Today I would like to tell you something about my new “toy” (Ecowitt GW1200 +WH51). I read something in the forum about a soil moisture sensor that is IoT capable. I was curious and of course had to buy it... 😄 Works really surprisingly well, I tested it beforehand with a small test setup. Up to 8 sensors can be connected to the gateway and theoretically home automation would also be possible. What I particularly like: Battery status display History with graph Freely adjustable alarms Access via internet and browser and of course app Plugs to cover the LEDs This is not intended as advertising, but I thought I'd explain in detail before people ask what these parts are

Fattening up nicely, and smelling like citrus...I'm impressed

Today, day 23 was the last repotting. Girls went from 11.6L to a 20L pot. Now there in the right place. In fact, just 3/4 have beene repotting because I didn't have enough Lightmix :/ My order is late, and I'm not really happy with that 😡 I planned to top the girls on wednesday or thursday. It will depends on how they will recover. Actually, it's my first time with smartpots. If smartpots have a lot of advantages, repotting is not one of them ! I made a mistake : the plants were 60% dry, and abviously, it was not a good idea ! It should be clearly moist. Nextime I think I will water the girls 1 hour before repotting. I hope it will be ok and they will recover from this tough moment.... Will see in a few days 😰😨 Anyway, I have generously watered them right after repotting with no nutrient. Juste clear water with the right Ph. As they are in some brand new light-mix medium, I thought they have enough nutrient for a at least 2 or 3 days. D-25 : Everything is ok. Girls seems to have recover very well :) Anyway, I'll wait at least one more day before topping. The last Chocolate Haze (the one that was 5 days late), doesn't have 6 nodes yet and I would prefer to top each girls at the same time. D-26 : Repotting the last one and topping everybody. Fingers crossed for the next couple of days... I also feed the girls right after the top. During the topping process, the plants were reduced from 19cm to 12cm.

Harvest day! This is my first autoflower ever and after 66 days this is what I got. Now it's hanging to dry for a dry trim. Definitely not the best, but feeling happy with the outcome. Even with some major feeding mistakes, I managed to finish her. Learned so much. I will update with the final weight and a strain review!

The strain has proven to be extremely sturdy compared to the autoflower version. The smell has been a bit problematic. Some terpenes just can't seem to be tamed even with a brand new carbon air filter. I hope this pays off in terms of aroma quality :)

5/12/2024 these plants just keep on getting fluffier and fluffier. Did a slight defoliation. The plant I did training on, seems to have better stackage than her sister. If lst doesn’t increase yield, then it at the very least will increase bud size/stacking. 5/19 end of the week, they're starting to pack on weight now. Pistils are turning a super bright orange color that has a pink tint to it that is super beautiful. The camera does not do it justice at all. I would definitely recommend this strain to anyone. It's stupid easy to grow and the buds are just getting ridiculous. You could probably drop like 9 of these in 3 gal pots in 3x3 tent and just water and basic notes and do a sea of green style. Watch the humidity though.

Bonjour à tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Jour42 ma plante entre bien en floraison je pratique sur elle une defolliation pour permettre aux têtes de prendre la lumière La floraison des plantes de cannabis La plante de cannabis passe par différentes étapes de vie avant de parvenir à la récolte. Ces étapes sont : la germination, la pré-croissance, la croissance et la floraison. Pour les autofloraisons il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir de changer le cycle de lumière elle entre en floraison automatiquement voilà d'où elle tient son nom "d'autofloraison" L'origine de l'auto-floraison vient de la sous-espèce "cannabis sativa ruderalis" , qui à l'origine produit de très faibles niveaux de THC. C'est en croisant cette variété de marijuana avec d'autres qui produisent des niveaux de THC plus élevés qu'à vu le jour ce magnifique compromis que sont les variétés auto-fleurissantes avec des taux de THC très satisfaisants. En parallèle, cela a permis d'améliorer la production de ces variétés, qui initialement étaient exceptionnellement basse. Pour des résultats optimaux, en culture Outdoor (extérieur), je recommande que la germination des graines de marijuanaAuto-flo se fasse entre avril et août. En culture Indoor(intérieur), la photopériode idéale que ce soit pour la croissance comme pour la floraison est de 20h de lumière. N'oubliez pas que ces graines ne sont pas tributaires de la photopériode pour passer en floraison. Il est préférable d'utiliser des pots d'une capacité de 10 à 20L dès le début, étant donné que leur cycle de vie est réduit, les auto-flo n'ent pas besoin de plus de volume pour se développer. Vu sa petite taille (et la discrétion) elle fait l'objet d'un bon choix pour la culture de cannabis sur balcons. La première variété de Lowryder auto-floraison a été créé à partir de cannabis indica sativa croisé avec des génétiques de cannabis sativa rudelaris par la banque de graines de marijuana "The Joint Doctor". Puis vinrent la White Dwarf de "Buddha Seeds", la Roadrunnerde "Dinafem", l' Auto Stoned d' "Autofem", la Speed Devil de "Sweet Seeds" , la Maxi Gom de "Grassomatic", la Flash, la Gnomo de Kannabiaet bien d'autres. Jour42 defolliation (video) Avant toute chose n'oublions pas de bien désinfecter ses outils et bien ce laver les mains. Quesque la defolliation ? LES CULTIVATEURS AMATEURS, PRENEZ GARDE, MAIS NE PRENEZ PAS PEUR La défoliation consiste à retirer les feuilles des plants de cannabis en intérieur afin d'accroître le rendementfinal. Le cultivateur amateur doit faire preuve de vigilance lorsqu'il commence à appliquer cette technique de taille. Malgré le débat sans fin entre ceux qui prônent cette technique et ceux qui la dénigre, il n'y aucune raison pour qu'un amateur ne s'y essaie pas afin de voir si ça lui convient ou non. COMMENT DÉFOLIER Que vous tailliez les feuilles ou les branches des plants de cannabis, il vaut mieux utiliser un sécateur stérile qui est confortable en main. Arracher des feuilles à la main manque de finesse et engendre souvent par accident, l'arrachement des couches d'une tige en plus de la feuille. L'objectif principal de la défoliation est de permettre une meilleure pénétration de la lumière et de promouvoir la production de plus grosses têtes. Les feuilles éventails qui font de l'ombre doivent être retirées. Tailler la tige principale et/ou les pousses secondaires n'est pas de la défoliation. La règle d'or lorsque vous donnez à vos plantes un rafraîchissement est de commencer avec les feuilles nourricières les plus grandes et les plus larges, en taillant du bas vers le haut. Il est important de retirer les feuilles stratégiquement et non pas au hasard. Pensez également qu'il vous faut limiter votre rafraîchissement à approximativement 10 à 20 % des feuilles totales de votre pied. Il est très facile de s'emporter durant la taille et de se retrouver avec des plantes chauves. Un excès de taille de feuilles empêchera la photosynthèse et paralysera vos plants. QUAND FAUT-IL DÉFOLIER Il est assez rare d'appliquer la défoliation comme seule technique pour obtenir un fort rendement. La taille des feuilles est généralement associée à d'autres méthodes de tailles et de palissage pour un meilleur rendement telles que le topping ou étêtage, le FIMming, le LST, le manifolding, le supercropping et le ScrOG. Les cultivateurs utilisant la méthode ScrOG auront besoin de retirer toutes les croissances inférieures ainsi que les feuilles et les tiges se trouvant sous le filet. Les plants de cannabis peuvent être défoliés dès lors qu'ils sont passés de la phase de plantule vers la phase de croissance végétative. Cependant, il est recommandé aux cultivateurs amateurs de laisser aux plantes 1 à 2 semaines de croissance végétative avant de s'attaquer à la défoliation de celles-ci. De plus, certaines variétés sont plus sensibles à la taille que d'autres et de ce fait, seront plus stressées par la taille des feuilles. Surveillez minutieusement le comportement de vos plants après la taille. Une période de convalescence de minimum 3 à 7 jours avant de recommencer la défoliation est fortement recommandée pour éviter trop de stress aux plants. Les cultivateurs peuvent également défolier pendant la phase de floraison, ce qui permettra à l'énergie de la plante d'être concentrée vers la production de têtes tout en limitant l'ombre et l'excès d'humidité. Néanmoins, il est important de ne pas défolier trop tard sous peine de simplement blesser ses plants inutilement. LES AVANTAGES DE LA DÉFOLIATION Évidemment, l'avantage numéro un de la défoliation, c'est l'augmentation du potentiel de rendement de cette technique de taille pour tous types de cannabis allant de la photopériode aux variétés autofloraison. Ce n'est pas un secret que les fleurs qui reçoivent plus de lumières deviennent plus grandes et larges que celles dissimulées dans l'ombre des feuilles. De plus, retirer les feuilles intérieures des plants touffus aide à prévenir toutes menaces de moisissure. Les plants très feuillus avec un feuillage intérieur dense produiront une quantité importante de têtes pop-corn. Dans le pire des cas, les branches de têtes et les têtes qui sont denses succomberont au pourrissement. Si vous observez des gouttes d'eau se former sur la surface des feuilles, il est grand temps de penser à faire de la défoliation. Libérer la zone inférieure et médiane des feuilles est un excellent moyen d'améliorer la circulation de l'air. LES DÉSAVANTAGES DE LA DÉFOLIATION Les plants de cannabis en intérieur bénéficient de la défoliation pour deux raisons. La première est parce qu'ils reçoivent la lumière d'une source stationnaire au-dessus d'eux, et la deuxième est parce que les conditions environnementales sont contrôlées par le cultivateur et non Mère Nature. Les plants d'extérieurs eux, n'y gagnent pas beaucoup, car les cas échéants se vérifient pour eux. Le soleil traverse le ciel, illuminant sur sa route, différentes portions de la plante de son lever à son coucher. Les cultivateurs en extérieur n'ont pas besoin de manipuler les plantes afin qu'elles se développent en adoptant une structure plate puisque le soleil est infiniment plus puissant que n'importe quelle lampe de culture et qui plus est, il est toujours en mouvement. Tailler les feuilles des plants extérieurs les rend également plus vulnérables aux conditions humides et brise leurs barrières naturelles contres les nuisibles. De nombreux cultivateurs d'intérieur peuvent, et malheureusement, c'est souvent le cas, réduire le rendement final à cause d'une défoliation faite au mauvais moment et/ou excessive. Tailler les plantules n'est pas conseillé et engendre souvent des plants nains. Scalper les plants matures est encore pire, et au lieu d'obtenir de longues branches de têtes, vous obtiendrez probablement encore moins de fleurs. De même, tailler des plants malades ou en mauvaise santé à n'importe quelle période de la croissance risque de paralyser la croissance plutôt que d'encourager la formation de fleurs denses. Aya room up to now is giving pretty impressive results and it looks like they like the enviroment even tho its not fully equiped. After adding the c4 neet to celan the insides a little bit more and see how it will react.

7/13 It's maine-ing out. Overcast and misting. I guess it rained last night but not much. Today is my watering day although I think they could've made it until tomorrow. These drastic temp changes makes it hard to get a STEADY routine in place. I watered everything in the 20's a gallon the 10's 1/2 gallon. The 10th planet in the front was still heavy so I didn't water it. I'll keep an eye on it. Temps are much milder. I noticed a few more septoria leaves on the 10th planet which I promptly defoliated. This pheno is flowering. I could've put this week as flowering as several plants have started. I also saw ONE leaf on my chem dog that had septoria on it. ONE f-ing leaf! I was planning on treating this early anyway so I mixed one gallon of plant doctor 3 tsp gallon/gallon which was the recommendation. I'll monitor this plant and continue treating it the next two weeks. I may do foliar too but the mixture is different. It's a systemic so I don't think that matters as much. Considering getting mulch to protect from spores on the soil. My plants look GORGEOUS. I Hate to use such a nice plant as a guennie pig but I'm not going to sit here and watch it progress. I'm lucky it's really not that bad and that it's on a reveg. There's so many leaves that I would be forced to prune anyway. I'm seeing two MAYBE three leaves a morning but I want to get this under control. Last year u let a plant with septoria go and it finished but went to extracts. I've got a pretty good feeling about this plant doctor. I've used it before with good results. Only time will tell though.🤞 EDIT: WENT OVER AT ABOUT 1PM. ITS 2 NOW AND BLUE SKIES AND SUNNY. Amazingly the 10th planet that I treated with the plant doctorcmix had ZERO visible signs of septoria. I did find one leaf on Mt chem dog and two on my mk ultra with the big leaves. It could've been calcium deficiency but I really doubt it because I think I saw THAT as well. I'm going to wait a day or two and if there are still no negative results and the plant is still looking good I'm going to treat AT LEAST the two others that MAY be infected. It's a systemic and can be used proactively and supposably breaks down into p and k after stimulating immune response. I'll monitor a little longer but as it stands I think I'm going to treat the other two just in case. I also need to start feeding. I've watered a lot more than I normally do so obviously the soil won't last as long. This has been some tricky weather but I'm happy with how things are progressing. I probably should've changed this to the first week of flower as several plants are popping pistols everywhere. EDIT: WENT OVER AROUND NOON AND MIXED UP TEO GALLONS OF PLANT DOCTOR PLANNING TO TREAT THE TWO PLANTS BESIDE THE 10TH PLANET. I watered everything at least a gallon and 1.5 for the thirstier plants. I treated my big fan leaf mk ultra and my chem dog #4 with the same Plant Doctor mix as i did tge 10th planet beside it. I havent seen ANY septoria on that plant since application and it looks better than ever. I watered them with a half gallon of phed water before doing a soul drench with the gallon of Plant Doctor @ 3tsp/gal. I'm not seeing much septoria but plants are starting flower and I want to nip it in the bud. This product can be used preventatively and I went by the guidelines for medical marijuana. It was 70 earlier this morning. I'll update as I go forward. EDIT: WENT BACK OVER AT 3 AS THE TENPS WERE PIST 90 AND HAD BEEN ALL DAY. I POSTED A SHORT VIDEO BUT EVERYTHING IS LOOKING GREAT. I def should make sure to treat tjis septoria before focusing on nutes. It says you can mix it with nutes but I'm leary of doing so. I'd rather apply them at seperate times. I watered the garden even though it's supposed to rain with a chance of thunderstorms. Everything got at least a gallon. The mk ultra reveg in the 30 got 2gals as did the thirsty special kush on the end. I've figured out which plants use more water and I try to give them a little more. I also fed today. I was hesitant to feed the plants I treated with plant doctor, but I did anyway. 1tsp grow big 2tsp big bloom .5 tsp calmag. I've noticed pistles coming together on a few plants and forming buds. Next week will definitely be labeled flower. The plants treated with plant doctor LOOK great! I've found a few septoria leaves on a couple other plants. No big deal. I was going to treat the rest of the garden preventatively but if a couple more are infected I'll just add them to the rotation. I just need to make sure I follow-up with the next few treatments. Can't say enough good about this plant doctor. 7/18 Well this fucking sucks. It's 35mph wind gusts and windy as hell. It might've rained last night but if it didn't rain much. I spent the morning "trying" to put up little strong or rope supports to help the girls. I ran a rope across the front of the three on tje back to suppirt them. That one works good. I have one going the other way the entire length which helps support some. Then I took string and ran it around each side of a row for supports. So far no observable damage abd the plants all looked awesome. They've been through a lot and are big tough hardy plants. They'll make it through tjis no problem. I'd be more worried if they had big wet flowers on them but by then I'll have the proper supports and maybe a trellis up. I feel for them this morning and I hope that wind doesn't dry out my bags! EDIT: SPIDY SENSE STARTED TINGLING AROUND ONE SO I WENT AND CHECKED. I GUESS WILL POWER ALONE WONT MAKE IT SO THE PLANTS MAKE IT TO WATERING DAY. WIND GUSTS HAVE BEEN HIGHER THAN 35MPH AND IVE SEEN REPORTS OF 25MPH SUSTAINED WIND. I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS HERE BUT IT DRIED OUT SOME BAGS AND WAS TURNINGVPLANTS SIDEWAYS. I NOTICED SOME LEAVES WITH THE COMMON "IF THE BROWN SURROUNDS YOUR PLANT IS DROWNED" SO IF THE PLANTS HAVE A LITTLE WEIGHT, LOOK GOOD AND HAVE PRAYING LEAVES THEN I SHOULD PROBABLY WAIT TO WATER. THEY ARE ALL GETTING BEATEN TO SHIT BY THIS WIND STORM. IM SURPRISED THERE IS NO DAMAGE. THESE PLANTS ARE VERY STRONG. RESILIENT. I DIDNT WATER THE 50 EITHER AND IM UP IN THE AIR ABOUT WATERING IT TOMORROW. Edit 2 I went over around six once the wind died down a little. All the plants I didn't water look great. It's jist the reveges that took it the worst and has some fading leaves. I fixed it with nutes but it doesn't fix the leaves already pale. The reverse mostly are the ones seeing any stress from this storm. The large special kush in the front has buds like an inch long now. Soon it will be time to treat with plant doctor again. 7/19 Well that was a ridiculous windstorm that lasted all day. It was 54 when I was there this morning. I watered the two kush's in the back with a gallon and the 60 with a gallon. Now it's 9 and 70 but it's not supposed to be as hot. This weather is crazy. I defoliated some leaves from the 10th planet that I treated first with plant doctor. Tomorrow it's due for its second treatment. The other plants are only a couple days different and are doing good. Next watering I think I may treat everything. It's a small enclosure. That would be the smart move. I'm having some leaves yellow up on two of the plants that reveged. It sucks because I know I've overwatered a little on occasion but that's because it's 100° with strong wind running through my bags and drying them out. I give them their 10% so its not that I'm not giving enough at a time. I've also noticed some random pest damage. I'm considering using citric acid as I have it on hand and it supposably also helps with septoria. If I do it it will be a diy of Dr. Zymes. The way I look at it is these are outdoor plants. This isn't a sterile environment and shit like this is going tp happen. I saw a leaf that was almost totally eaten. Probably jpn beetle or grasshopper/cricket but they certainly got a good meal! I need to spend more time in the garden. EDIT: WENT over around noon to check things out. Windy and 77°. It LOOKS like the two 10th planet's and the mk ultra reveg are picking up a little. I think they suffered not only wind stress but over watering do to these 100° that can drop to 60° in a day. Those super hot days I even left them until they drooped before I watered but still wasn't good enough. They're in transition though so they use the most water. Plus those 3 are the ones that revegged. It's getting to be close to the one week mark where I do the second treatment of plant doctor. I may hold off a day to get everything on the same page. I'm thinking about treating everything. If some were good I'd guess they wouldn't be after that horrible wind storm. Plants LOOK good though. I defoliated a couple septoria leaves and a few overwatered or yellow leaves.

What’s up this is the very start of week five these plants are huge really filling out the screen good. The grow XL really kicked into high gear. Got tons of tops and nodes poking up. Keep folding everything down under the screen and it’s really getting good results. Nutrients are doing great everything has a really nice color. The DWC plant water got a little high on the PPM for a day towards the end of last week so I started to see a little bit of tipp nute burn butt got the water changed out and everything is looking great again. I topped that plant really good and it’s got a really nice round shape trying to get it to fill the whole end of the tent screen. I’m pretty excited about this plant. This will probably be the last week of veg well I know it will everything’s in pre flower pretty heavy. And they have a really strong smell for being where they’re at in their life cycle which is cool! I’ll update again in a few days thanks for stopping by and as always 🍻

Easiest week so far, no problems just growing. I did spray some neem oil on my soil a few days a go to keep pests out of the fox farm soil. Week 4 will bring in topping after the next node grows in, should be 2 or 3 days. Also towards the end of the week after she recovers from topping I will begin LST. Will provide pics throughout the week Posted first vid in real light not my 600 watt LED. Mainly for health purposes. This will be so interesting to see how blueberry will develop after an accidental FIMing lol. Personal Note: Wait to top when there is a full mainstem and not barely new growth. Meaning wait til the new growth has 2 fan leafs spread out, and not when they are just leafs barley sprouted from the main stem. Rookie mistake number 1 so far at the end of week 3. Or maybe time will tell if blueberry will be gracious enough to be a beautiful big buded tree. I read where FIMing can develop up to 4 extra colas and still grow beautifully. Fingers crossed.
