MaestroBud Papaya Sunrise is going straight like a train. A week without jolts, with healthy, symmetrical growth and no signs of stress: large leaves, full color, stem that is starting to widen and become solid. In 3 or 4 days it will be time to move to the larger container — and she seems ready.
For now I continue with only balanced water, since the substrate is still very nutritious. The behavior of the plant suggests that the root system is expanding regularly: no signs of blockages or excesses.
Stable light at 50% with the Phlizon FD9600, active dawn-dusk cycle, temperature around 24°C and humidity at 58%.
The structure is starting to define itself and the general setup is promising.
A well-deserved applause to Microgenetica, the Italian seed bank that selected this variety: so far the genetics are behaving impeccably, vigorous, tidy and reactive. You can see that there is serious work behind it.
The transplant will be a key step… but she already seems to know what to do
MaestroBud Week 3 Vegetative – Italian roots, tropical dreams 🇮🇹🌅
Papaya Sunrise is also in its third vegetative week, still in the small pot where it germinated. I'm waiting for the roots to run their course before repotting it decisively: I want to give it the best possible start, without unnecessary stress.
It's a strain I've never tried, and I'm sincerely curious to discover its potential. I'm banking a lot on this all-Italian genetics: flavors, smells, smokability... all to be discovered! I've been following Microgenetika with interest for a long time, and I'm in contact with them precisely because of the quality and philosophy of the company.
I noticed that they are coming out with new varieties, and I will certainly test others in the next cycles.
Updates will follow! 🔥🍈
For now only clean water and active SuperSoil — I want to make it grow strong and healthy, with roots ready to support a great flowering.
MaestroBud Some genetics have not shown anything yet… but inside, they already scream possibilities.
My Papaya Sunrise is like this: a silent gem, a melody that has not yet started but that I know will make my soul dance.
It is one of those varieties that are not chosen by chance, and in fact I did not choose it lightly.
Papaya Sunrise, like Acapulco Gold, is one of the great hopes of this cycle.
Not only for what it promises in terms of aroma, structure, yield…
but for what it represents for me: the desire to elevate my grow to a new level, with awareness, technique, and a love for the plant that grows every day together with it.
I am working on its environment with the same dedication that I would reserve for a divine creature:
Calibrated soil, live mycorrhizae of Xtreme Garden Mykos ready to welcome it at the right time.
Irrigation with filtered rainwater, which I will enrich with CalMag, Sensizym and Rhino Skin by Advanced Nutrients, to support the structure and give a gentle but decisive boost.
All in an environment full of energy thanks to the Homegrow CO₂, essential with the light power I am using.
But what I am really looking forward to is the moment when I will also start the foliar treatment for her with the Dogma Organics zeolite, finely nebulized with my pressurized sprayer.
It will be like wrapping her in a protective, natural, maternal blanket.
A caress that whispers: “Grow, little one. You are safe here.”
🛠️ I am still fine-tuning everything. Time is a tyrant, but passion guides every gesture.
I am in no hurry. I have faith in the process.
And while this Papaya Sunrise takes shape, inside me the dream of making myself known in the sector also takes shape, of sharing this love with sponsors, companies, traveling companions who know how to recognize the value of sincere dedication.

With sweet anticipation and a burning heart,
