And let me tell you, in the world of autoflowers, the second week of flowering is like the equivalent of a plant's teenage years. They're growing so fast, trying to figure out who they are and where they fit in, and just generally being a little rebellious. But with Cosmos, it's like she knows exactly what she's doing. She keeps throwing these three beautiful little shoots for each node, and they're just thriving! It's like she's saying, "Hey world, look at me! I'm growing like crazy and I'm not afraid to show it!" All in all, the second week of flowering with Cosmos has been an absolute joy. I can't wait to see what the next few weeks have in store for us. Who knows, maybe she'll surprise us with some even more incredible growth and beauty. One thing's for sure, with a plant like Cosmos, anything is possible! Okay, this week, we saw another wonderful week with this young lady. She has recovered so well from Last weeks topping on Tuesday, that her final topping actually occurred this today (sunday). 12 days to recover and grow 4 nodes and 3" of horizontal stretch. Also, thanks to Bloombuster, I was able to math out how much veg growth left I had available before I risk getting too tall for the tent. Using his math, my measurements, and a little playing around, What we have so far is this 2" Of Height to the 1st topping, 3" of length to the 2nd topping, 3" of length to the 3rd topping That gives me currently 8" Of Growth, only 2" of which have been used vertically. I have 25" To work with total plant height, allowing 15" between plant and light at the light's maximum height. So with those numbers in mind, I crunched it, put it in excel, played around, and came out with 5" of growth left available to me vertically I am working with an estimate of 140% additional growth during bloom cycle. As such, we will multiple by 2.4, Original Plant Size and New Growth Included. Math works out as 2" + 6" = 8" + 5" = 13" x 2.4 = 31.2 - 6" = 25.2" So if I am correct, which happens from time to time, I can let he grow to a total of 7" High, 5" higher during veg before I am wise to go to bloom. I estimate this means, watching her previous recovery and growth, I will be putting her to flowing within the next 3 weeks.

Plant 1: This was the highly trained and defoliated plant. It stayed the shortest and doesn't have very dense nugs likely because of its distance from the lights given the height of plants 2 and 3. Ended up with 2.5oz after 9 days of hanging. Plant 3: This was the second most highly trained plant. Not as much tying down so has some height. Nugs are more dense than plant 1. Ended up with 3.2oz after 10 days of hanging. OMG!!! Plant 2: dried and jarred. Final weight... 10.6oz!!! that's a total of 16.4oz for 3 autos! I'm so pumped...🤯😍🤘🤓📉00

11/30: I harvested the first 6 today, flushed 5 more for the second time, and fed everybody else for the last time. I washed all the branches using the 4-step method ascribed by Doc Bud at High Times/420magazine and many other notable cannabis connoisseurs, with slight modifications: 4 x big plastic totes/bins 8 x ounces of 12% hydrogen peroxide (or 32 ounces of 3%) 2 x cups of concentrated lemon juice 2 x cups of baking soda 10 x gallons of water in each bin Unless your tap water stinks, you're safe to use tap water for the procedure, but I used an inline carbon hose filter to fill my buckets. Bin #1 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the hydrogen peroxide Bin #2 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the lemon juice and baking soda Bin #3 - 10 gallons of water as hot tap water Bin #4 - 10 gallons of cold tap water I was mainly concerned about removing as much lint and cat/dog hair as possible, but also rinsing off any residue left from all the various foliar applications of humic/fulvic acid, kelp, axiom, big bloom, and tiger bloom I did. First, I put my leaf blower on low speed and blasted my plants thoroughly, one at a time, replicating 50-60mph winds for about 10 seconds and watched as a whirlwind of debris and hair flew out the back door. Bud-washing: Pluck any necrotic plant material and any old fan leaves off while they're still on the plant. Then, take a handful of branches and submerge them in Bin #1 for about 30 seconds, agitating it, removing from water, submerging again, agitating, etc...then remove it and let it drip out for a few seconds...then repeat the process with Bins #2-4. Let it drip dry overnight with a little bit of airflow, then dry as you normally would...baskets, boxes, etc.. I hadn't watered these plants in a few days, so they were almost in draught, but after doing this procedure, they were fully hydrated(turgid) and seemed to have brighter colors than before. Nice!😍 12/1: The bottom part of the closet seems empty with only 9 plants in there.. 😟 I cut the harvested plants up and put them into drying baskets in the top of my closet with a small oscillating fan on. I've got the temperature fluctuating between 68f and 75f and the RH is staying between 48% and 52%. To do that, I had to take down the small light in the top of the closet to fit the drying baskets up there. So, I moved the 3 shorter plants still up there down to the bottom and put them on top of buckets. Now the bottom of the closet looks full again!😃 I'm anxious to finish up this grow so I can get busy growing the Fastbuds Fast Flowering Photo Testers!!! When I harvest the next 5, I'll flush the remaining plants really well and that will be all the flushing they'll get..I'll let them dry back out for a few days and harvest them. I've got to make some minor improvements to the garden (adding UV, blue and red/far red booster panels and intake fans) That should put me on track to start germinating them by mid-December if all goes well. 12/3: ...early a.m... The harvested plants are already dry!?!?? And have excellent texture??? Wow..bud washing is for real..roughly 48 hours after I hung them to drip dry, and 40 hours after I put them in baskets in 50% RH/70f conditions with moderate airflow...usually takes 4 or 5 days to get a good slow-dry in the same conditions, so I'm convinced that this must be attributed to the bud-washing procedure. I'm sold! Mandarin XL autoflower is growing great. She is really stalling on going into flowering, but it looks like she is gonna put her first pistils out at any moment. She started showing a big fluctuation in the ph. Which is also a sign I have noticed that she is shifting gears. She will get a solution change in the next few days. She looks super healthy on the Gen1:11 organo-mineral nutrition. I defoliated her and been keeping up on lst. Nothing else to report at the moment. Day 63 flowering (77 days since flip). This lady smells beautiful now. Her pistils are golden orange in so much of her bud but still pushing last ditch attempts to save herself. Bud size is good and they are rock solid too. love this girl and will be sad to cut her down. Yellowing off nicely ready to eat up those chlorophyll stores in the darkness. She will be in her dark period this evening , 48 hrs and she is going to be trimmed and ready to dry. UPDATE☆☆ day 67 and she is out of her dark period trimmed and hanging for her final harvest. Some great buds on her and i think about 6 oz of solid , orangey nugs. cannot wait to try her out.

It was a heavy week! Topped and FIMmed my O.G’s, I have no clue if I even did it right since I just topped of the newest node. Gorilla’s seem to be taking a little longer, they are super nice and dense little bushes! Nice dark green tho! 👨‍🌾🏻 Dropped the light on them a few times and burned off a few leaves had to cut off pretty much 25% off a monkey but doesn’t seem to affect it at all.. 1 OG has clear ladyparts sticking out all over, it’s also by far the best grower out of the 8, hope the rest of the plants show some signs soon 😏 I’m impatient. * End of the week update Did lst and it looks like I stepped on my plants.. they are doing fine no worries it just looks terrible 🐘 The gorilla’s are looking beautiful! Dark green and lush! What do you guys think about the OG that’s already getting so many pistons did it start flowering already??

(The numbers of this harvest are from a single plant) I ended REAL ORGANIC and let plants dry by themselves on their pots outside the tent and gradually day after day i was picking and selecting dry buds from the branches 2 smoke m all! This particular diary gave me a sense of adventure, and a lot of fun, i´ll always remenber that made my quareentine a lot easier to live, by that time i felt i was prepared even for the end of the times if it comes to that 😂

She’s been in flush around 15 Days now, nothing super heavy. Lower leaves starting to fade slightly and she’s still fattening up. Will let her start to fade before I decide on doing anything at all. Her trichomes are mainly cloudy with an amber here and there.
