Another week of Veg gone and trying to understand feeding.... My last grow (the one on the balcony) i overwatered at the start so I made sure this time I would not make the same mistake. I dgave a bit more root booster and found some organic Molasses that i added to the 1st feeding. I know its now considered 'food' but more as an activator of microbes in the earth but I'm sure it can't hurt right? Quite some growth this week, so tried to LST it down a bit... Buuuuut I'm not happy with it, I can forsee spacing problems (should have maybe planted the seeds off-set to one side of the pot to get a better growth going....I'll probably undo the tie-down and just let it grow.

Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.

The funky one has the biggest new growths coming out of the nodes this is week 6 some ph damage from acccaidental un Ph neem mix that I use I forgot to ph but that was about right after the begging of week 5 doing good now looking less ph burned and the new growths are getting big . In week 7 the 12 plants have filled out the space inside the HOMEBOX grow-tent very nicely and therefore its time to switch to flowering. I change the timer, which I put infront of the supply of my SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs, to 12/12 hours of light/darkness. This will induce the flowering of my babies and they can start to develop buds. The BIO NOVA nutrients work very well, which can be seen in the nice healthy green color of the plants. I follow the SOIL-CULTIVATION chart from the BIO NOVA website, but use only half the recommended dose, because my tap-water already has a very high EC-value of 0,8 when it comes out of the faucet. Since I have used REGULAR seeds for THE PURPS from BC-BUD-DEPOT, I have to check for males on a regular basis. Two plants show clear male pollen-sacks already now (see above in video) and have to be culled right away. I cut the plants off at the main stem right above the soil and take away the plants and throw them into the trash right away. This way I make sure NO pollen can mature inside the male pollen-sacks and be released later and inseminate my babies on accident. In the places of the male PURPS plants, I put a MAC and KK-plant into the AUTOPOT-system, so all 12 placed are filled again. Now its time to wait until the first flowers start to appear. 👍😎

08/25/2020 Did some defoiliating more pistils popping out all over.

So please don"t trip out on this. I know my conditions are not accurate or my nutrient amounts. Lost my notebook with all my notes on this grow. All I have are the pics which I'll post. The dates of the pics may not correspond with the weeks in the diary. Kids, make sure you keep up to date if you are going to keep a diary online and keep a written one. I definitely learned my lesson. Several weeks of notes on 5 different strains lost. Well enjoy the pics at least.

I did a lot of defoliation work this week. Plants look very naked now. 😻 But more light for the buds 😛 = Less leaves = less water (-25%) The plants don't make many few new flowers anymore. Plants have nice fat buds, swelling and getting hard. 💪 Pistils turn brown.

Die Woche über haben sich die Blüten weiter entwickelt. Die Trichome wurden mehr und man fängt an erste Terpene zu riechen. Wir haben Donnerstag (BT 21) stark entlaubt und schauen jetzt wie die Pflanzen wachsen. Wir gießen weiterhin durchschnittlich alle 4 Tage 1,5 L

Water change day .. Drinking. 2000 ml each per day.. So 6 days on the nute change... ******************* 2 Buckets done .. 5 Left . I may leave the caramel cream autos until tomorrow , they are drinking slightly less per day , but the big girls are drinkers for sure .... So getting better at mixing nutes, bought giant bag of disposable droppers, god damn so much easier for me . I have visual impairment, and shaky hands from the brain tumors. The visual impairment is bad, but the shakes come and go . I normally get a few good rips on the Dr Dabber Switch before i start to help. But the mixing went much better . less mess and i simply pitched the pipette after each use . YEs i know wasteful .... but for me , for now its what i have to do. 1 pipette for each nute for each bucket, they are cheap enough. This way not contaminating anything, and at the amount im mixing, 3 mils - 20 mils each . Biggest problem i have, and i guess maybe not a bad problem ... I have 4 girls on one side of the 4x9 tent, and 3 on the other. The four on the one side are all Glue Gelato Autos and my lord I can not get to the back left side bucket at all with the amount of foliage. So moved a bucket to the other side to allow me to drop in a pail to do a siphon out and refill. See pictures... So I am 10000% upgrading to the 13 gallon x 8 fall ponic system after this grow ..... THANK GOD the caramel cream autos are half the size and 1 of the glue gelatos is slightly smaller on the right to allow me to move around the tent slightly, and im a lean dude.... But i am surprised each day when i check the progress just how far they have come for my first try ... Still have low expectationsfor crops and yields , but am loving the time learning and getting to know hydroponics. I TOTALLY get when the OG growers say just listen to them they will tell you what they need, legit all i have done is feed, maintain enviroment and observe. positive i can not make the same moistakes i made so far net time just by learning my lessons and understanding better the purpose for each Nute and how to spot when the plants are asking for them . 7/11/21 - Day 50! We are almost there! Started feeding it straight water until harvest. The nutrients have done their job and they look really good. 7/12/21 - Leaving for vacation and we have someone watering for us. I will try to update it daily while on vacation. They looks so good. Dense and fat nugs all over the place. 7/13/21 - Looking good! They are almost done. We can’t wait to harvest when we get back from vacation. 7/14/21 - Looking very good! Only a couple weeks before we chop them. 7/15/21 - Back from vacation and got to inspect the plants for myself. They are awesome! VERY dense and smell great. I can see it has another week or so left. I’m just giving it water until harvest. 7/16/21 - Almost time… We aren’t going to jump the gun. Conditions are perfect so we will be patient. (Two new videos added today). We are going to chop on day 60-63. 7/17/21 - We will be chopping in 6 days. They are on track. We are very excited. Check out all the pics and vids above!
