Flower day 31 - Having a little trouble with the temperature getting higher than I would like because my dehumidifier puts off some heat while it’s running so it’s been a constant struggle to keep the environment in this tent stable! Definitely will not have so many plants next run lol, but all in all the ladies are growing great & I can’t wait to see how they turn out! BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. Well some information needs to be updated! But in the mean time I’ll leave this here to indicate false heights, temps and nutes are entered, basically copied from last upload. Anyways my dumbass didn’t have all my branches supported properly. So probably back on the night of 140 we had a violent wind storm. I got back on day 142 to make repairs and wash off the plants.

This week of growth was good for the Platinum OG from MSNL seeds Even tho it's still spring here in Australia , my part of the country is already experiencing days over 40 degrees celcius 😐 With a forecast of up to 42 for this friday the 1st of November 😥 So I have reduced the lighting time down to 14 hours for all of my seeedlings, to give them an extra break from any stress they get from the high temps. Other than that I continue to just give them water when they need it , Keep it simple is my way of growing . Cheers as usual for stopping by 👍v

Sorry for the late update. I harvested all plants together to dry in the tent for a slow dry. It took 8days till the stems broke/snap and everything felt dry by the touch. I cured and stored in grovebags. After 10-14days of cure, the flower were ready to smoke. Had to burp the bags, because the rh was a bit to high, but all in all unfelt very safe with the geovebags. Very happy with the result. In the end I got 240g of flower from all plants with 200watt led, so a bit over a 1g/watt. Goal for next run is to get 2g/watt. The bagseed flowers give a nice and strong high, not the greatest taste, but smokable.

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Hey everyone, hope everything is going well for you all. Plants have been doing good since the last time posted, all three are working on their flowers. One CBD is purple, other is going to be green. Got the humidifier out of there for more space which has made things a lot easier. Need to supplement some P&K for the Colorado cookies, showing a little deficiencies. Week 6 for Moby Dick, She was moved outdoors at the start of the week, shes been adjusting well besides the fact shes been having issues with aphids 😥 But shes been getting sprayed water every sun rise to keep them under control as well as me going in there & killing them when i can spot them every morning & evenings. Trying to get my hands on some pyrol products to clean her up nicely as well as clean up the outdoor space. But wow look at her size... really looking forward to her coming out with some flowers😍

Ummm... get Advanced Nutrients. The amazing difference is differently amazing. I can't say anything bad about GHE, it's just insanely better than over here on the Advanced Nutrient side of things. Noticeable differences in 3 days. If you have any questions, send me a message. I've done a ton of research on Advanced Nutrients and can basically tell you "what's what" in comparison to GHE and save you a couple bucks. Knowledge is power, friends! I'm still using my GHE Diamond Nectar in-place of Advanced Nutrients Rhino Skin until the bottle is gone. It's all humic acid, no big deal. I'll change to AN when I'm done. My buds are purple. Never in a million years would I have guessed I got purple genetics on my first grow. We'll see if they stay around! Defoliation: Only larger fan leaves to open canopy. Day 46 - 8/12: We had a huge storm that did not knock our power out, luckily. All of the girls are thriving and tomorrow I receive the remaining nutrients. They are going fucking bananas. Temps are 77s and humidity is 45-55. Perfect. Day 47 - 8/13: Holy fuck.

Her buds are growing and growing.. There are still about 4 weeks until harvest but her buds look awsome just now : I hope I can wait until she's finished, hehe She's looking beautiful at the end of week 9.

9-7-25. What can I say the Apple fritter continues to do very well have no insect damage and no major issues to mention. The plant has been completely trellis for the last time. The bud structure is really great. The branches are really large. Really happy plant is doing well. top dressed it’s last top dress with one cup each of flower, finisher, primo Hydroslate, pure kelp, dry, and soluble seaweed extract as well as Azomite. All of these are micronized and soluble powdered so the plant should uptake the nutrients much faster than traditional top dresses. Don’t have any large granules that are gonna take time to break down and water in from here on out it will be water with its last two sugar water drenches, which I will use boogie brix, and black strap molasses brixs. with all of these nutrients and amendments in place I will let the girls ride out their last few weeks with Just nice rich mountain water to ensure they use every bit of the sugar, phosphate and potassium for frosty buds with heavy resin and terp production .

In dieser Woche habe ich Hesi Coco auf 4ml/l erhöht. Dazu kam das erste mal PK13/14 mit der Minimalmenge. Die Pflanzen vertragen es gut und treiben die Buds gut aus. Morgen werden sie zum ersten mal geflusht. Vorher lasse ich Sie komplett austrocknen und habe Sie 3 Tage nicht gefüttert. Die Temperatur und RLF waren in der ganzen Woche wie gewünscht. Die Leistung der HID steht aktuell auf 550 Watt. Licht gibt es also mehr als genug. Vor 4 Tagen habe ich Sie erneut hart entlaubt, dies stecken die Ladies gut weg und bilden sehr sehr schnell neue Blätter. Das Wachstum stellt sich langsam ein und die Endhöhe ist ungefähr erreicht. Ein bisschen höher hatten sie wachsen dürfen.... nach Umstellung auf Blüte 12/12 sind die Pflanzen also 300 % gewachsen, dies ist denke ich für eine sativa normal. Die Internodien sind stellenweise weit auseinander, ich hoffe Sie wachsen zu.
