Day 63 from germination. All 3 plants look and smell amazing. Have about 12 days left before I chop them down. Definitely ended up with 3 very different pheno types. All 3 have a very sweet smell with a hint of diesel. Even though I’m using super soil for these plants. I still like to flush the last 2 weeks. Watering every 4 days and have about 2 watering left.

While not drastic, this slight chill is enough to slow down growth a bit as the plants adapt. Cooler temps can encourage tighter node spacing, but they can also delay development slightly. Here’s how we’re addressing it: Proactive Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on temperature and RH trends to ensure they remain within optimal ranges. Gradual Adjustments: Slowly warming the environment with indirect heat sources if necessary, without shocking the plants. Remember, plants are incredibly resilient—and this slight delay will only make the Croco girls’ eventual growth even more rewarding. Feeding Updates: All in One Pellets & Organic Boost 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone: I introduced Aptus Holland’s All in One Pellets to the soil mix. Here’s how it went down: Preparation: Added a generous dose of the pellets to each pot. Soil Enrichment: Topped the pots with Pro Mix soil, bringing the total soil volume to 1 liter per plant. Feeding Transition: While I did one last watering with All in One Liquid, I’ll now rely primarily on: Regulator (0.15ml/L): To support stress resistance and strengthen cell walls. CalMag Boost (0.25ml/L): For calcium and magnesium supplementation, essential for strong stems and vibrant growth. Start Booster (0.25ml/L): To continue promoting robust root development. The combination of organic pellets and the Aptus liquid lineup ensures the girls have everything they need for a slow, steady nutrient release while maintaining microbial activity in the soil. Watering Technique: Bottom-Up Hydration 💧 This week, I switched to bottom-watering, a game-changer in preventing fungus gnats and promoting healthier root development. How It Works: Water is added to the tray, allowing the soil to wick moisture upwards through capillary action. Advantages: Reduces surface moisture, deterring gnats from laying eggs. Encourages roots to grow deeper as they seek water, resulting in a stronger root system. To further combat gnats, I’ve also placed yellow sticky traps around the pots. This dual strategy—bottom-watering and sticky traps—is already showing promising results. Mutant Marvels: The Funky Leaf Phenomenon 🍃 Each Croco girl is a masterpiece of mutation, with unique leaf shapes and growth patterns. No two plants are alike, and that individuality is part of what makes this grow so exciting. I’m patiently waiting for them to grow large enough to identify their sex. Here’s the plan moving forward: Option 1: Flip to 12/12 Temporarily: A one-week light flip to identify sex, then returning to veg. Pros: Fast and straightforward. Cons: Slight delay in veg growth. Option 2: Clone & Flip: Take cuttings from each plant, root them, and flip the clones to flower. Pros: Preserves the main plants in veg. Cons: Requires additional space and time for cloning. I’ll decide based on how the girls progress over the next week or two. Either way, I’m excited to unlock their potential. Photography: Capturing the Magic 📸 This week, I focused on showcasing the Croco girls’ beauty through a mix of macro photography and behind-the-scenes shots. Using both my Sony and Nikon cameras, I’ve been able to capture intricate details—from water droplet reflections to the delicate veining in their leaves. Why Use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera? Greater sensor size allows for higher-quality images compared to even the latest smartphones. The ability to swap lenses provides flexibility for macro shots, wide angles, and close-ups. Depth of field and manual focus control ensure every shot is intentional and artistic. Lens Choices: Macro lenses (e.g., 90mm) for close-ups of leaf textures and water droplets. Standard lenses (e.g., 50mm) for portrait-style plant shots. While phone cameras like the latest iPhone can take great photos, they can’t quite match the level of detail, depth, and creative control a dedicated camera offers. Moved out in week 3 on 18.04.24

Very good start...

Ladies and gentlemen we are on day 82 and this girl is no more, through the loophole I can't find one clear trichome I understand the white hairs but I also understand the trichomes is what we go by.. also wanted to get her down because I was worried of possible root issues and did not want to ruin such a beautiful little plant.. Divine seeds has some great genetics this thing was topped and in such a small cup handled the training well and rewarded me with what I'm assuming is going to be between 28 and 35 grams so I'm thinking over a gram per ounce of dirt that's not too shabby.. I hope everyone in the contest is doing well and I hope everyone else is doing just as good.. we are all in this together, to be able to grow our own medicine at our own discretion and know what we're smoking is worth its weight in gold.. again big shout out to Divine Seeds for putting together this competition I thought I would do something a little different to stand out by doing a mini pot grow I don't know if it'll get me a trophy or not but it was sure fun growing it and was very beneficial to me in my personal development as a grower.. until next time folks and a month or so I will have the smoke report.. I tried to upload today for another strain and it wasn't working so hopefully grow diaries fixes the bug of not being able to update a smoke report.. happy growing everyone ✌️😎 ladies and gentlemen after 8 days of drying I trimmed her up today and as you can see from the video 46 g or 1.625 Oz which is extremely good considering the small amount of medium... Now I know during the cure I will probably lose around 1/8 of my total weight but still I will be definitely over 40 grams my guess will be at least 42 to 43 .. now for 28 Oz of soil I could not be happier.. between the genetics being great and the plants loving my feeding remedy all has been well.. I want to thank Divine seeds for throwing such an awesome contest and giving us enough time to do it right and also for providing the seeds but not just that they really hooked it up.. Big ups to them and I have more genetics that I will be running from them in the future.. hope everyone is doing well good luck to everyone in the contest and to everyone happy growing ✌️😎

They are going incredibly fast I have removed the nets because it is a lot easier to work instead of crawling under the net I can now just walk through it which makes my life a lot easier in a few days I will remove a lot of leaves and leave them alone for the rest until now I like growing on rdwc very well now that I understand better See you guys next week hope you are doing fine in this weird world

8/31 I harvested Auto Opium today. This is 7-10 days early. I intended to grow her inside the tent, but when she stretched quickly i had to take her outside. This did not give her time to harden off before going fully into flower. Then my area went into extreme heat over 110 for extended weeks. High heat and humidity. She couldn't handle this. Then Hurricane Debby whipped her back and bent her main stem in several places. Repaired with chopsticks and electrical tape. Her limbs were thin and spindly, I tried to support with garden hoops but many stems just bent regardless. One bent and cut off its water & nutrients and died. All in all Auto Opium did not transition well from tent to outside. If I had understood her structure before her grow was underway, I would have done some topping or mainlining. I'm watching several growers demonstrate training techniques that I will try. You know you you are. Many thanks to you. We had some cooler nights in the last week or so which allowed leaf color changes from lime green💚 to purples💜 and some reds. I see some lavender in her buds. Trichomes are mostly milky white, so a bit early. Harvest shows, many long, hollow stems which couldn't support her own weight. To be eco-friendly, you could use these for beverage straws 😅. Начал применять LST технику на 19 дне и продалжаю применять её через день, а 18 августа добавил ДЕФОЛИЗАЦИЮ С 20.08 ДЕФОЛИЗАЦИЮ делаю каждые 3,4 дня С 20.08 LST технику делаю каждые 4.6 дней На сегодняшний день влажность 54% 5.09.2023 заметил высокий Ph 7.9 С 48 дня Ph не ниже 5.8 На сегодняшний день Ph 6.0 Начал кормить с 60 дня Canna Terra Vega PPM 550 Погладитель влажности хорошо справляется со своей задачей. Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! 25/06/2021 (F DAY 28) Se agregó unos 5L de comida en modo top dress. Se agregó harina de todo tipo, humus, compost, microkashi, bokashi, guano, etc. La flora viene muy bien y los olores son muy intensos y sabrosos. Sweet Cheese: Posee el desarrollo de flora mas rápido, lleno de tricomas y con un aroma intenso a queso. Black Afghalien: Posee un característica muy particular de pistilos super finos, el olor a incienso con resinas es increíble. El color característico negro de la black está apareciendo al mes de flora con el descenso de la temperatura. Pomelo Haze: Es la flora más lenta pero sin duda alguna es uno de los mejores terrenos que poseo en esta carpa. Tiene bastante distancia internodal y muy poca ramificación.

I did a low wet trim, and saved the trimming for butter and oil. I dried in a mesh for 12 days, then kept in mason jars and burped them.

Day 1 of flower

This plant is problematic. First of all, the Calcium deficiency is back whereas I feed her correctly and her siblings (GBK+OGK) don't suffer from this, so I assume she doesn't like the light as much as the other strains do, and she probably had too much light for the last weeks so I raised the plant-to-lamp distance, this should slow down her cal+mag consumption, let's see how this goes. Secondly, she stopped stretching, she will remain a short plant, and considering the number of colas on the manifold I built, things will become tricky. I'm already afraid of mold during late flowering, but I will keep a close eye on her and may remove some colas if she doesn't get enough air. Finally, she doesn't drink a lot. I'm a bit confused since I did proceeded to seedling selection and gave her good cares and much love. Wait and see, hopefully she will give some tasty frosty buds 😎 Thanks for stopping by!

OMG OMG OMG finding hard to put on words all i am felling with this one, she was a delight to grow and without trying yet her medicine she wen strait to my top 3, i mean super strong Mama, strong to everything pests you name it, amazing structure her terpene profile is taking me back to the 90s with her almost like gasoline smell mixed with limes and pines OMG cant wait to try out this one much but much respect to DutchPassion on this creation of them she is so so so , like glue that you cant touch without getting it everywhere <3 <3 haded the last 3 weeks and harvest time-lapse i fell like this one could have gone more than the 71 days in flower that she did, but there is no time for that in this run but i will run her again thats for sure and a must for me. Apologies for not updating last week, I have just been really busy! These last couple of weeks have been great - her growth is coming along very well. There are no signs of any deficiencies as of yet, what is your opinion! In regards to defoliating and lollipopping - what growth would you suggest I get rid off?

Now that you are all caught up, we are in week three a flower. I just gave them a top dress feet of Gaia green just blown because I still have just a little bit up all purpose in there but other than that I look at them every morning, give a big smile and turn on their favorite Mosark album
