Week 18

🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃
This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩.
Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity.
September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars.
Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano)
I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil.
For the moment the flowering continues.
-Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged.
-Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch.
-GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way.
-Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn. Late flowering, Sativa.

I figured nothing could go wrong with 50% amber / 50% milky trichomes.
Harvest day, Medical Mass: Huge buds and no traumas but got bud rot because of too high temps. The best I've ever smoked.
Harvest day, Pineapplex Express: Got an early trauma when transplanting but handled it beautifully. Potent smoke.
Pretty satisfied for a first grow, and I have a lot of changes for my 2nd grow!

Decided one more week of flower. Replenished with nutrients on Monday.
Will replenish with just straight water for the rest of the week. If needed, I will change the reservoir water to give it more of a flush. Plan is to harvest next week and start the curing! Excited to see how my first grow changed .

The way she grows is very nice I like it the leaves are broad and the smell from her already is just so dam good skunky. The plant being transplanted helped and now she has just took off. I'm starting to do LST and bending her over very hard it's going good so far. The plant can take a lot and I'm loving the genetics can't wait to see how she goes next week ...cheer canna fam

Lowered grow dose

Replaced rhino skin with big bud
buds are stacking nicely, pistils are exploding, and frost is coming in.
All 3 plants showing slight stress which I believe is from the strong 600w HPS light. Nothing of concern, however not a lot I can do as light is already as full height, however Will Increase air flow more upward.
Day 44
Frost has arrived. Bud sites really started to fill out now. Drinking 3L every 1.5 days. Last feed was no grow as wanna cut back on N, and a 50% feed of other nutrients to reduce nute burn. Very happy with progress so far.

Cada vez más hermosas, unas más grandes que otras pero en general un cultivo bastante homogéneo que desde ya indica que dará unos frutos realmente espectaculares.

Birthday doughnut by equilibrium genetics is a excellent strain.very easy to grow and a good yeilder. I really only vegged these plants for like 4-5 weeks and pulled 7 ounces off 3 plants. On a 200 watt light mf2000

GENERAL COMMENT. WEEK 5 OF FLOWER.
Ok guys, this week ran ok for one girl and less for her sister, so i will go on details individually.
RQS STRESS KILLER AUTOMATIC COMMENT.
Beautiful girl getting bigger everyday, i’m very satisfied overall, she is fast and have lots of terpenes, and started heavy resin production. Super strong, absolutely no issue at all for now. I’m imagining to start flushing this week or the next will decide this days to come, but this grow will be max 12 weeks.
Not reading the runoff on this girl as everything is just amazing. Maybe will backbuild some colas to compare.
EC at 2.2, released a lot of N now, but still did a good feeding, it might be the last, or max one more before the flush.
Will be flushing with flawless finish in the last week.

Weekly update for these lovely ladies. They smell like a fresh picked Apricot and the flowers are dense to the touch. Half of them are done so they'll be coming out this week to be harvested. I'm excited as the terps on this strain checks all the boxes for me. All in all Happy Growing.

Day 15 - Transplanted WWxBB 1, and SB 1 & 2 to Roots Organics Original in 5 gallon pots. It went smooth and they all perked up pretty quickly. WWxBB2 could use some more time to develop its roots but no more than 2 days until she gets transplanted too.
Day 17 - Transplanted WWBB2 this morning so now all 4 ladies are in 5 gallon pots. Watering .5 L every about every 3 days but will need to gradually increase the watering amount with the root development. Keeping an eye out for topping time!
Day 19 - Starting to see some slight discolorations on a few leaves. Seems too early for the soil to be running out of nutrients and my pH has been consistent as far as I know. Thinking about trying a light does of some FF nutes if it persists. WWBB1 is almost ready for topping.

Harvested at end of twelve weeks, At week 11 the trichomes were 95% milky with 60% orange pistils.
Appearance of Plant: Short and Sturdy with Thick Leaves
Appearance of buds: Big & Dense
Density of Buds: 10/10
Resin: 8/10
Dry Time and Cure for Smoke Report: 7 days at 55% Humidity // Temp: 71°
Smoke Report: The smoke is really smooth that hit you instantly with a head high. Use cautiously as its quite strong if used in bigger dosage. I feel alert and can take on any project I have on the go at the time. Good for day time and also to relax at night.
Pros of growing this strain:
- Short and dense. Can be grown anywhere (very discreet)
- Would be great for SOG
- Fast and easy to trim barely any leaves on the flowers
Cons:
- Small yield
- Very Short plant (needed to raise the plant to keep it levelled with other plants

Higher humidity forced me to harvest early with Some bud rot
Very sweet almost sour tangerine smell
Got in my room drying in a brown paper bag in about 73 degrees and 52% humidity

The tent is doing well, things are growing really fast in there! I’m going to repot the last little one this weekend.
1ml of Plagron additives added to the water and the LST begins!
