So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Day 63: This week has seen the bud stacks building up nicely. They look a far way off a finish still in general but that's ok by me for their overall yield potential. All 3 have been doing good and I dont doubt without any training, would have been impossible to fit in the room without a drop in plant count. They are putting out a beautiful aroma now and it seems I have another very fruity smelling beauty strain to harvest. #1 Has kept her growth consistent throughout and been the best producer until now She has a lot of bud sotes to get busy stacking on so hopefully a few weeks will see her balloon. #2 Has become the behemoth of the grow now with her pushing her way through foliage like a British Missionary. She needs some space now and will be very happy to get it following the 1st harvest of blackberry. #3 Has done well to keep her development active among the thicket she was in. Trimming out the undersides of these ladies has given great airflow so I dont have to worry too much about mould and too much Rh. She will also get more space soon. Feeds are going well and they Love the MC/shogun combo it seems. Let's hope we have a great harvest to show how amazing these Fast Buds strains are.

Well I almost out of my base nutrients and the grow store and everywhere else was sold out tell next month so I had to switch to my Jungle Juice I had left from my last grow. I have roughly 80ml left of the other stuff and I'd rather save that for my 2x2 grow that's still going. Adjusted all the lights up to make more light in the room. Now there is a good solid light amount across the room and should have to worry with any light burns or anything. Had a bit of yellowing in some of my leaves. Think it's because I was running my PPM so low before. Now that I've cranked it up a bit I hope it corrects itself. Well that's all so happy growing everyone!!!

Day 22 girls got watered today with double nutrition and are doing great Day 23 we had a few without yellow tips so we thought they could use a flush but some to realize it’s probably low on something so normal water tomorrow Day 24 today we found out we were not putting enough cal mag the instructions said 2ml for one liter not gal. So today we hooked them up and started some LST Day 25 we started LST on all the girls Day 27 still working on LST I over watered the girl yesterday so today the got a day off Day 28 girls got watered today bottom was a little dry everyone is handling LST well so happy to see all the bud sights

Week 5 already? Plant is struggling to catch up after such that two week lag period where it didn't do a thing. Still, things are starting to get encouraging so now watering every day at 2 hours after lights on. Added a webcam to the tent to watch what is happening. Noticed that at 12 hours after lights on, the leaves would start to wilt. Flooding at that time didn't have any noticeable effect before lights out, so I added a flood at 9 hours in (half the period). Pushed the wilting back to 14-15 hours after lights on, and just a little now, but still not completely solved. Grew from 2 inches to 7 inches this week!

So 14 days into flip and wow oh wow! I bring you flowers! I have since being sponsored took it so serious and made sure I come with the best quality and also a different approach! Day 78 - Starting week 12 and gave her two gallons of water with 5ML of MagiCal and 80ML of Sugardaddy per the Technaflora feed chart. She’ll get two doses of that and then straight pH’d water till the end. Day 80 - Nothing to update today other than she’s showing a bunch of gorgeous reds pistils mixed in with the yellow and oranges. She’s still got another couple days, I think, until she’s ready for some water. Day 82 - She was ready for water today, so gave her two gallons of water with her final feeding of MagiCal and Sugardaddy. It’ll just be straight pH’d water until harvest and thinking about 7-10 days or so. Day 83 - Just waiting for her to be ready to chop and she’s finally starting to fade out a bit, 7-10ish days left. Day 84 - The end of week 12 and she’s really starting to fade so don’t think she’s got too much longer, another week or so. Not showing a whole bunch of amber trichs but a few so hopefully she’ll finish off strong.

Week 3: Everything is going smoothly, Temps and Humidity have been stable. I’ve continued to train using LST and Defoliating a couple of fan leaves. I made a tea this week using Dragonfly Earth Medicine nutrients. Every 3rd day she is wanting more. I will alternate plain PH’d water and D.E.M.

Looks a beast I minimise handling and hang whole mius a few larger fan leaves so no wet weight but she's got lovley big colas full of frost with a pungent cheesy aroma. Great plant all in all. An early tester I tried smoked great so looking forward to the slow dried version from my dry tent. Parameters are good in ther at 19°c with the humidity set to 55% for the first two days then I up to 60% for the remaining 10 days or so. Then we cure in jars, burping regularly till a stable 62% is reached and then into heat sealed grove bags. I'll check in with the final report after the cure. Almost exactly 11 weeks from seed. 12/18 start of a new week they seem to have really settled into the bed and reacted well to the last feed. 12/21 gave a tea that had worm castings, lobster compost, gnarly barley, craft blend, rolled oats, and molasses 20 hour brew. Added all the goodies to it 3 gallon drench. Defoliated lower leaves touching dirt.
