Easy growing plant . Only watered the whole process had a beautiful light green fade all purple frost buds

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Super satisfied

In this week they were beyond beyond ready for bigger pots so it was time to bring them to there new and final home in a super secret space that no one will ever find.. it’s a garage but We built a cool ass room in it lol ! Anyways the plants are healthy and ready for a new pot this is the transfer from rockwoool cubes into coco coir for the flowering phase. We use this method because of the taste you get from coco coir in your buds and the speedy growth you get from rockwool !

At this point I have 15 gal pots ready for the coco açaí to be transplanted into being inoculated with microbes allowing them to colonize a few weeks before the transplant. This weeks lst and hst techniques have been applied and will be implemented threw out the grow.

Week 7: Flowering Stage Rising Temperatures and Growth The weather has taken a positive turn, with temperatures rising again. This change should promote some nice growth in the ladies. The increase in warmth will help accelerate bud development, and I expect to see significant progress in the coming days. Nitrogen Toxicity Banana Purple Punch After the initial intervention two days ago, the situation has not worsened. I am monitoring the growth of the newly emerging leaves to ensure they do not continue to curl downward. The pH level of the runoff looks good, sitting exactly in the ideal range (6). I hope the plant recovers quickly and that growth and yield are not adversely affected. Feeding and Watering Adjustments With the warmer weather, I have adjusted my watering schedule to ensure the plants remain hydrated. I’m now giving each 11-liter pot 3 liters of nutrient solution to prevent salt buildup. This should help keep the plants healthy and promote optimal growth. Pest Control A few leaves have slight holes due to snail damage, but otherwise, there are no significant pest problems. The plants are still kept in the greenhouse overnight due to the high snail population. I don’t want to serve the ladies to the snails on a silver platter. Bud Development The buds are swelling nicely, and the resin production is increasing. The plants are showing significant signs of maturity, with the aroma intensifying. The trichomes are developing well, and I’m pleased with the progress so far. Blue Dream: This strain has the largest buds so far, and the smell is the most intense. Banana Purple Punch: The buds are also looking good, but the aroma is weaker compared to Blue Dream. Gorilla Cookies: This plant has had a growth spurt and is showing beautiful tops with white hairs. Tangie: After the initial pre-flowering, Tangie has not formed many buds and is still in the full stretch phase. Low-Stress Training (LST) Update I am no longer tying the plants down. Instead, I am bending some branches in different directions to ensure all the shoots receive sufficient light. I have removed very few large leaves but am tucking the leaves out of the way. Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

October 22, 2021 I think they are finally starting to look a little better. I have been pulling off any leaves that were showing too much damage. I'm finally starting to see less damage. I didn't feed any Recharge this week. My Recharge has gotten old and I don't think its working like it should. I contacted Real Growers and they are sending out some replacement Recharge for me. I'll definitely add Recharge back into the feeding schedule once the new bag arrives. I gave Neptunes Harvest Fish and Seaweed at full strength, but only 1/2 gallon to each plant. Then a few days later I watered into the reservoir directly, instead of trying to water through. I purchased a funnel with a flexible hose from one of the local auto part stores and I'm able to place the hose directly into the reservoir. I was honestly shocked how the water from the reservoir was completely wicked up into the soil by the next day. I hope this is the way to make these 3 gallon SIP pots work without overwatering.🙏 Cya next week!

79 days!!!!! and the harvest is already harvested :) The whole growth until week 6 went very well, then the girl got a little worse, (I think it's my mistake, which I described in previous weeks), but besides all that she managed to ripen perfectly, matured stiff flowers, full of shiny sticky trichomes with a very, very sweet aroma ;) 210 gr of wet buds, I also collected a lot of sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash :) I can't wait to taste it :) this is my first trip with Sweetseeds Looking at the flowers I understand that I will definitely repeat it :) I will leave more feedback after the smoke review:) good luck to everyone.

Week 6 - Veg - her nutes have been upped to 2ml of grow, micro and bloom and feeding every 3rd day now.

Loved growing. Definitely one of the best buds i have smoked. Trimming was enjoyable.
