2025 Fastbuds GreenHouseGrow has come to an end. Its been an absolute roller coaster of a grow. So cool to watch them grow from sprouts to absolute giants around 8ft tall. They're a great and easy strain to grow and I could only imagine having them in bigger pots how much bigger they could get. I ended up harvesting them for fresh frozen and immediately put them into the deep freezer after trimming everything that didn't have trichs on it. Excited to do some bubble wash and make FreshFrozen and drysift Rosin/Hash. All in all highly recommended and Happy Growing.

It’s the 9th week of flower and this run is slowly coming to an end. Mimosa is by far the fastest finisher here. In 8 weeks there is around 30 % amber trichomes in the top buds. A little too much for my taste. I ve reduced the ec in the medium of mimosas to around 1.0 and took the drippers out. Now they will dry out fully in around 1 or 2 days and I will chop. The rest is more or less similar and will go for about a week more.

Not going to say I expected more as I did but I can also say wow they’re doing amazing and forming big ole buds! And the aromas are crazy coming from all of them! And I have NEWSSSSSS… so mystery revealed! On 2 big ones solo still forming! But bottom left is FASTBUDS purple punch and top left is FASTBUDS forbidden runtz and I’m so glad of it as I wanted them to be the fastbuds to get another finish or a better one on these and it seems I may not with the forbidden runtz but I will with the purple punch! My next run I will hold back as best as I can to do nothing but open them up and not defoliate or trim one set and visa versa on the others back to back to see the difference alongside each other! Be great too as I have more fastbuds to run and new Zamnesia to do on this so will be equal in timing! Plus I get to do some solos so will be a great grow!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Day 34-28/08/22 my diaries have got abit messy as I’ve been unwell but so far so good with this tulip can’t wait 😜 growing really well!!

in veg to allow humidity to be high I had plants on risers and left water in the bottom tray of tent after feeding. I cleaned the tent and reintroduced drip trays under pot risers and now I shop-vacuum all water out of drip tray to keep rh lower for flower. also increased exhaust from low to high and added a 4 inch booster fan to bottom of tent as intake to draw dry air in. sour 76 #5 (fastest largest grower) was male got pulled out of tent but later eaten by my cats :( rip didnt get any pollen collected

I am starting to think swedes got mixed up, development on 2 plants looks much more than the others. They look like I should start flushing soon. The others, not even close. I think the big pot (4ft wide by 1 ft high) doesnt dry out quick enough. It was great in the cold weather, the soil stayed hot compared to regular smart pots, but I wont use this style pot (other than this one) again.

Definitely 5-6 degrees lower offsets flowering by nearly a week. Even though reduced plant count this time still a bit to crowdy for my taste. Next time will do less plants or trim more agressively. 3 main branches would be more than enough with 12 plants. Maybe 5 branches with 9 plants.

Just did a huge 5 gallon flush on these girls they are in 8 gallon pots till runoff was clear will let them dry out completely and give them one more flush then the really frosty one will be ready probably another week week and a half and the bigger one with all the pistils will probably be another 2 or so weeks she has more bulking to do and not nearly frosty yet

Things went very very well for me. The buds didnt quite turn purple but very distinct shape to the buds that reminds me of the original purple punch that I ran. She smell is incredibly fruity of fresh bananas. I promise to update better photos in the smoke report!!!! & remember its 4:20 somewhere!

2/6: Amnesia 3 is just about 6 inches tall now. Trainwreck is only a couple inches behind. Still keeping the temps between 73-82 and the humidity in the mid to low 70s. After thoroughly watering the very healthy, young tomato plant that coesxists in the tent, the tips of some of the leaves turned yellow. That makes me wonder if soaking the soil for the first time since transplant caused a bit of nutrient burn. I'm going to avoid any nutrients the first time I water Amnesia 3 and Trainwreck fully, to avoid the same potential issue. They're not looking too thirsty yet though. 2/8: Amnesia 3 is tall enough and has a thick enough main stem to start slowly low stress training with a rubber coated gardening wire. I pre-drilled holes in my buckets for this occasion, and the wire fits well. Each day for the next week I'll gently pull the wire to slowly bend the main stem downwards, similar to how braces work on teeth: a long, slow procedure. 2/9: Woke up to Trainwreck's leaf tips pointing downwards, so I took it as a sign to go ahead and give it its first watering. I siphoned up a bit of the runoff water, and it came back at a PH of 4! That's not good; however, after researching a bit, it's likely that I could have siphoned up a pocket of low PH nutrient-filled water, making my reading way off in terms of the PH of the whole slurry of runoff. If the leaves don't bounce back, I'm going to take that as a potential sign of Nitrogen toxicity and will monitor more closely. Will probably make plans for a flush if it progresses any worse than downward leaves. Nitrogen toxicity can cause fragile, dark green leaves that point down in a shape similar to a claw, among other symptoms. 2/12: Watered Amnesia 3 for the first time since transplant. Getting taller and less bushy in some spots, so I may turn up the lights from 60 to 75% tomorrow, to see if I can increase some more growth. But before, I want to make sure this watering doesn't cause any nute burn from the soil.

2nd week of flowering Yes. It does bloom well, I did quite a bit of defoliation throughout the week even completely cutting off the lower branches. All 4 are growing wide and full of colas. I'm happy with what I'm seeing and will not pull more leaves off for the coming week. I have ordered a bottleof Power buds from Plagron and will add it to the nutrients as soon as it arrives (should be tomorrow) bless.

These 6 monsters are already my favorite specimens in the garden. The growth in the coco/perlite hempy's is astounding, right up there with DWC. Many of these girls have outgrown their mother which resides in 5 gallons of soilless. F11 and all is good. Environment on point, smell in check, and visiting the garden only 3 times a week. End of 6.week.

5x9 everything is still the same for the most part, been running the system 4 times a day for 7-9 mins at a time manually until my auto ph doser gets here then I will have them on a timer for more frequent but shorter feedings. The 4x8 is starting to get goin a little bit I put the trellis in last night and did some super cropping and weaving. Also installed the drip system yesterday on the 4x8 but still hand feeding for another day or 2. this strain is very easy to grow.. i do recommend using a carbon filter because she smells really strong when she's flowering
