Der Stretch läuft noch, aber wird langsam kontrollierbarer – sie hat in kurzer Zeit ordentlich an Höhe und Breite zugelegt und füllt den Space jetzt richtig gut aus. Die ersten weißen Pistillen sind überall sichtbar und die Budsites entwickeln sich sauber und gleichmäßig. Vor allem im oberen Bereich bilden sich schon stabile Ansätze für dicke Colas. Die Struktur wirkt sehr aufgeräumt: gute Internodienabstände und viele potenzielle Headbuds durch das vorherige Training. Die Pflanze steht top da – sattes Grün, kräftige Seitentriebe und keinerlei Anzeichen von Mangel oder Stress. Sie nimmt alles an, was man ihr gibt. Licht-Update: Die Leistung wurde jetzt von 60W auf 120W erhöht, was man direkt am Wachstum merkt. Die Pflanze reagiert sehr positiv darauf – kompaktere Entwicklung und mehr Druck auf die Budbildung. Die LED kann bei Bedarf noch bis 180W gefahren werden, aktuell ist aber ein sehr guter Sweet Spot erreicht. Geruchlich geht es jetzt langsam los: leicht süßlich mit einer fruchtig-dieseligen Note im Hintergrund. Noch nicht zu aufdringlich, aber definitiv vorhanden – das wird in den nächsten Wochen eskalieren. Talked to a friend and I think the problem is the water's EC. I've been watering with mineral water low in minerals so I'll water with tap water for the following weeks until harvest. Other than that, plants are smelling great and producing a lot of resin, I'm eager to try them. For those planning on growing this strain, I definitely recommend topping because they get super bushy.

Esa familia, a que pintan fenómeno estas skunks?. Es que Zambeza hizo un gran trabajo con esta variedad, es una cepa que es bastante rápida en floración, crece muy bien en su etapa de crecimiento, y sobretodo es aparte de típica, muy sencilla de cultivar. De mis favoritas hasta ahora para indoor, como siempre, controlamos el ph y la humedad (siempre dentro de los parámetros correctos establecidos). La semana que viene nos vemos con más avances , un saludo.

Videos explains it briefly how they look so on the environmental side I’ve only been monitoring RH and temps. They’ve been sitting at 55-60 RH and 80-82 F. I separated the 4 plants as they were now overlapping in the 2x2’ section. They were transplanted in 2 gallon pots last week and by the looks of the Beast at most 2 weeks and she will fill that pot no problemo. I need to get them to 5 gallons before switching to flower. It starts with good genetics I couldn’t be any happier with the Beast, still amazes me daily.

Day 56 update, and man, the summer heatwave is officially pushing us to the limit! Inside the greenhouse, it’s getting incredibly hot, but the Gorilla Melon is handling it like an absolute champ. No real signs of heat stress yet, though you can tell she is working hard. Honestly, the AutoPot system is the real MVP this week; with these soaring temperatures, the constant water supply from below keeps her perfectly hydrated without any scary dry spells. To keep the canopy nice and even, I went ahead and did some more topping on the taller shoots to balance out the height before she gets any bigger. On the pest front, we had a little drama: the ChrysoCards unfortunately baked in the intense heat and didn't survive. Lesson learned! To fix this, I released a fresh batch of live green lacewing larvae instead. I just put them right onto the main branch junctions on the plant. It’s working beautifully—the thrips are visibly retreating, and I’ve barely seen any new damage on the big fan leaves this week. Slowly but surely, we are winning this battle!

Update Oct 19th 2017. Seen my first amber trich today, as I'm getting older I can't see through my loupe to view resin glands, so my wife showed me how too view them through pictures. All I can say is wow! She was able to zoom right in on them to get a good look.
