Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. -Still battling getting the humidity lower than 59° but as far as right now I'm just looking to do a light defoliation at the end of week 3 and hopefully expose more but sites. -Slowly taking off big fan leaves day by day instead of doing it all at once.

It is 8 weeks in now . This colas are packing up some weights , but i'm not so happy about the density of the bud , they seem very airy to me .This might happen because the pheno looks so Sativa dominant . Everything seems fine but i still can't really wrap my head around the nute burn . I tried lowering my nute concentration ( 800 ppm ) but she doesn't seem to be happy anyways . The ppm in the reservoir still kicks up as high as 1800ppm and the ph drops to 5.3 - 5.5 . So this week i flushed her and going to feed her at 500ppm . This is so weird because she is so huge i thought she would appreciate lots of feeding but she hates the nute. She continue drinking 3-4 L of water per day but as i stated the ppm in the reservoir is so high , so i can conclude that she doesn't want to take in the food i'm feeding to her . I don't see crazy amount of trichomes but i wouldn't complain since this is my first grow . The trichs are turning more milky and some of the colas hairs are browning .I expect her to be flowering for at least 2 - 3 weeks before harvesting .

Another week is over.. last time in week 9 i gave them some nutes for the first time, mix of biobizz grow-bloom-fishmix-calmag. Flowers become bigger and there is a nice odor in the greenhouse.

7/28 some light lead pulling removing bottom area and sites that I fill be waste of time taking energy from the tops still RO water and tea every other week

5/5/2024 Pistils pistils pistils 5/8 these plants are fucking exploding! Super exciting to see them like this. Pistils everywhere and they’re just STACKING! don’t even see budlets yet, just pistils. The structure of these plants is beautiful. They handle training fairly well. I topped one and super cropped it and did a bit of lst. I was feeling impatient so I decided to see what happened if I pushed the one a little harder and left the other to grow naturally.

Another week, she is growing great and its time to clean the bottom part of the plant. I remove leaves and branches to focus the energy to the top and not waste it on the lower branches.

Pretty good week, no problems. Added a dehumidifier yesterday (Saturday). And also bought a new light. The light should arrive on Tuesday. Looking forward to that because then I’ll be able to spread them out further so they’ll all have as much room to grow as they need. I believe they’ve started flowering, that happened like day 24 when I first noticed the white hairs coming out of the bud sites. They really took off growing mid way through the week. Like twice the growth as the prior week. I haven’t been defoliating per se, I have been tucking & tying leaves down. Many of the secondary flowering nodes have actually surpassed the main cola’s of my plants height wise. Those that did I tied slightly back down. Really wish I could cut a few branches off them without stressing them out. Oh well. Such is the bane of autoflower growing. The new light I bought is a Colofrog 2021 CF 2400 LED w/Samsung LM301H Osram Diodes. From what I gathered online, it’s a better light than the Mars hydro tsw 2000 I currently own. I’ve got my ts 1000 in the tent currently just to get through until the new light comes Tuesday.

Hello Diary, The Milky Way F1 is ready to harvest soon, although the Titan F1 ripened first and is already ready, the Milky Way F1 and Apollo F1 will have to wait another week in my estimation. The Milky Way F1, as seen in the photos, is truly a sight for the eyes. The flowers started to get more and more brown pistils, but looking under the microscope, the trichomes are not all milky yet. So I'll leave her for another day. Otherwise, the flowers are full of trichomes, from which a strong fragrance spreads. Here and there a yellowish leaf appears, which I immediately remove. Watering is a little more frequent due to the high temperatures, but I stopped adding any nutrients. Here's a quick recap of the week. 26/06/2023 - Day 58. Watering. Only two days later, the plants drank all the water, so I watered them with two liters for each individual plant. 29/06/2023 - Day 61. Watering.
