July 19: second week of force flowering for Mimosa Shot. She’s doing fine and height wise has mostly caught up to the other plant in the wagon. Defoliated the understory to remove small buds and most fan leaves. Left some big fan leaves down below but took most out to improve airflow. July 21: doing fine. July 22: Foliar spray with Epsom salts and potassium silicate in the morning. The magnesium in the Epsom salts seems to help with the yellowish new growth. July 23: added another loose Scrog net layer this morning. Tying the net to water bottles to open up canopy to sunlight. July 25: watered yesterday with some leftover water from steaming beets for dinner. That water likely had lots of N because beets are high in nitrate and the plants look really green today.

It's time for another thrilling update on my cannabis journey: 🌸 Aromatic Delight: As we reach the end of week 8, the aroma in my grow space is absolutely enchanting. The scents have intensified and become truly captivating. 🌬️👃 🌈 Vibrant Colors: The plants are flaunting their vibrant hues as the flowers continue to mature. The leaves exhibit beautiful purple hues, and The Queen plant is adorned with striking orange and red hairs. It's an absolute spectacle! 🌺🎨 💧 pH and TDS Levels: Throughout the entire flowering stage, I've maintained a steady pH level of 6.33. That's fantastic news! In terms of TDS levels, they currently stand at 750ppm and 1150ppm, providing the much-needed nutrients for your beloved plants. ⚖️🌱 ⏳ Progress Update: The Queen has proven to be a fast finisher, reaching the impressive milestone of 49/56 days. She's now completely ready to be harvested. It's time to celebrate! 🔥 🍪 Oreo Big Stuff: Although the Oreo Big Stuff was expected to finish around the same time as The Queen, it seems she needs a few more days to reach her peak. Hang tight for another 2/3 days, and she'll be ready to harvest as well. Patience is key! 🍪⚡ 🌿 Zweet Og: Ah, the beloved Zweet Og! This beauty emits an incredible OG gas funk smell. I absolutely adore it! The estimated flowering time for this strain is 63-70 days, and she still needs a little over a week to reach her full potential. Keep an eye on her progress, as she's worth the wait! 🕒👀🌿 🧐 Drying Dilemma: Unfortunately, I've encountered a challenge with drying The Queen. She's currently positioned on the back left side of the grow tent with a scrog setup, making it difficult to remove her without disturbing the others. It's a tricky situation indeed! 😬🌿🏋️‍♂️ 🌱 Future Plans: Despite this dilemma, I'm overall thrilled with the progress of my grow. No hermaphrodites or other issues have surfaced, which is fantastic news. I'm even planning to embark on another run with The Queen. I already have six clones ready to transition into flowering immediately after this run. Exciting times lie ahead, especially since it'll be my first time flowering clones! 🌼🌿🌿 That wraps up this week's update. Update Day 14 Flowering: Pog is ambling along stacking her neat little buds up ready for long colas i hope. Temps here have been crazy hot for the UK. 34°c at points which is slowing them a little but with lots of airflow incoming , the rh is not too bad at 70% and i am watching for mould like a sheepdog for wolves.lol Another happy Barneys Farm Girl

Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas Tropicanna Poison F1 de Sweetseeds. Esta variedad me resultó bastante sencilla de cultivar, y si no la maltratas crece sana a mi parecer, la flor se ve increíble, tiene una cantidad de resina considerable y unos tonos rojos muy peculiares, se ven muy apetecibles. El olor que desprende es muy peculiar es muy dulce con toques terrosos, a mi parecer, no pinta nada mal, las flores están prietas. También os comento que la variedad es muy fácil de cultivar y no da mayores problemas, el ciclo no es largo, cuiden con la altura ya que se desmadran un poco. IMPORTANTE destacar: En las fotos comprobaréis que ya no hay botes de cristal con sobres de bóveda, ahora hay Grovebags. Que son una especie de sobres o bolsas que retienen el peso, previene la aparición de moho y mantiene intacto el terpeno, para que el curado sea más óptimo. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

So this week has been quite eventful. First, for the good news, there has been tons of new growth and the plant has stretched like mad! The buds seem to be fattening up in the last couple of days which is always exciting!! That was the good news lol. The bad news is I found a few pollen sacks on this plant which is really disappointing. I have never run seeds from the breeder I went with this time around and I am chalking this up to weak genetics. I do not have any light leaks and I run a pretty tight and tidy ship on my end so it’s hard to think it was environmental. I pulled off what I found and it appears only one opened 🤦‍♂️ (see pictures). It has been a good 4 days since I have seen any so 🤞 I won’t see anymore. I will keep this plant going but if I wasn’t running a single plant I might pull the plug. Who likes seeds in their final product! 😬😬 Not me!! It would have been nice to see this lady without a set of nuts!! Cooler Internals: 5.9 pH 650 ppm 1.3 EC Water is at 65F

This week has been fairly chill. Had a couple unwanted moths trying to vibe on my lights but hey, you can't blame em I guess. Watering has been fairly frequent but no real jump in intake of water. Not 100% sure when I should start the flush but will most likely make a grow question thingy about it in the near future. Other than those minor things the plant has been doing fine!

DAY 14 VEG. Hi growmies. I hope the green gods have been present in your grows this week. It has been a fairly good week for some of the girls this week but the tiny little Mexican airline had me convinced it would give in. Thankfully she hasn't and has now started to really begin growing with some healthy looking new growth pushing through in the last few days. Similar with the Strawberry Pie #2 and her toxic shocked look , she has got over the soils strength ow j think and begun to form normal leaves without the twist and darker colour ( clear sign of not liking something!) All of the plants have settled in fully now and the soil has started to work its magic hopefully. Trying to get the water cycle on point is the next task with it. I have been using 10L watering sessions to get it moist and will use a cheap soil probe to check the bottom for waterlogging . Next watering I will add the biosys tea again to support the soil life. The amendments should have all broken down nicely now so it is just watering from here in in hopefully. With ising 1 bed for 3 plants , I will be watching for the leaf green shade lightening , especially in flowering , and if needed use Megacrop as an additional feed. At this point it looks like the Strawberry Pie #1 and six Shooter #2 are leading the field but I get the feeling this light will help even that race quick sharp. I have now put it to 100% power as I do think these ladies will go for it this week now. No decision on the training yet but in will let their growth guide that one . TIP SPREADING I am using a method I learnt about a while back called tip spreading. It is a very simple process but can be very helpful if trying to control height in minutes spaces. It can also help to lessen the gap lengths between nodes on leggy strains. It is by no means a guarantee that the tall sativas will become bonsai bushes by a long shot but it does help to shorten the gaps there too. It is done while the plants are in veg and as each new pair of leaves form on the grow tips , we gently open them out so that the new emerging below gets light to it . This will encourage it to grow out quicker than waiting until the previous node has gone through the slower process of opening naturally. We are essentially rushing their growth for them. They are very delicate at this stage so it is a gentle process that must be done with a lot of caution and a slow pace. Hopefully the video will help and the effects will be shown during the growth over the next few days/weeks. Be safe growmies.
