Fo' Twenny Back with another update on this awesome little Northern Light Blue Auto from Delicious Seeds! I have been giving plain tap water run through 2 KDF filters as of 9/5 and I moved her into the bloom room under quantum boards set on 12/12 to make room for the next run and maybe help her finish faster. 9/9 - She seems to be bulking up a bit in her last few days, but I waited a day too long to water and got she started to wilt/droop a bit. So, there are a few dead/brown leaves I've been having to pick out of her and thus begins pre-harvest defoliation. 9/13 - More defoliation and put her in a loosely sealed box to give 48-72 hours darkness. Harvest, coming soon. 9/15 - Checked her today and she could still use another day to dry out. I have never tried the darkness before harvest thing, but a lot of growers swear by it. So, I figure, why not? I will let her go until she is a bit drier and then give her the chop! Thanks for checking out my diary. 5/2 she's finally tall enough to spread out and she's looking so fucking good. She's showing sex but I don't think its flowering 5/31 the main stem of this plant is crazy. The branching is abnormal and I can't wait to see what it does.

7/3 fed her some slf-100 and some recharge. She seems happy and super developed for how young she is. Not necessarily very tall but shes got a lot of nodes and seems far into her life for only just starting week 2 7/5 growing just fine. I attempted some LST that failed. Shes too short and stocky

Week Three im happy with the random seed, I see not much of a difference yet, they all look indica or indica-dominant. one plant is most vigorous, all but one are all growing nice. I also popped one seed of fastbuds fast flowering seeds: gorilla cookies, orange sherbert and gg4 sherbert. Everything going nice in week three, seedlings coming along. they will need transplanting soon, but I'm still hoping to see some sex before that, so I can sort out male plants. I am also not sure if the random seed are autos or photoperiod. I still decided that I will top all plants to give the seedling a little time to catch up some more. this week was feeding time. I feed the plants with a biotabs alternative. im not 100% sure with this, but the biovin is used as the startrex, colonize as the bactrex and the bottled nutrients are the orgatrex. two tabs in 11l / 3 gal pots. these nutrients take some time to work. I use biobizz allmix and we transplanted around one week ago. maybe that's a little bit early, but I think it will be fine. in the End of Week 3 I can't see any burns. some nice fungus formed, so I think the nutrients doing its things. i plan to level up my LST-Skills with the random seed plants and probably don't do a lot on the fastbuds plants to even out the difference in lifetime, so that will mean I maybe get less harvest from the fastbuds plants, but that fine for me. we will see how it turns out. thx for checking out my grow, im a first time grower, but I feel like I have earned some knowledge In the last years by educating myself, so I hope the grow is interesting for all the nicely growers here. I don't aim to do everything perfectly, at least I don't monitor everything but I do my best to keep the plants happy and in a good place to grow and flower.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Tras acabar la segunda semana de floración así se presentan las pequeñas. Hemos ido defoliando alguna hoja de la parte baja de la planta, aireando un poco a las niñas por la zona baja . Las plantas ya empiezan a mostrar sus primeras bolitas y empezamos a añadir en la solución top Candy y pk13-14 para ver engordar esas bolitas💚.

Sin grandes cambios. Seguimos con la dieta de fertilización intercalando riegos solo con agua. Reducimos la humedad relativa de forma progresiva.

Muy buenas gente Aquí otra semana más con esta planta y la verdad que viene super bien con muchas ramas, buena estructura y cargándose de resina. Está siendo regada semanalmente con hype company, bioestimulantes orgánicos. Con una temperatura entre 24/25 encendido con todo al 100% Y apagado entre 16/18 Humedad entre 40/45 Veremos cómo sigue la próxima semana.

Oh what a hot week. Perfect for drying buds in the ac. Runtz has a nice haze smell. Cants wait to try the buds and smoke that old school Smelling buds

Week 16! Week 8 of flowering. She is foxtailing on the topmost buds due to light stress. I measured 90k lux(!) at some buds, which is way too much (she got a little out of hand during the stretch, and grew way too tall) She is drinking less and less water and eating less nutrients. I think she is in the harvest window now, even though she is sprouting lots of new pistils. I will cut down and hang to dry next week, in about 5/6 days. Excited!! EDIT: BANANA ALARM Found a banana. There is probably more of them that I can't see because the lower canopy is so packed. Unsure if to harvest now or not. As it is late in flower I don't know if quality will suffer because of a few more days with herming. Opinions? EDIT II: BUD ROT As I inspected the plant today I saw a dead leaf on one of the tops, which I was able to pull right off. Turned out there was bud rot inside the bud. I cut the bud off. Will harvest later today or tomorrow.

10/29 - they are looking real good! Today I’ve moved them to the flower room to acclimate before I flip them. Upped the Mg, Cal, and Carbohydrate in their solution to prepare them for some fat stinky buds! Also got my new lights, controller, and environmental probes. This should be an exciting flower! Running them at 220v 2.37amp draw each. 11/1 - took a video for the first time and gave them some plain ph water

I will be careful every time I encounter an insect problem and use an insecticide, I will eventually get rid of it with a water care method

December 15, day 1, seedling healthy with taproot growing 1.5 inches out of rapid rooter. Transplanted to seedling container. Under 25w Sansi LED untill it is ready for veg lighting. 5 gallon final container prepped with buffered coco/perlite. December 18, day 4. Seedling has had some issues with transpiration, probably due to not enough flushing of the coco. The result is damage to the tips/necrosis of the first true leaves. I flushed the medium and the seedling seems to be recovering. It is sending out more roots and growing at a steady pace. I also moved the seedling into its final pot. This feels a little premature, but it was over growing it's humidity dome. In the final pot it can be covered by clear plastic to maintain humidity. December 19, day 5, new growth is healthy which I am happy about. I will cross my fingers that my quick adjustments fixed the transpiration issues. I am hoping to get it huge and have it trained across the whole 2x4 tent, and it needs to avoid getting stunted for that to happen. 💪🌱 December 20, day 6, I had a bit of a scare when I accidentally knocked my humidity meter and it fell right onto the seedling! The poor thing was knocked right over. It seems to be fine, just leaning a little bit over which will hopefully correct itself in the next few days. December 21, day 7, healthy growing 🌱👍

I've moved lights towards them, so now the lights are 15 cm above them. I've moved a fan a little bit higher, so the wind is not too strong for them now. Hope she will be well now.
