This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Update 2017-08-20. These girls are much slower to germinate and to start growing than the other 6 girls I started at the same time. One of the germinated seeds split in half, so I had to take a new seed and germinate it. It took 2 days. It was just a smal taproots after germination with this strain as opposed to my Fastbuds cbd. Been a rough week with temperature and humidity as well as starting the flush probably half a week early. Hopefully back to smooth sailing for the final couple of weeks. Just as long as it doesn't get much hotter outside .

End of week 8 for medusa 1/5. Plant is looking beautiful with the LST. I will reduce thd nutrients week by week from now, ensuring for a clean finish without flushing. I still feel the veg time for these genetics are too short for big yields. I reckon it will yield around 60 grams. 2/5 was topped and will yield more by the looks of the amount of shoots compared to 1/5. Check my other diaries for the entire experiment. Watering 3L every 2/3 days Smell is very strong now. It will probably be ready in 3 weeks time

Dark spots, bugs and problems in general

begins to show the first groups of pistils

We have made it to the end of Week 6. Conditions in the tent have improved DRAMATICALLY. The heat wave has finally passed and the temperature has finally leveled out. Not only that, the super weird monsoon weather that we were having has also passed and now the humidity is not rising above 60%. This turn for the best is really showing and also fixing the pH problem I had also probably helped a lot. Going to push the PPM a little more this week, between 750-850 The color of the buds is really coming through now, especially in the pineapple express and zkittles. The melonsicle seems to be growing much more like a traditional sativa. I feel it's about a week behind schedule with the rest of the plants. It seems to be on a true 9 or 10 week tract at this point. I think the blue gelato is going to be a bust in terms of yield. It just got heavily over shadowed by the other three plants from the beginning. It has stayed quite small and I am not sure it will yield heavily. Hopefully the smoke is quality and I will be impressed enough with my first Barney's Farm experience to try again.

So far so good. Btw the are naturally became healthy after moving in country side with bunch of friendly biocontrol insects. The environment is also perfect. She grow so fast

4/27 Day 1 of flower. Both are showing white pistil hairs so I’ll start counting flower as of today. They were getting pretty bushy so I went and did some defoliation and reworked them into the trellis net. I did accidentally supercrop one of the tops while doing that so hopefully it isn’t too much stress to cause a herm. Light at the highest point is now 630 PAR / 27.2 DLI. 5/3 Day 7 of flower. With the humidity getting much higher with spring here I decided to do another round of defoliation to keep things airy and spaced out. The fungus gnats are back in numbers so I’m trying a new approach with the sticky pads. I’m covering the entire top part of the pots to hopefully prevent them from going anywhere. Even if it doesn’t completely wipe them out it should at least keep them away from the buds as they start forming.

Update

Noticed that on one plant leaf tips are curled down and some of them are yellowish. As I am giving them enough nutrients and using ph perfect advanced nutrients it still may be the ph because these nutrients are meant for hydroponic system. Thinking that they might have a nutrient excess because how dark green they look. After topping their growth have stunted a bit but it’s normal. Overall they seem very healthy

This plant is very close to being done, I am going to be looking at the Trichomes in a couple of days,, They are starting to Cloud up now and should be done very soon. I am happy I got a couple of plants this cycle as the Central Illinois temps are unpredictable in Winter and spring.....

I harvested just under an ounce from each of the two plants grown in 4ltr pots.

Was a little bit challenging for me, due to the outdated nutrients table, mostly on the Flowering period, also little thing like i have to fill more the pots, also with this kind a strain and also with cuts instead of seeds, may be is better to don't do the topping and don't loose time and energy on the vegetative period. At the same time, more or less about the 8th week of flowering it starts to appear something like Alternalia or Overfeed of Phosphor still don't sure. All this issues have impact the grow in terms of the size of the branches and the whole plant, the size of the buds and the hardness. In strictly terms about the strain, the quality is out of mind, amount of resin is crazy, just have to improve my skills and get bigger crops

It’s been 7 days and one of my amnesia hazes is getting yellowish spots on it not 100% sure what’s the issue im going assume it’s too much water? Confused cause the other have same soil and every same amount of water and don’t have those issues I have the light right now about 1.5 ft away from the plants moved the light down I felt like they was stretching and becoming real skinny been keeping the temp about 75 and humidity somewhere around the 60% also I used fishshit today in the watering hopefully that’s helps The sour diesel I’m pretty sure I dropped the seed to deep my mistake so I removed a little soil until I seen top of it and now it’s looking like it might make it it just a little behind the amnesia haze The two in red solo cups (black Truffles) are growing pretty fast looking bit better then the amnesia haze and I found them seeds lol anyway if you looking and see anything that could help (Please do!!!) also if your using ac Infinity controller 69 I need help!!! Today the first time I messed with it to make make the 18/6 schedule and not 100% sure if I did it right yet I wanted to make it on 5am-11pm off the other 6 I had it on 24/7 all last week and not sure is that caused the yellowing or not I doubt it but I’m NEW and I’m not sure I’m a YouTube university grad 😂😂 But yea thanks for looking and I’ll try to post more day D14

Venga familia que ya viene la cosecha de estas Tropical Zmoothie de Seedstockers, que ganas que tenia ya de darles machetazo. No veas que pinta que tienen estas plantas. Las flores aparte se ven bien resinosas. a sido una genética con la que disfruté mucho cultivarla, es algo complicada cultivarla pero merece la pena si eres cultivador con experiencia no te será problema cosechar.
