Day 43 - Had a full water change and now running RO ( Reverse Osmosis) Water. Not topped up any nutrients yet just straight RO water as I've defoliated the girls and took off a lot of the excess foliage and sites i thought won't be getting much light. The reason for not adding nutrients straight away was because they have already had a bit of stress due to defoliation and them trying to uptake nutrients at certain temperature ranges and pH will add to it. So just RO water pH'd to about 5.7/5.8. After 12-24 hours have passed I'll add nutrients again. Smells very strong in here now and getting paranoid lol. They grow by the day and get frostier each time i open the tent. Until the next time people. Day 45 - close up bud shot of one of the girls lowers and a few colas. Girls seem to be happy with the RO water which makes me feel as though i should of been running it earlier for sure. EC has dropped, so i know the girls are feeding uptaking nutrients. Hello. This the end of the 1st week and the start of the 2nd week of flowering. Just a fast entry... I'm starting harvesting of the front 1/2 of this greenhouse tomorrow. So, I'm getting ready for that. These plants have still got 6 or 7 weeks of flowering to go still. These plant will go in the front of the greenhouse when I'm finished with the harvest in there. Did a stock rub test of these plants and the smell reminded me of the good old days of buying land race pot. It smelled like The Columbian sativa from the 1970's... mmm wonderful. OK. Have Fun. Hello Fellow Growers ✌️🏻🍁 Not posted in the last week or so, The girls have been potted up into 18litre pots using Bio all mix. Few of them had low PPM 350/400s & some in 700s just before reporting which is low and showing N deficiency’s So once potted up I just give them a nutrient feed of bio grow. Since the soil is got nutrients in it am hoping this will sort it’s self out nutrient wise over the next week. Ripper seeds - dosido x purple punch - has got some mad deficiency I can’t keep happy always looks over watered Aiming to start flowering within the next week or so - since potting up the others I soon realised I was running out of space so I decided to chop a couple strains out. Thought of adding a humidifier into the mix but not sure as I was having over feeding issues - anyones thoughts on this? All auto flowering strains are starting to really get into flowering now. Pink runtz auto - has a lovely strawberries smell. Gorilla glue auto - isn’t looking to great, she’s got a slight deficiency. Blue cheese auto - is growing slow I’m sure this got over fed and just hadn’t bounced back yet. Amnesia haze auto - this is the tallest of them all she’s starting to pack on too. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively.
