Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. During the tenth and final week of the flowering stage, the plants exhibited excellent development in both overall size and bud density. Although a reddish pigmentation was initially expected, the calyxes developed dark, almost black tones, resulting in a visually striking appearance. The RHC#1 phenotype displayed a greener foliage, with leaves beginning to show subtle reddish hues at the tips, providing an appealing contrast. The dominant aroma profile combines strong cheese-like notes with sweet, fruity undertones, which are expected to intensify during the curing process. Irrigation was carried out only during the first three days of the week, using water adjusted to a pH of 6.3. The plants were then kept in darkness for the final two days to promote the final maturation of the trichomes. At present, the flowers are undergoing a controlled drying phase, with stable humidity and temperature parameters. The cultivation process was completed without any significant issues, and the overall results are highly satisfactory, reflecting a successful execution of the growth cycle.

Starting to green back up and grow, getting bushy agian, continue with defoliation and LST. Raised the light some, lowers my dli but I want it to stretch some...snapped branches are still healing and have some new growth.

She has also gained a few cm again :-) Today I have downstairs the shoots removed so that the upper ones get more energy :-). This week it was poured twice with 1.2 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). The plant has been checked for health and everything has been cleaned. In week 3 I continued with the LST, but the plant showed more and more of its namesake genetics and grew into a kind of lettuce head. So towards the end of the week I started to remove a few leaves to improve aeration and light exposure. Additionally i slowly started incresing the power of the LED to about 75%.

On to week seven of flower. She is fattening up nicely. She is starting to showing some signs of defiancey. She has some heat stress going on from being to close to the light. LED's still put off heat. Trichromes are still overwellmingley clear. Hopfully she will be done in 14 days or so...

🗓️ 6.4.2026 - Ich musste mein Mädchen außer Planmäßig ernten, da sie gezwittert hat. Ich werde versuchen soviel Samen als möglich zu entfernen. Jetzt soll sie erstmal trocknen und dann sehe ich weiter. Beim Trimmen habe ich schon zahllose Samen entfernt. Ein harter Schlag und ich habe es erst so spät bemerkt. 😔

the girl is starting to grow faster :) in a suitcase, there is not much fresh air, so I think she doesn't like it, we'll see what happens next:)

What can I say but wow this is the star of my grow room she has it all , stress tested , heat , cold , drought lol just a monster . The team at dinafem have created some thing special here she eats a lot and has the nicest colour around . Day 64 - 30/12/19 yo whats up folks, hope you all had a good christmas, apologies for no updates over the last month i took a little break to rest up and get started again fresh! everything has been going great over the last month, i smoked my last plant all over christmas and it improved my mental health so much. anyways on to the final weeks of the diesel auto. when the plant went into flowering its constantly had minor issues with leaves yellowing and falling off. could be my ph pen again or it could be that the plants are growing into the light and getting bleached. its still producing really sticky buds and I started my flush yesterday (day 63) so yellowing is fine. Il update and let you guys know what harvest is like next week :) Until then have a happy new year and keep on growing!

Day 67, new grower mistake: been flushing for roughly 3 weeks+, backed of the nutrients when the light burn started weeks ago because of fear of stunting the plant, noticed the fall colors starting 2 weeks and figured I would be close enough to harvest but unfortunately I was wrong. This LSD just wants to keep growing; still throwing out new white hairs with almost 60/40 orange to white hair ratio, and mostly cloudy trichomes but not too many Amber. In a perfect world I'd let it go another 1-2 weeks, but going into the 4th week of flushing, the dead leaves are getting too close to the main colas for my liking, I decided to do a partial harvest of the main top colas, and lower my lights a few inches to hopefully beef up the smaller buds that have been further from the light and are further behind then the main colas . I now know the importance of checking trichomes before starting flush and understanding the need for nutrients all the way through flower.

Hello all friends! Last week I disturbed my girls for the last time. did a very hard defoliation. also cleared of everything superfluous that was below the skrog. Overall, both plants are doing great. I think that the harvest should be excellent and high quality! Now all that's left is to wait!! @Zammi_official what can you say abouth this Double Gorillas?😜

So, as of now, my plants might be thriving... or they might as well be toast. We’ll just have to wait and see. With a fresh grow tent, new lighting, and upgraded ventilation in place, every detail feels more pronounced, more vital. This isn't just a new chapter; it's a whole new book. As for Nutrients I got my hands on some Frosty Bud Nature All-In-One-Nutrimix thanks to a generous gift. These nutrients aren’t on the shelves for the public yet, so I’m really curious to see how they help my plants handle the extra CALMAG. The key players in this saga are three promising FastBuds strains: "Apple Strudel," "Tropicana Cookies," and "Gorilla Zkittlez." Each brings its own distinct flair to the grow tent, hopefully. I’m thrilled to report a 100% germination rate—every single seed sprouted within two days! And just three days later, those sprouts were already breaking soil. Prvně sem sázel 3x Velvet Moon od Green House Seeds. Všechny vyklíčili a u dvou mi uhnil klíček v substrát, asi sem to přehnal s vlhkostí. Sázel sem rovnou do substrátu. Jedna přežila v pohodě. Nakonec sem hodil další dvě jiný a pěstuji 3 různé druhy. Ac infinity S4 Pro slouží k odtahu vzduchu. GardenHighpro - Profan TT 100mm slouží k přítahu vzduchu. RH ve dne 64% a v noci 84%, když uberu na výkonu zvlhčovače vzduchu, tak ve dne mají jen kolem 50%, takže mají v noci celkem “sprchu”.. Ještě se to snažím vyladit s odtahem vzduchu. Přítah funguje celkem slušně a jedu to s ním nově a na to že je venku 29 stupňů tak v boxu potřebuju ještě topení UrbanHeater 120W, abych se vůbec dostal na 26 stupňů. (Je zapojený na termostat). Bez přítahu vzduch sem měl v boxu klidně 30 stupňů, ale je fakt že světlo zatím jede jen na 80W.
