Hi guys, At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome, since I almost killed everything in there 😂 Fat Banana is a very nice fruity-kush strain ,with a genetic background tracing back to OG Kush x Chiquita Banana. It is a heritage with a lot of power behind it, this can be seen in the potency of Fat Banana’s bud, which can reach up to 25%+ THC in just 9 weeks! When grown with an expert hand (NOT MINE😅). The potential here is great! I did have problems throughout the cycle overfertilizing the plant. This is one of the strain that did notice more my mistake, can be clearly seen on the final product. Infact, a good part of the flowers, went for bubble hash, I kept a bit to try it out because the smell its amazing. I topped her and then, because of an accidents I mainlined her, first to try the Mainlining training and 2nd as it was the only one I had, I wanted to grow her. Probably If I wouldnt have messed up with the ferilizer I would have had a much better final product, this time, talking about quantity and quality. The whole plants were dried for 18 days after which they were finished in jars for another 6 weeks, if I dont fell sooner. Gonna grow this strain again 80% I would like to thank Grow Diaries for this amazingly-organized community they have created, where we all can learn a lot, and share something we really love. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at the diary, squeezed the like button or comment the diary. 13/12 I'VE MADE MY FIRST RUN OF BUBBLE HASH! Very very happy with the end result, did not weight anything yet because is still wet big time, I lightly squeezed it a bit, before let it drying on parchment on a cardboard. The smell it's just absolutely crazy. I can smell strong citrus notes in the 120µm but the 90µm and 73µm explodes with crazy-sweet note. While the 25µm (did not use the 43µm) where I did collect most of the hash, smell like good and sweet hash, nothing crazy like the previous ones but a very buttery like consistency that makes me want to eat it like this...dont ask me why...even though I know you all probably felt this way too... Anyway, the paper sheet says it all about timing, washes and µm used for the extractions, but just in case I'll explain it down here. I have done 3 wash with different timing. 1º wash: 5 min only to get the most brittle trichome heads 2º wash: 10 min stardard 3º wash: 30 min to stock up a bit 😅 I could have done an extra wash for sure and get more out, but I was running out of time so...I will update with the dry weight, it was not the only wash I've done, that were just too many grades to weight up..so I chose to do it once all dry! This week we are seeing the girls starting to flower, mixed in a gaia green topdress and chopped it up into the sand, then adding another layer. The sand really does a number on the fungas gnats. Going to do some lollipopping and lots of defolation. Trying to pick and chose which colas to bring to the end. I cant wait to see what this looks like when its filled with bud. After I train tonight its going to be hands off completely besides watering.

scratch what I said last week, trichomes still milky and buds just getting more and more dense, in my last grows i’ve always been low on weed by the time harvest rolls around but i’m not this time so i’ll just be letting it go until I have to pull it.

Buds size growth on #1 is good for the stage she's at will breed a branch or two later down.... Growth on #2 is just great..if u been following u will see exactly what am talking about or u can take a stroll 🔙

Started only using water, waiting game at this point. Leaves starting to really fade to a purple/black. While the buds take on a pink/purple hue

First week of pre flower. Getting nervous about this transition stage, first plant ever, any advice on how to not screw it all up?!? Also, someone give me some feedback! I think she looks in decent health but I would love some experienced opinions.

Good week, starting to get tons of bud sites. Did a clean up of all the lower branches and foliage to keep my focus on track. Top dressed some nitro bat to help with the small nitrogen deficiency.

We’re now fully in production mode!🔥 The stretch is definitely done, and she’s putting all her energy into bud development. The trichomes are multiplying nicely, and the smell is becoming more and more intense, fresh lemon with a subtle sweet twist.🍋🍬 The bud structure is quite different from what I’m used to, more airy and elongated, kind of sativa-like. Curious to see how this one finishes up. Still healthy, still cruising, let’s see what next week brings!

This week we should really see these colas blow up and start stacking really strong. The mixer of 7 hours of sun and 17 hours under my LEDs has really helped my girls grow strong. Nothing compares to good old Mother Nature.

Je tiens aussi à préciser que j’active les graines en les laissant 4 à 8h dans un verre d’eau au bon ph, et ensuite les mets dans des serviettes humide pour la germination, je n’ai pas encore eu de graine qui n’ont pas germé avec cette méthode, je met une toute petite pincée de trhichoderma dans les serviette vraiment très très peu pour stimuler les racines rapidement.

She has a sweet kinda fruity flowery smell at the moment. She is in the middle of bulking. I got the nute burn fro. Weeks ago is under control. She is Snelling and looking like she is gonna produce a good yield.
