Current week 8 the plant is smelling amazing and the buds are stacking and chunking up so nice... well at least I think I don’t really know how it should look since it’s my first grow and at this point I’m so excited to get though this grow and have success.
