Training and defoliation, plus i decided to transplant two bench plants that were chillin in 500ml cups incase smth goes wrong with the rest but nothing went wrong ofc. So i transplanted them into 3 galons and supercropped so at least i get somewhat even tops. Plan is to veg them 7-10 days more and we go into flowering :)

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Well, this is another new journey with @FastBuds, I know they are great, so this time I will grow 2 girls in a tent, each one will have a separate diary, and here her first week has already passed, everything looks pretty good, in a week she will be transplanted into a 15 liter pot :).

Week 6 Update – Stretch Madness! 🌿 Things are going really well—maybe a little too well! 😅 The stretch has been insane, with the plants reaching 80cm in height and still growing. Honestly, they can stop anytime now! I’m currently watering 3.5L every 36 hours to keep up with their needs. BioBizz#1 – BT15 Everything looks good so far, but I checked the runoff and noticed a pH of 7.5. Not exactly ideal, considering my feed water has a pH of 6.7 without adjustments. Something to keep an eye on. AN#4 – BT15 I’ve reached 100% of the feeding schedule with an EC of 2.5, and she’s handling it like a champ. Since bumping up the nutrients, she’s taken off and even overtaken BioBizz#1 in growth. AN#3 – BT11 She’s been getting an EC of 2.1 for the past few days and seems to love it. At this rate, she’s going to outgrow my tent soon! 🙂

Day 92: Moved the lights to a different hanging formation to get a few more inches up, was at 16" distance in most areas. I probably only have one more trick up my sleeve to get another inch or two if I need it. Video to give a full view. Day 93: Fed with 1Gal of purified water, 6.65 Ph. Day 94: Seems to be filling out, both leaves yet again, and buds now too. Day 95: Power outage yesterday about 3hrs before typical lights out. Battery backup to the timer function in the power strip is probably dead or jostled out of place. It wasn't notice until it had been off for 90 mins, so we choose to leave the light off for the rest of the day as I didn't want to stress anything out by having the lights off for 90m on for 90m and then off again for 12h. Day 96: Well I certainly understand the fruity smell growers referenced. Shout out to RockyRidger for the heads up - the smell is pervasive in the room even with the carbon filter in the tent. Wonderfully fruity and less musky, a bit diesel or citrus if you really get in there. I did another short round of defoliation, much less and more cautious than before. She has little crystals everywhere (better seen in white light tomorrow) near the buds and pistils. I can't seem to get the stickiness off my hands now and I've washed them three times with degreasing soap! Pics in the red spec as I kept just red on for 5 mins longer than normal as I finished up and fed her and wanted to get at least a pic or two in for today. Fed with 1Gal purified water. 2tsp FFBB, 1tsp FFGB, 1.5tsp FFTB, 2ml AN B-52. 6.71pH / 825ppm in, 6.52pH / 1200 ppm out. Day 97: Better shots of some of the glitter we've got going on. Moving right along, tucked inside out of the weather for a couple days but back outside and happy now.

Days 35-42 (Day 36) Some minor problems starting to arise here. A few times this week it got up to 90+ degrees which I think may have caused a bit of heat stress in some of the plants. I’m seeing a bit of cupping/crinkles on some of the fan leaves and some of the new growth is looking pretty gnarled and twisted. I hear windburn can cause this too so I’m turning my fans down to low speed. This could also be a problem with humidity so I’m going to turn off my humidifier, dim the lights and raise them. During my last feeding I mulched in some worm castings but it seems like they’re keeping the soil/coco from drying out. Pots are still decently heavy and even the surface is still quite moist but they aren’t showing any major signs of overwatering. I figure it will only be a few weeks before the castings break down so I will just leave it. A few of the plants are starting to show yellowing leaf tips which is probably some kind of micro nutrient lockout from my PH being slightly too high. It could also be from nute burn so I will water in 6.0 until I see some runoff. Although the most likely culprit is potassium excess. I’ve been feeding potassium almost as much as nitrogen so far. I know that can cause the yellowing of leaf tips by locking out trace minerals. It can also cause leaf problems like crinkling. Excess K can even cause water retention! Will water at 6.0 until run off next watering. The lst is coming along nicely. It was a good idea to remove the first two sets of branches (not leaves). Now I have 4-6 perfectly even stems coming from each plant that I plan to top one more time each. (Day 37) Today I’m going to vacuum, clean, wipe down and spray all my equipment in the tent. I’ve been letting the floor get quite dirty and I haven’t had the chance for a thorough clean since last round. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen any powdery mildew yet. I guess the prevention spray is working because the room has to be infected from my last crop. (Day 40) I was reading that you can foliar spray whatever you are deficient in for an immediate uptake. I‘m going to try that with my current potassium excess since it locks out trace minerals. I’m going to foliar feed a bit of phytoplankton at 15ml/L and some MagnifiCal + VeloKelp from Remo nutrients both at 5ml/L. The cal mag is not organic but as long as it’s not going into the soil and doesn’t contain chlorine I’m fine with it. I’m also going to be changing the light cycle to 18/6 for the remainder of veg. This will be their first dark cycle so they can properly foliar feed. Edit: humidity shot up to 85% a few hours after foliar spray. I went to top dress everything today and I mixed up the plants while doing so! So the ones I was unsure about I gave 1 extra tablespoon. I won’t top dress again for at least 10 days. Might give a light tea sometime next week. I also tilled the shit out of the top of each pot. It had a hard crusty layer on top that was keeping the medium from drying out properly. I’m not going to water again until everything is bone dry. Then I will water until slight runoff at 6.0 ph with some Dr. Marijane bacteria/root probiotic. I’m starting too see a lot more of these abrasions on some of the bigger fan leaves. It almost looks like thrip damage but I’m 100% sure it’s not a pest above ground. It could be bulb mites, which I found in my worm castings but I can’t check until the roots are more established in their pots. The leaves themselves are cold and feel damp to the touch. I haven’t even seen a fungus gnat since I last fed. I’m hoping it’s related to the K excess and clears up with the troubleshooting. (Day 41) Just ordered a wire cube rack to prop my plants up with and help evaporation/root warmth. Each cube is 11.8”x11.8”x11.8” and it comes with 16 cubes. So it will fit just perfectly in my 4x4. Depending on the size, I might order another one for the flower room where I would need 25 cubes.

Tried my hand at training this week, mostly just LST but I did top one (Lank Dawg). The girls seemed to react well. For nutes I'm still just following the GP3 feed schedule for ratios but keeping it on the low end of their recommended PPM (recommended 550-650/ I'm running around 500) - I'm also adding Biodiesel Aloevate for silica plus a bunch of other good stuff.

3 of the ladies are in flush will be cutting them down within the next or 2 & the other 2 probably have another month left! Fingers crossed for harvest!🤞🏼✌️🏼🌱

Very easy to grow, this is my second Gorilla Zkittlez and both grew without problems

23rd of July - Attempting to let the soil get “dry”. See what Mother N has to say about that. Day 3 w/no rain ! The Soil is still very moist - Last fed on the 20th - Foliar Spray in the a.m. just to tease - boy does the audio sound bad on the phones Video !! Kinda historic, sorryboutthat 24th, - added some Epsom Salts to todays feed, magnesium and sulfate for the Soil. GOOD READING AVAILABLE... - went ahead and fed on day 5, iffy weather all around. GO - only 2 gallons used 25th, - killer day finally after more rain lst nite - re-positioned two questionable side-branches, down low and in front. Whole plant is open. Not a leaf to remove. Anybody thats done this style of grow, let me know if theres a hole in the program. *** smoked some of the Beaver Seeds; Maui Wowie Autoflower that I recently grew, you know, while tending the plant today… well laugh at the fact that the 15% thc of the famous dope truly kicks Butt; seriously good weed - “next” Meal posted above, beginning the transition to bloom nutrients ! - activity at the Bud-sites is picking-up 26th, - amended the plant base w/ 2 cups of liquid phish-poop lol - next proper meal posted above ~eta 30th or 31st - anxious to get the Bloom nutes in & running 29th - big, long, burp, after sliding 3 gallons of “transition-food” into Jack - Meal is posted above with no Molasses today; TDS 1400ppm - started a MONTHLY inclusion of dissolved Epsom Salts. I will be including it in Foliar applications as well, w/ Fulvic Acid.
