First week went perfect plants sprouted right on time and reacted really well to transplant

Hey hey my fellow growers, I hope everyone had an excellent week! It is great to be back here at the beginning of week six, let’s get into it! Last week I had misspoke- I said I was going to train 5 of the 6 plants I have going from fastbuds, this was false…. What I meant is all 6… Yes at the time I had only INTENDED on messing with 5 but the last one, the way it was structured with the self top, it was practically BEGGING me to get in there and play with it- and I ask you this- who would I be to deny that little strawberry pie the simple pleasure of a little training? So train I did… Nothing crazy, but actually for all six plants (despite my best efforts, best being debatable) to not go overboard- I have been going in a doing a little bit of training and taking a leaf off here and there if it’s blocking any potential bud sites. I am trying to be really careful and not do too much at once and upset any of them- but at the same time, after stunting them a bit with the taproot incident (which I will keep referring to until I learn from that mistake) I want to do what I can to maximize yield after tripping up a bit in the beginning. We will see how it goes, but for now, everything seems to be doing well and responding well to the bit of training I have been doing. Right now I am seeing a range of sizes among the bunch- the forbidden runtz are both shorter and squatier coming in at about 5.5 inches in height each and I notice everything is spaced a bit tighter on these so I have had some difficulty spreading them out but not to any problematic extent, just in comparison with the rest- Next we have the strawberry pie- the smaller one coming in at 5.5inches, is the one that I was speaking about that had topped itself. It seems to be doing well and handling the training just fine. However the other one, that one is much bigger and is about 8.5 inches tall. It wasn’t until I busted out the ruler that I saw that this was the second biggest plant of the fast buds. That leaves the largest which of course was the gorilla cookies! The smaller of the two is coming in at 8 inches and the larger one coming in at 9.5! They are both tied down and doing great, showing growth each day after being trained and having select leaves removed. We are getting closer and closer to flower I hope to have a bit more time with them but that is totally in their hands, so we will see what happens- the game plan now for me at this point is to keep doing what I’ve been doing- trying to balance on a delicate line. As far as other news… I am doing dishes the other day- I have my phone propped up with YouTube on and dude grows playing (my preferred way to do dishes) I hear the dude mention a giveaway they are doing that I had submitted an entry for recently so my ears had perked up…👀 I saw they had the contest page pulled up and on display and I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be cool if I got to see my picture right now, sure enough- I hear them start talking about my pictures! I in no way won (at this point, my fingers are crossed though haha) and I realize that this is debatably anticlimactic however, I listen to these guys everyday at work so I was stoked! I still am! There are lots of good giveaways going on right now, all the amazing contests going on on this site, Instagram wherever! 3/28/25 chopped and humidity was a little high starting off 3/30/25 have them drying at 60% and 70° 4/3/25 Still needing a day or so of drying to be at a stable humidity Beautiful plant. Fan leaves with Triched out patterns visibly everywhere. Even though i chopped quite a bit off of the plant, i still got quite a bit bigger yield than i expected. All sizable nugs. Pulled 65 grams.

I have started flushing with pH-adjusted Flawless Finish solution, expecting to harvest somewhere around the end of this week, although I will continue monitoring pistils and trichs. Upd: Added back 50% base nutrients and some flowering additives after researching some of the first responses to my flushing question. I learn every day. Even that which was scientifically proven true one day, might be even more scientifically proven absolutely false some time later (not related to flushing specifically). Thank you kings! Upd 2: Okay okay I cooked her with some cosmic rays or whatever those Chinese quantum bars emit — purple rays, I'll call it — that's on me. Turned them 30% down to see what's up. Light burn was not on my mind, because otherwise the leaves were not really curving that much, considering that this is 3 weeks overdue wrt advertised. Sorry about that, did not pay enough attention.

DAY 71 F: Well a day overdue for the update but I have been a busy fellow in the real world. The Girls scout cookies have dried enough to be considered for jarring. They have finished so perfectly and so damn tacky too. They smell of sweet candy after a lollipop lick. So nice. I have been taking samples the past week of so and drying them . temptation won.lol Idont expect a huge yield from their size but the quality is bang on the money. The Amnesia haze ladies are so so close now . They are rock somid still and have really packed the trichs on , a little swelling has been noticable but not the second flush of pistils I was hoping for. #1 and 2 are going to be left until day 77 at least , so another week but the #3 lady has got to go into the dark period now I think. She was the girl I confused as a gsc too so had her dragon force very early in that respect. Seeing how faded out she has got during the last week has helped drive the decision to get her out now. She will be in the dark for 48 hours then trimmed for drying. They will all be fed just water now to use up the remaining nutes in the pots to the end. The critical cheese is in mid flush of her newest pistils and thankfully is swelling nicely due to that fact. She has a really fuel/ nail polish heavy aroma at present but I can smell the sweet tang too. She looks like her yield could be a good one for what looked like a gangly specimen for the past 12 weeks. Lol . One of criticals finest qualities I think. All in all a good week for the ladies if not a calm one. Let's see what next week brings. Be safe and well growmies.

2024.09.08 D70 a cold week so far, remember that summer slowly pass by. As expected the fast berry get a nice purple tone dress, with a lot a trichrome shining like diamond on this late summer cold rain. The 3 top cola gain weight and its became hard to have this lady sit in their bucket, she keep dancing with this fall raising wind. black berry is not apart, she start smelling really heavy, and is bud coverred... we are good for another week...maybe two.... untill next time keep growing

So I've switched to the big bloom fertilizer from fox farm. Staying with the same amount and feeding schedule on both plants. But I will only be recording plant ones progress from here on out. I can see where quite a few bud nodules have formed. I've started every other day to slowly remove all the large fan leaves on the plant. I want all the new nutrients from the new fertilizer to go to the nodule spots instead of in the fans. So far I think it's looking really good at this age.
