Welcome to the Week 10, Day 70 update for the Sweet Seeds Cream Mandarine XL Autoflowering grow. Not much to talk about this week as the last two plants remaining in the tent are on cruise control to harvest. I used fertilizer for the final time at the beginning of Week 10 and it’s flush time for these plants until the big chop! They are still being watered every 4th day and they are still drinking about 3.5 litres per plant per watering (0.875 of a litre per plant per day). These remaining two plants have virtually no Powdery Mildew so I am only defoliating as needed if the leaf is already dying. All of the pistols/hairs have turned orange and are receding back into the buds so I’m guessing that harvest will be in Week 11. I have included a brief video above with my photos showing pretty much everything used during this grow. I wanted to give people a quick look at how simple it really is to grow and harvest your own high quality cannabis. Hope you enjoy! They have settled in good after last weeks transplant. Of the 2 plants #1 might be 1/2" taller. Keep in mind I am very new to this and dont yet have a trained Eye, but I would have to say these to are near identical. Idk the filial generation this crop, but the things ate growing like clones! Really uniform. One noteworthy item; they aren't really fans of extreme heat. Right now I have them in my seedling tent which is currently running at 85° give or take. Sho the other strains love it. Choc mint OG is showing very mild heat stress tho

Week3! moving out of early veg and into big boi weeks. Probably within the next week or so we will be doing our first topping. 6+ growth terminals will be my metric and I will be taking the best 4 and running 4 mains per plant. I also decided to edge up the nutrients, they look like they responded to the boost last week so Ill see if I can run them off of the Vanilla chart from TPS 10+ week extended chart. I usually run the nutrients at 70% strength A/B so we will see if we can push more in the late veg area. Also To deal with the possibility of future Root Gnat issues before I Transplanted the seedlings into 7 gal containers, I made sure i ran boiling water through my premade soil mix before hand. that way if there was any larvae in the soil it killed them off beforehand. I did replace soil microbes that I ended up killing off as well by adding in recharge after the fact when the soil cooled down a bit, even if the micro-bio stuff in the soil was not compromised I made sure to have a backup plan. I will also be spraying the ladies with Crop Defender 3 soon for mildew and spider mite prevention. CD3 is compleately organic pesticide/fungicide which is OMRI listed.

They grew so FAST! It had rained a lot the day before and it was raining that day in the video as well. The wind kept the temperature pretty low and lukil they didn't need that much sunlight yet.

These are clones that I managed to take from my summer garden that became a disaster due to a heat wave that we had breaking 100 year records. I expect everything to be 48” in height at maturity.

Seeing a lot of changes since I’ve started the LST. Most of the plants are doing good exept for one that seems to be having a hard time. I will also be adding an xl exhale co2 bag.

I’m not 100% done collecting all the data. By the smell of it, this plant will be one of the dankest plants I’ve ever grown. More to come. Tuesday, September 5 I have the nugs in jars right now. Hopefully I didn’t let it dry too much. Right now the humidity is at around 52% but I think if I move the jar around a bit I can them to sweat a bit more.

Here we are at the moment of truth, the flowers are starting to form, our Ghost Train Haze reveals its sex and of course like all Zamnesia plants I will be the father of two beautiful females. One is growing straight but I will show it to you later because I have been focusing a lot on this one in main - lining. It is a plant with a wide internodal distance so we have more time to shape it before the woodification and it lends itself very well to late lst interventions. I managed to open it on the main line very well and the lateral branches are really, growing and stretching properly. We will not see the super productive trees of the autumn harvest but I am willing to bet that we will have lots of beauty and lots of resin in beautiful bush-sized plants. Wait for the uncle BreadandBuds.... We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start schedule that keeps the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a bit swollen, do not start immediately. Week 4 flower 🌸 Both plants seem healthy and happy so far showing good bud development this week. I have been giving both plants around 500ml of water each in between feeds as the pots are drying up every couple of days. some light defoliation removing a few leafs that were blocking some of the larger bud sites. ✌️
