So they're finally done. Really pretty stuff here and serious nose behind it. Every day it's developed and now it reeks like vanilla and lemon candy. There's a pheno that smells like bubblegum and another smells like a sweeter lemon tree. They're similar smelling but very very different. Makes it fun to sort through. The looks are pretty off the charts too but I don't have to say that. I'm excited to do my first smoke report! May not get to it until everything's done curing but my guess is these are gonna be burning phenomenally. I'm looking forward to getting my keeper and getting some beans of my own soon. Bueno , este es el segundo cultivo que realizó del la cepa "Waka" , el anterior lo tengo igualmente documentado en otro diario . en esta ocasión cultivamos los clones que habíamos recolectado del cultivo pasado , guardando los fenotipos que nos gustaron más y los clones restantes los pasamos a floración que fueron los que se le hizo seguimiento en este diario. El crecimiento fue bastante explosivo y reaccionaron muy bien a cada trasplante realizado . pude observar que los clones de cada fenotipo seleccionado se desarrolló con mucha similitud al de sus madres . El olor en vegetación es bastante discreto y en floración se pone un más intenso El desarrollo en floración fue explosivo generando bastante resina y se vieron muy hambientras . Al fumar se puede sentir un rico toque cítrico en las N° 4 se siente un fuerte sabor a limón en algunas flores mucho mas marcado que en otras, N° 3 y 13 un agradable toque a naranjas muy rico de sentir en el paladar , La N° 8 con pizcas dulces bastante interesantes. El humo al fumar es muy suave lo que permite sentir mejor el sabor de cada fenotipo.- saludos y buenos humos😉 Al momento de cosechar se cortaron los clone y se dejo secando en oscuridad a temperatura ambiente por cerca de 16 días posterior a eso se pasó a curar en frascos

Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.

Gelato been really glowing these last few days. :) just bent her over today and stretched out the lower arms. I'll leave it like this for awhile eventually the arms will all go upwards towards the light along with the main cola to make and even canopy. Or atleast longer arms has worked many times in the past. Defoliated and fully leaf stripped. I am going all out to see what happens. Wedding gelato is a fairly tall plant for my tent and future grows will have to be properly trained and tied down. Live and learn. So far happy with the results from hydro grow. Roots have worked their way into the res so I have added an air bubbler to the submerged roots.

Still not given any food at 35 days since popping. She's growing well and I've put her in a 4ltr pot. I've pinched the top out to slow down the vertical growth.

Flowering time! What a week.. The two girls are getting huge! Realise when seeing this tent of two (!) plants, that you are watching autoflowers! The genetics on these are crazy. With the added training each developt 3 or even 4 fully main stems. The amount of bud sites is just crazy and I'm expecting a big yield. The only nutrientes I used are the boosters from RQS. I just reguarly add these with waters and thats it! Nothing less nothing more. You already see them getting frosty. Really excited and amazed! Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be just starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium and all she'll be getting is straight water from here on out. I watered today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 0.75g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in roughly two weeks +/- but you never know... It always pays to let the trichomes tell you when it's time to harvest, not the breeder as they are only giving an approximate time due to the numerous factors that can affect the time of harvest. 10/10- Well, Week Seven has come, gone and we're one week closer to this girl finishing up! She's so freaking frosty now and starting to fade that she'll be testing my patience this week! I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of next week but we'll monitor her trichomes and let them be the guide... I can't wait! 🤩 I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Day 71 - Starting week 11 off with a bang and love the look and smell of this girl. She’s really starting to fatten up and and need her to start filling in more. Thinking about 2-3 weeks max before she’s ready to chop and looking forward to it. Gave her the first of her week 11 feedings today and might cut her off to just water starting week 12. Day 72 - No big changes or updates. She’s fattening up and filling in beautifully. Will most likely start flushing after the end of this week. Day 73 - Gave her a second feeding today and next one will be Saturday. All is looking great and thinking she’s in track to be chopped at the end of week 13 but will keep and eye on her. Still some clear trichs but a lot of milky in there. She looks gorgeous! Day 75 - Looks great and on track for a chop at the end of week 13. Gave her the last feeding today and will water with straight water and Sledgehammer from here on out to start flushing her out. Day 76 - Closing in on the end of week 11 and she’s just as pretty as ever. Gave her some water today as she seemed to be screaming for it. Will probably do one more week of feedings then flush her with sledgehammer during week 13 and she should be ready for chopping. Day 77 - Ending week 11 and looks great. Have a few leaves showing deficiencies but not sure if it’s because she’s coming to the end of her life or somethings missing. Runoff pH was a little high so worked to correct that today, we’ll see if that helps. If not, she’s only got 2 weeks left.

This week buds started forming 😍i did a massive defoliation by the end of the week. The plant really needed it! Also i just figured out that my AC had an auto mode 😂 better late than never 😅. But i can now make sure that my plant is in the right VPD through the rest of the flowering.

These buds were giants, fat and sticky, the aroma of these plants was very robust with heavy aromas with subtle hints of citrus, fruity sweetness, with hints of sour diesel, I could swim in the smell, these buds just blew me away!
