Ive decided against the hps and added another 315w LEC, so there is now 3 315 LEC in total. 2x 3100k and 1x 4200k. The temps are lower using LEC than using a hps even with an air cooled reflector.

I have installed a fan sucking cold air from outside over the canopy to help keep temps down and reduce the risk of mould!

@BigDaddyK, yeah they do, i have 3, one for each lamp. They are pretty small compared to a 600w ballast.

@BigDaddyK, I'm now using 3 Philips cdm 2x3100k and 1x4200k they seem to be doing a great job, the best thing is the lack of heat

Picture 5, the 2 colas tied together, I won't recommend, they might get rotten with no airflow between them.
