Tequila Sunrise - Week 7: Slug Attack! But This Señorita's a Fighter ¡Ay caramba! This week with Tequila Sunrise has been a real telenovela, growmies! Just when I thought things were heating up with the flowering fiesta, WHAM! Enter the evil-doers, the nefarious villains... the SLUGS! Seriously, folks, when I saw my little señorita on Friday, I swear I could've cried. Those slimy devils had gone to town, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Leaves munched, flower parts devoured - it was a scene straight out of a horror movie! To add insult to injury, I unearthed a whole gang of the culprits - nine fat, brown slugs of all sizes chilling in the soil. The audacity! But here's the thing: Tequila Sunrise ain't going down without a fight! In a stroke of genius (or maybe just desperation), I decided to elevate her to a plastic chair throne. Apparently, slugs are like nightclub bouncers - they don't like high places (gettit?! ;). And guess what? It worked! The next two nights, not a single slimy visitor dared to approach. Victory, at least for now! Despite the slug buffet, Tequila Sunrise even managed to pull off a respectable 10cm growth spurt this week. This girl's a fighter, that's for sure. Weeds are called weeds for a reason, right? They're tough as nails, and Tequila Sunrise is no exception. So, here's the plan, amigos: let's send some good vibes this señorita's way. With a little luck and some continued anti-slug warfare, she might just bounce back from this brutal attack and still deliver a decent harvest. We believe in you, Tequila Sunrise! May 12th 14th - most of the plants were watered with Nute Tea ** unsolicited… the vivosun e6 clip-on is an awesome small fan. Wonderfully made/finished and a super efficient tool for the tent. A No-Brainer of a purchase now that I see it work! 16th - she’s hit with a bit of a nitrogen deficiency and that changing. Coffee grounds mixed into surface, Worm Casting Tea for Dinner… - a few plants in the tent are showing it. All Purpose Fert 4-4-4 must be running low… - Will add half-dose of Granular Veg Fert (gaia green) to liquid dinner 17th - fed and Looking Good 👀 18th - last day of the week, back on track. 19th - found a big set of Nuts on the Afghan… we’ll have to try this one again ! Sorry Seedsman!

To be honest overall this strain done good so as the others. Reflecting back on how i started with just a tent and light, and slowly buying the fans and filters whiles the plants were growing. But i did want these plants to grow naturally without topping and Low Stress Training. I regret not removing the lower branches becuase i did get alot of small airy buds down there. But it was all trial and error. All i done was remove some fan leaves when good to do so every now and then. Not on a mad level tho, i did have alot of sugar leaves which i will be making some stuff with! At veg the plants had deficiencies due to out of date Biobizz bottles. But that got sorted with the magic of Algimac and Calmag. Overall Next time I will definitely train the plants and maybe top a few. Final Yield: Plant #1 21.88 Grams Plant #2 33.36 Grams Plant #3 56.06 Grams Which yield exactly 110 grams! Ounces come out very fat with these light buds Not bad for the conditions they were brought up in, and with no training! Thanks for everyone who has followed this diary throught out the journey! Hello Diary, The third week of vegetation has ended, which is also the beginning of flowering. As you can see in the photos, Milky Way has started to form flowers which is normal for automatics after 3 weeks of vegetation. Milky Way is developing nicely, it grew about 10 cm in a week and got a lot of new leaves. The bright spots that were on some of the leaves have disappeared, which is good news. I started to feel a slight smell, which also makes me happy :). This week I also did minimal defoliation, I removed only the lowest leaves to make it easier to water and improve the air flow through the plant itself. When it comes to watering, it is not frequent, about every 4 days. This week I added one tablet of Easy Grow Booster. The conditions on the farm are excellent I would say, the temperature is around 26 degrees while the humidity is around 50%. Here's how it looked this week. 16/05/2023 - Day 17. Watering. I prepared 7 liters of water, lowered the pH. to 6.0 and dissolved one Easy Grow tablet and with that amount of water I watered all three plants equally. 19/05/2023 - Day 20. First, I did a minimal defoliation, removing only the bottom leaves to make watering easier and improve air flow through the plant a bit. After that I watered all three plants. 20/05/2023 - Day 21. Harvest day 70 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. First of all I would like to compliment Green House for this genetics. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. The growth was great from start to finish. She had no problems at all and also had no problems with animals 👍. I'm amazed at the great smell the beautiful buds give off😀. 2/17/2024 - Vegetation Week 1 Day 1- I removed some of the water to see where the roots were only one had roots in the water. However I want to go ahead and get them on Week one Nutes So I am over 50 gallons of water in the system so I mixed the Trio at a 1.0mil per Gallon but restricted it to a top of 50 gallons period. I top fed the other two to keep encouraging root growth. I also finished my drying and curing from my last run and wanted to show what it looks like all bagged up and in the cannatrol. I added the following Nutes: Silica = .5Mil/Gal= 25Mil CalMag= .75Mil/Gal= 37.5Mil FloraMicro = 1Mil/Gal= 50Mil FloraGro= 1Mil/Gal= 50Mil FLoraBloom= 1Mil/Gal= 50Mil ORCA = .5Mil/Gal= 25Mil EPSOM- 1 big pinch 2/18/2024 - Vegetation Week 1 Day 2- I top fed #1 and #3 since they still don't have roots in the water, I will continue one top feed a day until roots hit water. 2/19/2024 - Vegetation Week 1 Day 3- #3 now has root in the water.. Yay!! I now have #2 and #3 with roots in the water so no top feed for them. I only had to top feed #1 and the only reason I didn't just go ahead and cull her today was I am responsible for breaking her tap root and stunting her, I wasn't careful enough and she was the first to show a good root. In that vain I will carry her a few more day's top feeding but if not root by the end of the week she is getting culled. 2/20/2024 - Vegetation Week 1 Day 4- Today I Ensured the PH is in range, I refilled the Humidifiers, I top fed #1 since the roots are still not in the water. I also removed the humidity shields from #2 and #3 today the ladies were touching the sides so they are done with the extra shields.. 2/21/2024 - Vegetation Week 1 Day 5- Today Morning: I Ensured the PH is in range, I refilled the Humidifiers, I top fed #1 since the roots are still not in the water, Evening: I decided that the roots of the two are looking great so I am going to drain and bump the Nutes to a full Week 1/ Week 2 Nute base. 2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The short one is budding up nicely, but the taller one is still stretching. The short one looks to be considerably more indica than the other. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

Ende ersten Woche Flower und Start der Zweiten, ich hatte wieder ein Problem mit Trauermücken und habe diese jetzt mit Neemöl bekämpft und die erste mit Sand bedeckt. Dadurch trocknet diese nicht so schnell aus und die Mücken können ihre Eier nicht in die Erde setzen, ich hoffe mal, das hilft. Die Pflanzen haben einen mächtigen Schub gemacht und sind min. 10 cm gewachsen, man erkennt schon kleine anzeigen von Härchen. Tag 4 von Woche 8: Heute habe ich das Netz gespannt und stark erlaubt sowie triebe raus genommen die nicht mindestens durchs Netz gingen oder kein Licht bekamen. Ich bin gespannt wie gut die anderen jetzt davon Profitieren werden .

23.10.2025 After applying even more oxygen she really recovered well. Just right in time for flipping into flowering stage. I now added an aqua forte 10 w pump and I think she liked it. She already smells very strong and I'm looking forward to seeing her get into stretch, starting to smell even stronger. 😅, oh, Lord. 24.10.2025 Today I took off some more leaves and she really smells very strong and is sticky already. This little girl is pure fire 🔥🔥🔥.
