Week 9: Growth, Clones, and Preparing for Buds This week brought some important changes to the grow! The plants stretched significantly, taking advantage of the rainy weather, despite the temperature fluctuations. Overall, the conditions are supporting their development well. Notes: I made a few more clones, and so far, all of them are thriving. It's exciting to see a 100% survival rate for the clones so far. Out of the 12 plants, I identified three males. Two of them have started opening their pollen sacs, and I’ve begun collecting. The pollen is being stored in the freezer for future breeding projects. I did a light defoliation to improve light penetration to the lower branches, which should help promote even growth.

This is the beginning of each week. So I flushed them and switched nutrients. They were mag deficient, nitro toxic. Not PH actually. I'm adding co2 next week after I seal the room. I think I need to back the PAR down to 800 but they are still alive and it's over half way done. How any more weeks? I thought this was a 65 day auto. Hydro in a 5 gallon pot could add up to three weeks I heard with Autos. could these go 12 weeks total?

08/29/24. Going into week 9 flower Day 65 out of stated 70. I think this one might be about spot on. Quite a lot of milky trichomes when I checked a couple days ago. I will be checking again today. Not much else going on, other than water only now and decreased light intensity to about 55%. Gotta say that even with the fights I had with this girl in parts of veg, I’m loving how things are turning out. She’s a freaking sticky, frosty, smelly beast. Can’t wait to see what harvest brings, but don’t worry.. she won’t be rushed. Anyhow, Ill update if anything changes Update: 09/03/24. Banana is no longer with the living. She was taken last night and is hanging fully in a dark closet at 61/72 with a small fan for air movement. It’s pointed down and not blowing at her. I don’t have a way to wet weigh, I always just give dry weight so no point in doing the harvest update week yet. I will do that when she’s dry and ready to cure. She’s definitely heavy though :)

Buds getting bigger. This strain is very greasy, a lot of resin. It smells very sweet, amazing.

Broken by storm and rain

We have 2 weeks under our belt and now we're charging into week. So far each day I can see more new growth which is encouraging. With a few more nodes in the next day or so I'll look at topping. Cheers til next time -Dj Sunstone

I managed to turn the negative heat temperature in to something positive by introducing co2 to the environment. As a result of the diy co2 method some of branches grew up by 1.5 inches in 2days! Will continue to utilise co2 in the box for now. I also had to adopt the defoliation method Way to many leaves could cause problems by raising the moisture level in the box. As a result of the defoliation a lot of light is reaching the bottom of the box. Which means I can grow other small plants in the box. I switched to bloom NPK ratios. Slowly introducing the raw mix. It’s doing fine and as allways no tip burns

We’re approaching the finish line — the top buds are already nearly perfect. I’m just giving the lower ones a few more days before putting her into a 48-hour dark phase.

Great week. Switch lighting to 12-12 for flowering. 2 plants showed male and was removed. Watering every 3-4 days now. Babies thirsty.

A clone is obtained, in infancy constantly surviving the drought. Water were drunk its neighbours. What can I say - this is what you need to report to growdiaries! Of the known, only that genetics ... well, very strong! Likes moderate feeding and plenty of space for their territory-grabbing activities... Well, let's start feeding from the 3rd week of vegetative, transplanting to 25l volume, and...and folding the whole length into an "O" shaped format - something that you can see in the next week's report in the video demonstration!

Hey there, lads! 👋🌱 It's time for the final update as we enter week 10 of this LED MephistoGenetics Grow. We're on the brink of harvest, and the excitement is Real! 🌿🌸🌞 The majority of my plants are reaching their peak and will be ready for harvest very soon. However, it seems that the Pink Panama and Tooth Decay strains require a few extra weeks to reach their full potential. 🌿🌱⏳ In the meantime, I've already commenced the drying process for my other plants—the beloved Copy Cat Genetics strains & ETHOS—within the tent. In a day or two, they will be eagerly awaiting their new home in designated jars. Proper drying is crucial to preserving the amazing aromas and aromas we've worked tirelessly to cultivate. 🌿🍃🌬️ When comparing this grow to my previous one, which utilized the Lumatek HPS lights, I must say that the buds under the LED lights have truly impressed me with their vibrant colors. The canopy is now a mesmerizing display of the full rainbow, boasting pink, purple, orange, white, Reds. and some exceptionally frosty buds. It's an awe-inspiring sight! 🌈🌿❄️ Today was the last day of providing nutrients, and from now on, I'll be giving them only water with a small dose of connoisseurs to maintain a pH level of 6.33 and a TDS of 50. The long-awaited harvest should take place within a couple of days. Meanwhile, tomorrow, I'll be transferring the Copycat Genetics grow from the drying tent to the jars. We're currently on day 65 of this Mephisto Grow. I'm beyond thrilled to finally harvest these ladies, especially the ones that have been under the LED lights. So far everything good! No severe nutrient shortage nor toxicity. No disease or pests. My Mexican Ladies just chilling and bulking. Starting to smell Wonderful!
