April 26th - Day 69 : Oh my god look at them.. So bushy after that defoliation. They're doing great I think.. The only concern was the laggyness of the leaves but I guess it's due to overwatering so I'll chill with water for a day or two. I started trimming the lower branches that I think aren't getting enough light. I'm trying to push the veg stage as much as I can let's see if they can take an extra few weeks.

After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Checked out the trichomes yesterday, just to be sure, I think they’re 2-4 weeks away from harvest. This week I also fed them and slightly defoliated some leaves that were blocking light on some buds.

Big thicc buds. Hard to imagine what these will look like at the end in about 3 more weeks. Used twine over the last few weeks to individually tie up about 15-20 branches to the three stakes I put in. A trellis would’ve helped a lot, but she’s sharing a room with plants earlier in flower now, which is why I decided not to use one a few weeks back.

Day 71 - Defoliated today as she's starting to swell out. Took off around 30-40 fan leaves around the edges but also those growing towards the inside on the plant. Day 73 - I woke up this morning to the smell of sweet sweet Mary Jane! I left the tent slightly peeled open for the night to help with humidity and this morning my house smells of weed! Time to get out those odor control gels! By the way it smells amazing. Day 75 - I added a video flyover of my tent. Defoliated some more light blocking leaves this morning. In doing so I brushed by some flowers and man they are getting sticky!

Hey fellow growers here's my update of my Blue Dream 420fastbuds grow. These ladies are doing great!! Starting to fill in with flowers and smell is getting stronger with every feeding! Speaking of which this is what the feeds looked like this past week... 1/27/2021 2ml micro 1ml gro 2ml bloom 1/4ml ph down Ph 6.41 372ppm Solution temp 72.3°F 2/1/2022 2ml micro 1ml gro 2ml bloom 1/4ml ph down Ph 6.47 372ppm Solution temp 74.1°F This grow seems to be flying by compared to my first grow. Day 5 of Starting my biggest grow yet. All seed are from fast buds and are prizes from nov 22 newbie of the month. Iam starting this grow now as I have worked my way to getting a setup I am happy with. Will try to keep a detailed run at this dairy. Iam Biobizz light mix substrate in 12L root nurse fabric pots under two mars hydro ts1000s running at 25%. Average temp 20c and humidity 80% this week. Got three healthy seedling my Cherry cola don’t look to good I will germinate a seed along side her this week and see how we go. Let’s get this work 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Day 66 - The ladies are doing great. Feeding them at 550 PPM as it seems to be enough. I think the SP will finish earlier than the GC, but they both will have to do at least 4 weeks before harvest. Keep waiting to see their true structure and colors during flush 😍 Day 69 - The day before I found a dead leaf with 20/25 whiteflies under it. I removed that leaf and almost every lower fan leaf to prevent a proliferation. Checking the plants every day, it seems good for now, after that day I haven't found any whitefly. Keep growing and learning every day 🙏 Update next days 👊

Transplanted yesterday into 3gal container Probably going to be a monster by the end of the week will begin tying down with pipe cleaners check my other grow to see how the LSD seed has been doing

Ok so I put a significant amount of time into this grow. Learned a ton (everything lol) as it was my first. After the final week, I decided to harvest when the trichs were milky and clear. Few amber here and there but time constraints meant I had to chop a bit earlier than I’d have preferred. I do prefer a more uplifting cerebral effect yet realize with an indica leaning strain, having all cloudy and maybe 25% amber would have been 👌🏼. My drying process began by chopping a plant at a time, I washed the buds to get the PM or traces off (also grime from outdoor city air). I used a big bucket and did hydrogen peroxide. In heindsight I would have used baking soda as well and did a two step wash. After washing them, I hung to dry with a fan until they stopped dripping then into the tent they went for drying at roughly 68 degrees and 55% humidity. I staggered the harvest and wet trimmed about 70% of the time with the latter 30% dry trimmed. This was done for convenience and to try both ways. I dried everything for about 12-13 days until the smallest stems snapped and the larger ones were borderline cracking. I started jarring everything with humidity meters, about a half oz per smaller widemiuth jam jar. The smell was never hay-like but did vary in strength and scent from plant to plant. Almost no seeds which was pretty great to see. One of the outdoor plants had quite a few seeds so I kept that separate. It ironically had the stinkiest floral smell. So what’s the total!! After curing in jars for about a month, I weighted everything and came out with 10.5oz of cured trimmed flower and about 2 oz of sugar leaf trim which I am making canna butter with and cooking. Made some reduculously strong cookies: 11 cookies from about 10 grams of trim. Ate two and was medicated for about 24hrs 😂. Some of the buds were super dense and cured down to 58 RH easily. There were a few of the large big buds that had mass but less density and fewer trichomes. These were more red-hair visually than the others. The smoke: surprisingly smooth. The effect is energizing and uplifting at first, with a nice sedative body feeling on the second half of things. Overall, I’m super happy with the result. Learned a TON and will be modifying my approach a bit next go-around this spring. Stay tuned!!!

These pictures are from week 1 to week 5 of veg. I didn't waste no time working these plants pulling and topping and defoliation. I started with 2 plants and I belive I just stressed the one out so much it stunted the growth in the pictures you can tell a high difference in size. I ended up getting rid of the smaller plant. The one thing that I learned about the bigger plant is that it loved being at a ph of 5.5 it ate so much more and grew so much faster then if it was at 5.8-6.0ph. The veg stage was a great learning experience for me.

Critical x Animal Cookies is growing good under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She is just behind the others in the run from being stunned at start. She is doing good now, and hopefully she should start developing very soon.
