I'll keep the RH in the room @ 50% for the first 24hrs., then raise it to 55-60% for the remainder of the drying. I have the temperatures in the Dry Room at a constant 65℉ to help preserve the terpenes. Hopefully she'll take 10-12 days to dry to the point that she's ready to be trimmed and jarred! Welcome to my MilkyWay F1 Auto Diary, Untopped VS topped. Results are in. Days 71-82 ripening 0-13 week 11&12 Went well. She did bulk up a tad. But not much. They spent most their lives under a 100w. But, the bud is really dense all over. No larf, at all. Its a really good quality of bud I'm getting from both phenos. As far as ToppedVsUntopped well, that result is in. With a seeds used from the same pack (same parent) making true F1s as they need to be from the same batch. It why we all got different phenos, and those who ran more than 1, from their seeds, the phenos are very close. One of mine had more of a fade and looks more purple. Both smell very lovely & fruity. Nice trichome production with very dense but, rather small buds if I do say so. But the grade itself is very high. (As grade is not rated on size) overall both turned out very similar. Even fade wise, they've both developed a lovely colour finishing under high co2 environment with the SE5000 really has brought out a lot of fade i normally do not get. look at the start. It was only a few days under this light and the past 14 days they've both popped. I will also say. A lot of their life was spent under a 12-12 (3/5s of flowering). Topped VS Untopped pheno 2 & 1 Are very similar as I've stated this area will be filt in with harvest comments. Bud smell. How the dry went. And after a weeks cure. I'll rate it. So watch this space. These 2 phenos have been on just water for 10 days. I did a quick run off test. Got back 145ppm my tap is 110. So, they're good to go. Trichome wise. 95% cloudy 30-35% amber. (Hard to see, I'll try get pics with my scope) but, as you see. Both are fully ripened. Anymore and its just bud deg. Both plants leaves are showing end of life. Some are dying. (I'VE BEEN WATCHING THESE LEAVES AND SEEN THEY'VE BEEN DEAINED, ITS NOT BR) Lights The SE5000 was used for the Ripening phase. With high temps and co2 i pushed my boundaries and got a lovely fade reaction from doing so. How I know its down to this light as I've put my Runtz under it. And as soon as I did. It developed fade. My Frosted G even started getting light purple on its sides. The temp in tent has been pushed to 31-33c (that's not leaf temp as I've fans blowing on my plants, and that lowers surface temps by a few degrees.) They've been on 17hrs of high powered light. At 25-30cm id no choice. My temps are mad high this time of year. Harvested Both plants are been pult they're getting their last few hrs. You'll then see the last few pics in a few hrs. I'll get bud shots later, smoke reviews and then to be fair. I'll then mark it by the GD rating system. As I do with all my strains. (So I've 2-3 wk delay in my diaries as they're Harvested, mostly) both plants I'll try push them as far as I can through the drying process whole. But, as I'm dealing with high temps. Lower RH and a fastercl dry is pref to a longer dry in hot conditions might not make sense, but 30+ hot weather harvests, I've got this down. Mind you only this round all my other hot harvests some took a few weeks to rid the hay smell. This avoids it and locks in potency. Most of the drying is done by leaving the plant in the substrate just before the plant goes for itself for fluids. 4-5 day dry as opposed to 5-6 day dry with weed that loses half its stenght. (dry harvesting look it up) Thanks to James from RQS, although I know everyone and their sister got the offer for these seeds I am defo going to be trying more from RQS, if it's buying. I'll get round to it, and depending on the quality of smoke it might be soon. If its a real nice auto, I'd love to try a fem of theirs for my winter crop in October. But, that'll depend. I've lots I want to buy & try.. and when favs are found. I'll invest. I would like to thank everybody for the activity this diary has gotten. Its possibly one of my most active diaries I've done without a harvest. And that's in no short means down to all the views and likes from you guys. And for sure I will fully complete it, with results on the smoke Quality from both phenos, if it varies, but, results thus far, structure wise they're shockingly similar. Scary so. Topping has very little affect to the structure. She grew a main cola. But both phenos, turned puples I will say the topped one was a more troublesome plant. Maybe that had a role onin its morphology. And maybe it'll affect the bud also. The topped was more demanding nutrient wise, and drank more. Maybe to support a more even bud load. (I've yet to do a through inspection, but on the VS front, it's kinda in the air about quality, structure wise, it had very little difference. Look for yourself at the heights are 3-4cm dif) lots still to come. And I'll update it soon with more results. Alle drei Damen wurden geerntet. (Hier zu Amnesia Haze) Am Ende haben die Blüten noch mal ordentlich zugelegt und wurden schön prall. Auch war die Blütenzeit kürzer als erwartet und die Trichome hatten sich nach 10 Wochen schön ausgebildet. Die Blüten sind schön Harzig und den Duft finde ich sehr angenehm.

Dealing with a heavy heat wave. Try to do my best cooling the girls but temp rise up to 31 degrees:( most of the time I keep on 28 degrees. the girls so far are fine. As usual I give them twice ph6 water and the third with bio nova nutrients half of the recommended amount

Day 8: All settled in and game for the grow now. Six shooter is a lanky looking lady with longer leaves than the other two girls. She has a sativa look to her already !. lol shebis on her 3rd set and possibly 4th at a pinch Strawberry pie is the smaller of the group in overall size so far with her leaves resembling the six shooter. onher 4th set of nodes Mexican Airlines is a broad leaved girl indeed. lots of area to power those growth spurts hopefully . All around 2 inches tall and now directly under the sp3000 with the room fan keeping them dancing. Lets hope they are thick stemmed ,multi noded ,monsters next week!!!. With their position in the room , they will be trained but not to keep their height down as they are next to a tall lady and need to keep the light up. Be safe Growmies.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Things are going good.... POOL is FULL..... I have transplanted everything in the greenhouse. Some in soil.... I know soil??? Wtf have I lost my mind.... Banner 1,2, and 3 have not shown sex... so we will wait... Slurricane is pretty... but small... her clone's 2 are in soil.. 1 is in perlite, and it is in a circle. I did it for fun because she is a B***H... Haha no strings attached..... We wait on Fire OG, and Foul Mouth both are female... we are waiting for some flowers to arrive. I'm starting to flush Shiskaberry and Blue Gelato 41. Today ... I'm smoking the Gorilla Zkittles.... I am really pleased with taste and high. In the greenhouse flowering right now is 6 strains.... mostly clones... but 8 separate pheno's... fuck I'm even confused... hahaha..everything is labled.... most have dates on them... I will have to try to go back on foul mouth and fire OG to find out when I started flowering them..... shit.... I will know when there done... hahahahahaha I have so much in veg... 25 plants.. 14 strains... so like I said... "The Pool is Full"...... If anyone can help with that Magnum, also I’m starting a new grow diary on the GSC next week when they get bigger. I also having issues with drainage to measure the ppm in all plants. I’m skipping a week of nutrients, I’m worried I don’t know what I’m doing and I don’t want to kill the two good looking plants

10/31: I fed today with one, signal, sweet & sticky, beastie bloomz, and silica. Another batch of top-shelf genetics from Spliff Seeds. They are super frosty, fattening nicely, and smell delicious. One of the MWK's has a lot of purples in her lower flowers...sexy.👍 11/4: Fed with one, signal, sweet & sticky, beastie bloomz, silica, and humic acid. Really in love with the big Moonwalker Kush...such a pretty plant....and her sister ain't too shabby either. Neither Strawberry put on much height, but every branch on them will produce some fatass buds with absolutely zero training...excellent candidate for a single-strain SOG. Amnesiacs protest with too much PAR or UVB...same with the LCK..their foliage is suffering a bit...
