This strain went so much better than last year. A lot more resin production which I'm putting down to my good ol' gallon of Molasses. Seriously. Worked so much better than the $40 flowering nutes that I used last year. So honestly, I spent like $250 on nutes and sprays last year, yet I only spent around $125 this year, no mineral salts, natural everything and I ended up with better bud. Didn't have to spend time flushing or worrying about burning plants and trying to remember what I fed when and which product I need to use next, etc. Keepin' it simple. I also had less mold thanks to the tomato roof and also I was more diligent about caterpillars. And of course I really like the tomato cages. I mean some of the branches do rub, and they don't look the greatest in the photos (maybe I need to paint them green for next year?) But the convenience factor is high. It work out a lot better than the staking and tying I was doing last year. I had about 25% better harvest, since last year was 2.8 oz per plant and this is 3.72 oz of dry bud. So that's a big improvement! Not to mention better quality and not just raw numbers. And last year I harvested everything, whereas this year I didn't deal with a lot of the little popcorns and gave them to the livestock. But I gotta say that the pictures don't do her justice. She absolutely glittered in the sunlight. And I don't think the other strains will get nearly as frosty. Not to mention that distinct aroma of guailol. So intoxicating! Cut down most of the colas Wednesday and finished lower colas Saturday. Washed as always with 1/4 cup each of baking soda and lemon juice in 5 gallons of warm water and rinsed in 5 gallon plain cold water. Hung up to dry in the upstairs of the barn with the oscillating fan (Do pardon the mess, my mother in-law is a hoarder and we need to downsize her clutter since she's safely thousands of miles away). Storing in mason jars in cabinet with 58% Boveda humidity packs. The 62's I used last year were a little too humid for long term storage so I'm trying the 58's this year. For some reason Growdiaries isn't letting me review this strain at the top or the Big Bloom and I'm wondering if that's because I've already reviewed both? But anyway, I've gotta say that this bud is higher quality than what I produced last year. It's stronger and you really feel like you're wrapped in a warm blanket with this strain. I also got a little bit of a headband with what I sampled, so we'll see what she's like after she cures a bit. It's a wonderful comfort at the end of a long day. About an hour of being happy and relaxed and then after that it's all you can do to keep your eyes open. I really enjoy making caramels with this strain. It's so easy to just grab one out of the freezer, and that way I sleep all night😴 1 cup Cannabutter 2 cups brown sugar 1 can sweetened condensed milk Melt butter with sugar on stovetop over low heat until combined. Add milk and gradually increase heat while stirring. You want to bring the mixture to 245F or 118C but you want to do so slowly so that your don't burn the mixture, and you want to shut it off immediately once you get there. You can pour it into molds, little paper cups or I pour it onto a parchment liked cookie sheet. Feel free to sprinkle a little finishing salt on top if you like salted caramels. Then I put them into the freezer to harden before wrapping. I wrap them on squares of parchment about 4"x4" and put them in a freezer bag. If cutting, I usually get 40 caramels that weigh 20-22 grams each. The most important thing is to be gentle and stir often. Don't scorch it! Otherwise this recipe is pretty darn easy, you just need a candy thermometer.

White Widow – Week 3 Flower | 12-12 From Seed 🌸❄️ Cycle: 12/12 (sometimes 11/13) from seed Stage: Flowering – Week 3 Feeding: Aptus + Plagron + All-in-One Liquid ⸻ Full Flower Mode Our White Widow has fully embraced her flowering stage. This week marks her third week in flower, and she’s already showing beautiful bud formation from top to bottom. Despite her compact size, she’s filling in evenly and with excellent structure. What really stands out is the early frost. Resin glands are already visible, sparkling under the light. For such a modest-sized plant, her energy is clearly going into dense flowers and resin production, not stretch. She’s showing her true White Widow heritage, compact, resin-heavy, and vigorous. ⸻ Nutritional Strategy This week, her feeding remains consistent with the established recipe: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation – 1 ml/L each But we’ve added something new: • All-in-One Liquid 🌱 This addition is meant to give her a balanced nutrient push during this critical phase. By Week 3, plants are transitioning from bud set into flower bulking, and the All-in-One helps provide extra micronutrients and macros that might not be fully covered by the base mix. The goal is to give her everything she needs for flower development, without overloading her. We’ll be watching closely to see how she reacts, but so far, she’s thriving. ⸻ What’s Happening Now At this stage, we see: • Bud stacking beginning across multiple sites. • Resin production kicking in early, with noticeable frost. • Minimal stretch, as she stays compact and focuses on density. • Healthy leaf expression, still a deep, vibrant green. This week is often called the “foundation of flower.” The plant sets the stage now for how heavy, dense, and resinous the later weeks will be. If nutrition and environment stay on track, we can expect these bud sites to start bulking steadily over the next 2–3 weeks. ⸻ What to Expect (and What Not To) ✅ Expect: • Rapid increase in bud density. • More trichome development, the frost we see now is just the beginning. • Aroma starting to intensify as terpenes begin expressing. ❌ Don’t expect: • Major vertical growth, her stretch is over, and she’ll remain compact. • Early harvest, White Widow typically flowers for at least 8–10 weeks. ⸻ Educational Note – Why Early Frost Matters Trichome production this early is a good indicator of plant health and genetic quality. Resin glands serve as protection for the plant against heat, light, and pests, so seeing frost at Week 3 tells us she’s thriving under the current conditions and that her genetics are naturally resin-heavy. For growers, this means a higher chance of strong aroma, flavor, and potency later on. ⸻ A Quick Recap of the Journey • Germination: Not an easy start — mistakes were made, but this White Widow was the survivor. • Veg: Compact growth under 12/12 from seed, slower to show flowers, but structurally beautiful. • Flowering: Took her time to enter full flower mode, but now she’s moving fast and strong. She’s the perfect example of how patience, careful nutrition, and trust in the genetics pays off. ⸻ Shoutouts & Gratitude 🙏 🌱 Zamnesia – for the legendary White Widow genetics 💧 Aptus Holland – for reliable, precision nutrition 🌸 Plagron – for flower enhancers that push her into full bloom 💡 ThinkGrow & Future of Grow – for the light power and spectrum balance 🧠 TrolMaster – for stable and adaptive control of the grow environment And most of all — thank you to everyone following along this diary. Your time, support, and interest in this journey mean everything. This isn’t just a grow log, it’s a story we’re writing together. ⸻ 📸 This week’s gallery includes: • Close-ups of bud development and trichomes ❄️ • Studio shots highlighting her compact beauty • Room updates with environmental stability Next Week Goals & Forecast 🔮 As we move into Week 4 of flower, here’s what we’ll be watching for: • Bud Bulking – Flowers should begin to thicken, with calyxes swelling and pistils multiplying. • Resin Expansion – Expect a noticeable increase in trichome coverage, making her sparkle even more under the lights. • Aroma Kickoff – White Widow is famous for her pungent, earthy-spicy scent. We should start catching stronger whiffs this week. • Nutritional Balance Check – With All-in-One Liquid added, we’ll be observing closely for any signs of overfeeding or lockout, though so far she’s responding beautifully. • Environmental Consistency – The new AC unit is stabilizing temps and humidity — a perfect setup for flower development. Holding VPD steady will be key. ❌ What we don’t expect yet: • No real ripening signs (amber trichomes or fading leaves) — it’s still too early. • No heavy weight yet — the bulking comes between Weeks 4–7. This next stage is often described as the “early swell” phase. It’s where flowers go from just “forming” into recognizable buds with weight, density, and stickiness. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Last week plants were looking super healthy and responded very well to the second topping so I decided to flip the light schedule few days later. They already started stretching and the smell is noticeably enhanced.

Day 50 - Starting week 8 today and she’s looking beautiful. She definitely not as big as I was expecting but she’s really starting to fatten up, looking and smelling amazing. Can’t wait for these last couple weeks for her to finish and chop her. Day 51 - All is looking good and hoping by the end of week 10 she’ll be ready or close to ready for chopping. Starting to get milky trichomes but still quite a few clear. The next couple weeks are gonna be fun to watch her fatten up more. Day 52 - She definitely looking good and getting a lot of milky trichs but there’s still a bit of time before she’s ready to chop, at least that’s what I’m thinking. Might do a split harvest if she calls for it but hoping she’ll be ready by week 10 or 11 at the latest. Just need her to fatten up a bit in the middle. Day 53 - Gave her a feeding of water today and continuing to watch her fatten each day. She’s starting to get really frosty and smelly and I’m loving it! Excited for the last few weeks. Day 54 - All is looking good still and it’s like this girl is almost turning into one big giant frosty bud and couldn’t be happier with how easy she’s been to grow so far. Right now she’s almost 100% milky trichs and looks like she still has a little more time to go still. I’m going for a little more couch lock so need those ambers to start showing up. Day 55 - All is looking good still, just watching her fatten up everyday. Day 56 - Last day of week 8 and she’s smelling sooo sweet and getting frostier everyday. Thinking about just giving her pH’d water from here on out. I’m guessing another week or two and she should be finishing up but just gonna continue watching trichs. Waiting for them to start turning amber. Still a few clear in there but not many, mostly all cloudy now.

this plant surprised me, its flowers became dense and heavy, much more than its mother's. The yield was much better than I imagined. I am really satisfied. I had never cloned an autoflowering plant and that sounds cool.

Hello my Friends!! Sorry for the late update was a very busy week! Bush'OKush grew phenomenal through out this grow. This is her last update before harvest. The pics were taken Monday, and I started the Harvest chop on Thursday That was a nice BDay present from the Cannabis gods🙌 She Was not the easiest but not that hard to grow at the same time lol. I think even a beginner can grow this strain just pay attention to it and it should not be to much of a challenge.👌 She really bulked up with lots of weight these last 2 weeks. It actually surprised me because it was one of those strains that builds the buds nice and big and then they dense up later on during the grow. So as they just kept getting more dense an dense as the last 2 weeks went on it was a nice surprise. I ended up having to stake and tie up a few of the branches and would have done more if it wasn't so close to harvest when they started to squat down. So if your growing this strain don't get upset if you think the buds are staying real fluffy, they will dense up in the end👍 It looks like she should have a pretty good yield!! She smells fruity/kushy/earthy that is so strong it almost burns your nose😷 She is getting harvested as close to 100% milky/cloudy trichomes but leaning more toward having more amber than clear trichs for that ~5-10% since it is pretty much impossible to get 100% cloudy. Other than that I just have to finish up trimming and yea I'll have the harvest update soon!👍 Happy Growing an Plentiful Harvests everyone!!🙏

Week 3 of flowering is in the books for the Auto Gelato girl from Fast Buds Genetics <3 ... this week I did some minor cleanup with dying leaves, and the lower branches that were being blocked out by the top colas. This girl has recovered exceptionally well after being supercropped the previous week, so excited to see how she'll continue to grow and stack up in the coming weeks! Considering I snapped the stalk while cropping, I was really surprised to see just how well the wound healed up over the week. These plants are awesome! Anyway, be sure to check back next week for more updates! Happy growing 💪

Jack herer auto is looking great forca 100 watt grow. She appears to be toward the end if bulking. I inspected some trichromes today, and it was not close enough for my liking to start a flush fade process. I have been growing her under the spider farmer SF-1000, in Athena blended line nutrition. It looks like it will be a good grow for a 100 watt light. Thank you Spider farmer, Athena, and ILGM. 🤜🏻🤛🏻💪🏻❄️🌱 Thank you grow diaries community for the 👇likes👇, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel👇. ❄️🌱🍻 Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g
