The warm weather has returned! (This has been such an odd year weather wise.) Also so has the humidity. There was a few days in between the end of last week and the middle of this one that were perfect, temps in the 60's and low humidity of like 40% RH. Looks like a lot of rain in the next coming week so just glad the girls get to soak up all this sun! An increase in nutes should also help with growth, slow and steady wins the race. Almost to peak level of nutrients, probably next week.

A Excited Welcome 🏆 I have just added this extra week in my diary as I have so many great photos of my beautiful Watermelon Auto girl from RQS which I must recommend growing as she is a stunner with large buds that smell delicious.😊 This girl is now defently finished and I'm getting ready to chop her down she has gone past and I would recommend giving her a good 10-12 weeks as it's not until late that all her colours and smell comes out. Aktueller Zustand der Pflanze (siehe Bild): Die Pflanze präsentiert sich aktuell in einem hervorragenden Zustand und entwickelt sich prächtig. Trotz der Herausforderungen, die wir im Laufe dieses Grows hatten, sind die Ergebnisse mehr als ermutigend. * Wuchsform: Die Pflanze hat sich sehr buschig und kompakt entwickelt, mit einer Vielzahl von gut ausgebildeten Seitentrieben, die alle dicht mit Blüten besetzt sind. Dies deutet auf eine exzellente Lichtausnutzung und eine gelungene Verzweigung hin, wahrscheinlich durch gezieltes Training in der Vegetationsphase. * Blütenqualität: Die Buds sind auffallend dicht und zeigen eine beeindruckende Harzproduktion. Die Trichome sind bereits deutlich sichtbar und glänzen, was auf eine hohe Potenz und Aromaentwicklung hindeutet. Die Stigmen (Blütenhärchen) sind größtenteils bernsteinfarben verfärbt, was auf eine fortgeschrittene Reifephase hinweist und die bevorstehende Ernte ankündigt. * Blattgesundheit: Die Blätter sind weiterhin größtenteils grün und vital. Einige der größeren Fächerblätter im unteren Bereich zeigen die für die späte Blütephase typischen Vergilbungen, da die Pflanze ihre letzten Energiereserven in die Blütenbildung umlagert. Dies ist ein natürlicher Prozess und kein Anzeichen für akute Mängel in diesem Stadium. Herausforderungen und Erkenntnisse aus diesem Grow: Wir hatten im Laufe dieses Durchgangs mit einer Volatilität des pH-Wertes zu kämpfen, die zeitweise nur schwer zu stabilisieren war. Dies führte zu der Notwendigkeit, den pH-Wert der Nährlösung häufiger anzupassen. Nach genauerer Beobachtung wurde die Hauptursache für diese pH-Schwankungen identifiziert: Algenbildung auf der Oberfläche der Steinwolle. Diese Algen konkurrierten nicht nur um Nährstoffe, sondern trugen auch maßgeblich zu den instabilen pH-Werten bei. Learnings für den nächsten Grow: Um die Algenbildung und damit die pH-Problematik zukünftig zu vermeiden, sind folgende Maßnahmen geplant: * Reduzierung der Steinwollwürfel-Größe: Es werden kleinere Steinwollwürfel für die Keimung und Startphase verwendet. * Einsatz von mehr Tonkugeln (Leca): Die Steinwollwürfel werden im nächsten Grow deutlich besser mit Tonkugeln abgedeckt, um die Oberfläche vollständig vor Licht zu schützen. Dies wird die Algenbildung effektiv unterbinden und somit zu einem stabileren pH-Wert beitragen. Ausblick: Trotz der aufgetretenen Schwierigkeiten bin ich mit dem aktuellen Zustand der Pflanze äußerst zufrieden. Sie ist ein starkes Beispiel dafür, wie widerstandsfähig diese Pflanzen sein können, wenn die Grundversorgung stimmt und auf Probleme reagiert wird. Ich freue mich auf die bevorstehende Ernte und bin gespannt auf die Qualität des Endprodukts.

This week the progress was fantastic , they are very healthy and flowers are growing faster than I can keep up. One of my plants is struggling has yellow spots on the leaves , was always significantly smaller than the others but I have done the exact same thing to all of them and I can’t figure out what is wrong . I would assume mayb over feeding and it’s only effecting this one because it is so small . But 1 out of 5 isn’t bad, it is still budding but not nearly on pace with the others.

Unfortunately ive been away for a few weeks so unable to get any pics while she was being looked after. But im back now! Here she is in week 5 of flower, with another week or so nutrients then a 2 week flush. So excited to try this for xmas🤩

Loud hashy, pepper, sulfur, rotten fruit, lemon, and Skittles terps. The landraces got nice structure, terps and yield but resin is lacking. I think that's normal. Gonna have to cross these a few times till I find something great that is worth it.

The little one has put the turbo on. After a perfect germination, the vegetative phase has begun: the first few days are always a mix of excitement and attention to detail. The real leaves have peeked out, nice and wide and of a healthy green that gives hope for what is to come. It is adapting well to the Light Mix, and the initial combination of Dynamyco + Extreme Garden Root is proving, as always, a winning choice. I am keeping the nutrition light, watering with distilled water and Cellmax Rootbooster, so as to encourage a robust root system before moving on to the full regime. The humidity and temperatures are under control, the box is stable and ready to welcome the green explosion that awaits us. Eyes open and hands light. The road is long but the direction is the right one 🚀

Somehow I miscalculated the days and started week 6 prematurely. I will just continue here thru to week 7 Day 32 From Seed NYD#2 Started LST. Pot was light, watered at 6.3 including Fish Sh!t. NYD#3 The pony tail backfired. The main is mangled. Despite small nodes, I started LST and watered at 6.3 including Fish Sh!t. Day 33 From Seed Did some research and found out the ponytail should only be used during the light cycle and removed for the dark period. I left it on, which caused the ugly. Lesson learned! Day34 Adjusted and added LST. Watered #2 at 6.5. #3 was still heavy, no water needed. Day 37 Watered, adjusted LST Day 39 From Seed Watered, adjusted LST. Found a bug that isn't a fungus gnats (NYD#3). Inspected both plants for more. Did a neem oil top drench and added Vicks Vapor Rub to the pot rims (bug deterrent). So raised light roughly 4 inches. Day 41 Light watering, adjusted LST ties, top drenched with Neem Oil. Added a few ounces of peroxide to the humidifier. They'll both need a top dress soon.
