What’s growing on everyone?!?! My banana punch plants are about ready to go into flower here this upcoming week. They are just over a foot tall now, I pruned some leaves and stuff that was gonna end up being a waste of time and energy to the plants. Also allowing more airflow to freely come and go between the lower branches to help prevent PM or giving insects anywhere to begin to colonize. The plants are getting some real growers real charge once a week, they seem to be really taking nicely to that. Really happy with the shaping of all these plants so far. 07-10-2021: Bonding is a daily routine right now but that is just as I am used to in second week 12/12. One lady broke, probably to much tension. I fixed her with candle wax, will probably survive that without being slowed down. And if she is slowed down that is not too bad because she grows the fastest of all. Need to remove some leaves one day because light is not penetrating very great as you can see on the pictures. Starting to wonder if the differences between the ladies onder the Mars Hydro are because of the light or because of the strain.09-10-2021 09-10-2021: First signs of early flower are visible😬. I am guessing I switched to 12/12 just in time. Net is almost full, plenty of room for the buds to develop. Nutrients are taken up very fast now. EC is still dropping and PH is still rising so nothing to change. Next week I will raise the CO2 level to 1000 ppm. 11-10-2021: Net is almost full so flowering can start now if you ask me.. Very curious about this round since I am still experimenting with the CO2 and temperature. This night I raise the CO2 level to 1200PPM, just to see what happens. (Yes I can see the impact of these adjustments over one night) 14-10-2021: raised EC to 1.7... Seem to love it. Probably combined with the extra CO2

Lemon Orange already there with some amber trichomes. She is the First to harvest in the next days. The Rest still needs a week or two. Lowering the nutrients a Bit now. The ICC is the prettiest plant i have got so far. BBM insane on the terp side. Hella Jelly quite mid. Not my terpene Profile so far. Lot's more growth! It appears the stretch has mostly stopped. I put my zkittles on a platform to get it more in line with the canopy. The green crack/alaskan diesel really stretched. I have been pruning dying leaves and removed all of the LST. Letting the plants do their thing now that height has been controlled. It's looking like the zkittles will be my first strain available for harvest. Got my humidity down to around 40% after it drys out from watering. Still have a fan blowing air into the tent, and have been rotating the plants too for more even light/ to limit the risk of bud rot. Probably too many plants in my small space. Also noticed the light has always been at 24/0 as I never switched the timer on. Oh well!

New clones just arrived! Starting them off straight into coco coir this time. First transplant today into solo cups. They got a pretty heavy first watering with a PPM of about 425. Hoping to really start them off strong. I will be vegging them for much longer than usual. I typically veg my plants for 4 to 6 weeks and these girls will be vegging for 8 to 9. This grow will be a great chance for me to try some HEAVY plant training techniques.

Days 92 - 98 (from sprout) 8/23/24 - 8/29/24 Loompa's Headband x TK fading hard this week - checking trichome color through a 15x loupe, needs more time The Good Shit drinking a gallon of water a day but slowly backed off near end of week - my guess would be a 14-week flowering period for this genotype before harvest quality I'm pretty much watering daily a 1/4 gallon to Blue Nose Pit or less to keep mulch layer from drying out Sweet 16 S1 takes the win for most trichome coverage out of the garden, has the most up-front aroma out of the geno hunt PAR is all over the place on this one and totally messed up, after this week I'll raise the light and focus on the appropriate PAR for canopy of The Good Shit Pest Management slipping too, fungus gnats are repopulating and it seems the ecosystem has encountered a serious imbalance of beneficials and predators that normally kept soil/mulch in-check Plan on short-term remedying this with a top-dress of remaining compost + em bokashi and a moderate drench of EM5 following with repeated treatments of enzymes (tweetmint) Long term solution may need a predator/beneficials kit and/or higher quality vermicompost after knocking them back with enzymes

Tuesday Last week was a topping week and this week is a transition week as the 2 Grapefruit has been moved to the «flowering » tent which is equipped with the MarsHydro TSL 2000 that is pushing 300w of great 👍 light spectrum with a perfect mix between the différents colors in the spectrum. Just 2 days in the tent and they are already stretching so I feel like this time I’m about to defoliate some of the upper fan leaves 🍁 which is not my cup of tea so let’s see how I’m doing it. Will use the removed leaves to make a leaves tea , which is basically bunch oft leaves that I am leaving in the water for a week in a covered bucket , it’s a great foliar spray when it’s done & I will show you the final Ec after 7 days anse you may be surprised 😲 . Thursday The pictures are from Wednesday and the soil of the girl were fairly dry , the lower leaves started to fade-away. The feeding is still the same around 1.7ec and 5.8ph and around 3/4 times a week , I have some grow mates on GD who are keeping the coco constantly moist but I have some difficulty to do it so I’m using the old school wet/dry cycle of the medium. Btw I’ve changed my feeding for the GHE maxibloom because the PK ratio is higher so good for the flowering stage and still one part nuts + cal/mag Sunday I have found a nutrient tips , I can’t confirm that it’s a good one but it offer me an opportunity to be more lazy 😍 ... don’t worry be happy be lazy . So I discovered that when mixing 10g of Greenhouse Hybrids powder with 20ml of GHE cal/mag in 20L of tap water 💦 then adding some GHE Maxibloom until the Ec get to 1,7/2,8 was almost a Ph perfect formula as my mix ph is 5.9 😊 close from the 5.8 sweet spot SO now I’m gonna mix it like that all the time and check only the runoff PH . We are in the end of pre flowering and the girl will start the full flowering process soon enough but they will keep on stretching because of the MarsHydro Spectrum 😁 Thanks for following 😍
