finally here we are, the transition to flowering begins after 7 weeks the girls are ready, with some feeding problems, I will try to give them what they prefer and now the countdown begins.

Week 11 April 23 - stretch seems to be over and I’ve raised the light to max height so let’s hope -looking good so far no deficiencies other than a bit of light burn/bleach because lights were to close -will be top dressing later this week before a watering -no smells just yet and thankfully as I need to get the temp down in the tent before later in flower

Going into flowering is always a special moment and we prepare to do it in the best way to make the plant understand that it is time to become a woman and speed up the start of the formation of buds. We start with 24 hours of darkness this to give a strong break and sign of change to the plant that understands the change of time and prepares to go into flowering. Our Test # 3 is doing very well for now, it has an average internodal distance and responds to topping very well. Its buds are quite well aligned and we expect a copious flowering. Another thing that gives the plant the signal of the start of flowering are the flowering stimulators we friends of Plagron use Power Buds. The start of the flowering program includes the same additives as the vegetative phase Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Now the basic fertilizer is Alga Bloom specific for flowering. The shape is very very beautiful as the structure of this plant, I definitely love plants with short internodal distance. Hello all, so today Day 61 12/24/2021 marks the end of this lady. There is a few reasons why this happen out of no where. First wife got me a new tent for B-day/X-Mas and this lady did not fit with other grow I have going on. Second running out of stock supply so its time to restock 😜. I do Wish I did gave her another two weeks, I am going to grow this again so stay tune in the near future for it.

Just water and a little bio bizz flower feed this week , the blackberry gum really showing the potential of the spider farmer. Smell really sweet , dutch kush cake is still not showing any trichomes and is slow and a little runty.

Almost killed them, ton much water en not enough light.

78 grams roughly 2.8 oz! Pretty happy with that as I’m looking for quality and potency and no longer quantity and quickness. She has a good amount of frost and super pungent stank radiating off her. Unfortunately for me I had issues with drying and at one point a few hours of 70% humidity which led to a few areas of mold…I threw away those buds and the rest are top notch..probably my most resinous plant harvested so far and strongest smelling. I also grew a runt which will give me less than an ounce now I know it’s just best to call quits on those stumpy odd growing plants and start fresh. Lastly my humidity stayed at 52-56% and I should’ve harvested 1-2 days earlier so the buds are much drier/crispier than I’d like. I’m still trying to find a good drying location..one room had that low humidity and my grow room had way too high at 70..will figure it out eventually. Also 200watt for lighting I can’t go back and change it.

Day 35 to 37 is showing rapid hydroponic growth. The roots are getting very dense at the bottom of the container. There is much less tendency for the roots to grow up into the available space. This makes it more difficult to crack loose and raise the root mass from the bottom of the container.

gorilla cookies is a resin producer of the very finest calibre. Her buds are covered with trichomes that start to mature after only about 60 days. A few more days and the lady will be harvested. She is so beautiful 🤩

Both Plants are beginning to stretch especially the second plant . I’m guessing they are about to start pre flowering . They’ve been super healthy. I just have a few leaves that go nutrients splashed on them so they’re looking a little burnt. I expected them to start flowering already but I’m not complaining .

UPDATE: Day 1 of week 14- Thursday 19th Nov!!!! Woop woop! We’re getting close, my magnifying lense arrived and I’ve got my first real good look at the trichomes.. All looking fairly cloudy with about 10-15% ambers coming through. So as we’re super close now I’ve now started flushing. Not doing a run off as have been using Biobizz soil & Nutes. First flush is done and girls are looking happy. One lady seems to have really heavy colas as she’s struggling to stand up straight. So I’ve staked her to keep her more upright. Think she may bring the best yield of all four girls as it stands so far. Final couple of weeks now, I can’t believe I’ve made it this far and really can’t wait to try my first home grown bud🍃 UPDATE: Day 2 of week 14 - Friday 20th Nov: Had to water them early as the girls were very dry after their first flush.. I on average water them every 48 hrs, but they were ready after 36. Already noticing some slight discolouration on the leaves 🍁... Glad I didn’t jump the gun and chop them this week after seeing some amber trichomes.. A bit more LST as they had stretched a little. I’m short on lamp to plant distance but noticed what looked like a little leaf burn on one of the tallest nugs. So did what I could to bring the height of them down just a little 👌 UPDATE: Day 4 of week 14 - Sun 22nd Nov: As soon as the lights went on today, more water seemed required at around 36hrs since the last flush. The girls seem to be loving it! Buds do seem to be fattening up a little more each day and I think one girl is slight more ahead than the others as she has mostly orange pistils compared to the other three.. Still need to see more amber trichomes on all four ladies before they’re ready! UPDATE: Day 5 of week 14 - Monday 23rd Nov: Small amount of LST to keep the girls as even as poss.. Defo seeing some discolouration in the fan leaves now.. All but one of the four girls have nearly completely orange pistils now which are folding back in to the buds. But Trichomes need to be a little more amber before they’re ready.. The fourth lady however is slightly behind with less orange pistils, some white ones still to turn orange and trichomes are still a mix of milky and clear on the lower buds. When I topped this one it didn’t work as well as the others so she has one really massive cola and all the others are much smaller in comparison to the other three plants.. I think we’ve got a week to 10 days left roughly till harvest. UPDATE: Day 6 of week 14 - Tuesday 24th Nov: Another water flush again today.. All seems well, lower small buds still need a few more amber trichomes I think.. But gonna post a question on here to make sure.. Don’t wanna get this wrong. Sooooooo close now and I’ll be seeing 🤩🤩🤩

Skywalker one and another Skywalker have stretched quite a bit in last week. About an inch and a half a day. I have a better light on order so hopefully it will prevent stretching in the future. Every day I move the fan leaves around to expose the buds that are growing. It should be an interesting crop in a few weeks Dec 9: S1 stretched to 24 inches. I will try to increase all the 2.5 of bloom (gave this to Pot 3 with S2 which is stretching about 2 days after S1)

Had to fed them on the 24/08 and watered them on the 27/08 to keep the soil moist but not dampened ! It’s Ganja, not water lilies in a swamp ! Unfortunately, there’s no perfect schedule for watering plants. The quantity needed by cycles depends on the size of your pots, the size of your plants and the environment, and the rule is the same for the period between two cycles. This is where you can be the only judge and you must learn to read your plants leaves (overwatering symptoms: droopy leaves with some kinds of speed bumps between the veins).
