as it is so important to let the plant develop its roots, i wait a few weeks to do the first topping so the plant has better conditions to recover. The topping helps to stimulate the growth of the plant itself. This method may "stress" the plant but actually stimulates it. But doing this we are delaying its growth, that is, it takes a little longer. But no problem! 🌱Here I am with 4 seedlings of this pretty strain. It's so slow at the start of new crops...but these seedlings look healthy to me, I can't wait to see what they will have to offer me!🙏🤞 After a short week of growth I place my seedlings in their final 7Liters pot with a mixture that I made. I use unfertilized soil as a base.🌱 And I add organic nutrients from GreenHouseFeeding that I mix at the top of the pot (35Grams BioGrow 14Grams Biobloom). Then I water each pot with 1L of water.💧 I use tap water. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6,9, & 11 Opium is a vigorous lady. She will be my glamor girl. She is taller and has the typical sativa structure and has space between the nodes. There is not much leaf growth, so I don’t defoliation much. Her nodes are close but starting to spread out a bit. Raised the height of the grow lights and highed the light output, threw all the autos into one tent for the time being as they love lfe in there over than in the cupboard! but ill get around to making the cupboard I have spare into a space to grow again. All.of the plants are doing great really, one purpe punch isnt doing to well im going to flush her then feed half the dose of nutes that i have been already feeding her. 💚🤘

End of week 4 and I have a bit more to report this week. On day 22 I topped this girl and she was a little slow to react, turns out my thermometer was in a bad spot and the girls were getting hammered by the heater 🤦‍♂️ lesson learned. Since re-positioning the thermometer they have bounced back and happy as Larry again, thank goodness. On day 27 i had brewed up my first compost tea and fed them a bit more than usual. The tea had a cup of Herbi's brew starter, a cup of work castings and a cup of organic compost. They loved it. I used the remains as a top dress afterwards. Today, on day 28, I defoliated and started LST, she's praying to the lights right now and I'm stoked! Hope you've all had a good week and thanks for checking in 🙏

1/14: Fed today. The Cheese is getting fat and reeking with a funky odor! The Zkittlez and Bubbleguns are fattening nicely as well, but they smell more like candy. 1/18: Fed today and rearranged. Increased UVB exposure by another 30 mins per day 1/21: Fed today.

yeh, forgot to add the new week the other day. Oh well. Didn't miss much of anything. Timelapse for the last week starts us off here, as usual will update as the week goes on if anything notable happens. -3/14/2021 - Been slacking off on progress updates and pictures. However, progress has been damn good. Recovery from topping is over and the plants have adjusted to the new pot sizes.

I moved my fastbuds plants under my new ELUFAH UAP-1500… from the start this light seems like it’s way more than 50 watts brighter than my other light. This light is going to be amazing. I’m already loving it. Can’t wait for grow pros to release more products from ELUFAH… Papapayton is doing great it’s at that stage it’s about to explode in a week or so

D47 - 11.2 - <3 Not too much to report. She's drinking more and growing a lot. D49 - 11.4 - Loved the foliar spray I gave at lights out yesterday.

Starting to get a bit hot in my area so I'm not sure if the autumn hues will show up as prevalent as before. But she's still kicking ass, doing her thing. We'll see.. I've just been feeding her liquid seaweed and molasses. I plan on throwing in 1 more dose of recharge by the end of the week. That should supplement the microbe content. I'm also planning on using overdrive on her the last two weeks. So two weeks from now. Other than that, I've been feeding 2-3 times per week with 1 pH 6.5-6.8 watering on in-between days. I also wanted to mention that I'm a little worried one of my Banana daddies infected this girl with pm. So I'm keeping an eye out for that. Read on an article that spraying the spores with pH 8+ water kills and prevents it from forming. So I've been spraying her every night when the lights are out, then pumping the fans on high. Seems to be doing the trick, haven't seen any spores on her yet... but I digress, 👀 on her til' she's for sure in the clear. I'm so glad i got my perpetual grow dialed in. I've swap outs well-vegged and ready to go when the time comes. Blessings on everyone who stumbled upon my garden. I hope you all have dope harvests 😎

April 16th - Day 59 : Today is Spa day. Did a major defiliation throughout the whole tent. They're pretty much on autopilot from now on.. April 19th - Day 62 : Look at theses beauties. Reacting well to the heavy defoliation. The smell is getting a bit stronger. Didn't do much but water.

What can I say this was my largest single yield harvest to date - The BlackBerry OG from Emerald Triangle Seeds are worth growing and just be prepared to have a load of bud to trim, there are other strains that are east to trim than this one, it was laced with sugar leaves and took a while to trim up,, it was in the dry tent for 15 days, honestly I was worried and should have trusted my instinct and left it in longer, this may have made it easier to clean.. If you do not buy this stran and give it a try you are missing out!
