🌱 Grow Journal – Week 8 This week, the plant kept growing steadily and looks healthy overall. She gained almost 8 centimeters in just seven days—that’s more than a centimeter per day, which is a great sign of strong development. I’m planning to work on her structure a little: probably a topping in the coming days, along with a light defoliation. The goal is to open up the canopy, improve airflow, and make sure the light is distributed more evenly, while guiding her growth in a balanced way. The main challenge this week has been the pH. This morning, the reservoir measured 4.8 while the tray was at 5.2, a 0.4 difference. I honestly don’t understand why the drop was so sharp. I had added Athena Balance, which should stabilize the nutrient solution. The only explanation I can see is the heat—we hit almost 31°C this weekend, and I suspect the nutrient solution was heavily affected by the temperature rise. If anyone reading this journal has insights on why this happens, I’d be glad to hear them. It’s a bit frustrating, because Autopots are supposed to make things simple. But in reality, I still need to monitor closely, especially since the coco buffer doesn’t seem to be doing its job properly—or maybe the reservoir just dropped too low and threw everything off. Either way, I’ll stay vigilant. Hopefully, with summer ending and temperatures cooling down, the solution will stabilize and the pH won’t swing so much. On the positive side, I’m still really happy with Athena nutrients. The solution stays crystal clean, no buildup, no deposits, and that makes things a lot easier to manage. So overall: strong growth, healthy plant, but pH management continues to be the main challenge. Let’s see how things evolve next week.

Fat Banana doubles in size this week and starts to develop some true leaves. Taken out of the humidity dome & moved a lot closer to the CFL now, roughly 4-5 inches. Roots looking healthy and developing nicely, will be transplanting in the coming week to a slightly larger pot when I'll also introduce some 1/4 strength veg nutes.

Plants doing very well but Temperatur and humidity are killing right now. Can't do nit really anything to get better results. Adding now once a week about. 0,7 grams of the NPK from greenhouse

I have changed tent to a bigger one 120x120x200 and upgraded my carbon filter and fan to a spider farmer 6” intelligent which seems all great happy with plants looking healthy I have another mare hydro ts1000 to also go in tent which will be going in around a week 😁👍 thanks to all

Como estáis fumetillas, yo estoy flipando, y es que las flores de estas skunks son como rocas, y no solo lo compactas que están si no que están bastante tricomadas, las 3 a cada cual más , lavamos las raíces y ya estarán solo agua, dejemos que termine de florecer y madurar, tampoco hay prisa, ph controlado temperatura ideal, bajamos algo más la humedad, puede que tengamos que tuitear alguna pero estoy evitándolo, se irá viendo estos días, ya nos veremos esta semana que viene un saludo familia y buenos humos.

She is taking her time, trichomes not ready. She has long thin formed bud/flower growth, long thin buds

05/07/2020 definitely another week, #9 flower I think she be done end of week 9. The trichomes are mostly clear, some milky no amber, but I only want 5-10% amber at most anyway as I want daytime meds. Leaves are fading fast will get some better pics soon, one more watering of 2, liters plain water and we are done see you in 7days for the (harvest?)hope and pray! Ps. I do this because breeder says 9-12 weeks but breeder didn't specify 9-12 TOTAL / Or weeks or flowering weeks so I harvested 47 grams wet, at 13 weeks TOTAL, the rest will Be at my peak harvest date which is approximately week 9-10 of flowering. So it's within reason I would say.👍 Pss. The 47 grams wet weight is now at 13.9 grams, (dry weight) after 10 days drying and into the glass jar for burping and curing process . Four days into week (9 of flowering) i brought out my 420 scope still lots of clear trichomes, maybe a 10-11week flowering? Probably my lights need upgrade. See you in 4 days

Powdery mildew is being kept at bay from the sun's rays hopefully she stays OK till harvest time. The main cola is getting big and heavy and she is stinking the place up 😊..

24 hrs of darkness begins. amber trichomes are hard to see under certain lights and through glasses, i dumped the glasses and moved each one to a different room and sure as shit "amber trichomes!". I just realized a jewelers lupe with a light works better without looking through reading glasses. 3 yrs of crap harvests and it aint over yet but if i get these dried at 60rh @ 70 deg F for 6-10 days APPPROX! CAREFUL FOR MOULD, and i got the 32 oz jars, belvidas and humidity guages for cure. as long as i can do that right, man things are really looking good. PRINCETON CAN USE A GUY LIKE JOEL! We'll see. I am starting another diary for the 2 gorilla glues that are growing really slow. I was going to dump them but i kept putting it off and slowly the buds started stacking up. I would love to know if this is common with all seed vendors and not just mine and why its happening like this. More important, I GREW BIG POTENT BUDS BY MYSELF!!!!!!! PRETTY HAPPY ABOUT THAT. HOURS AND HOURS OF VIDEO LESSONS, GROW DIARY QUESTIONS AND LOOKING AT OTHER PEOPLES GROWS, CONDITIONS PRODUCTS, EQUIPMENT AND RESULTS. 2024-07-20 I'm focusing solely on the Indoor Girl in this report. The Outdoor Girl will receive a separate update once she shows more signs of flowering. This week's photos showcase the Indoor Girl's journey from start to finish, and she's been an absolute joy to grow - truly an easy-going plant. I'm fascinated by her structure, which boasts a perfect ratio of leaves to buds. Remarkably, I never had to remove a single leaf to improve light exposure. I only topped her twice to open up the canopy. She grew vigorously and effortlessly, requiring just some nutrients and top dressing to keep her happy during the transition to flowering. Her daily water intake was consistently around 1 liter minimum, with only four feedings throughout the entire growth cycle. The result is a plant crusted with trichomes - glittery and gluey, perfect for extraction. Harvesting was a breeze due to the ideal leaf-to-bud ratio. I've kept her remains and continue to water and feed her in an attempt to revegetate. Meanwhile, her outdoor sister is thriving in a hot and sunny environment. I adore her aroma profile, which features only the most pleasant terpenes. The scent is reminiscent of various citrus fruits - pink grapefruit, orange, mandarin, and tangerine - with a creamy touch that's reminiscent of a delicious dessert. There are also floral notes of lavender. I'll continue documenting the Outdoor Girl's progress here. I'm certain I'll grow this strain again, as it has proven to be stable, well-composed, superbly structured, and delicious. Well done, Seedsman!
