The colours are popping! I’ve started to taper off the nutrients, I don’t typically “flush” the plants, but rather taper nutrients down until I have been able to give straight phd water for the last 3-4 feeds, making sure to water until I get about 5-10% runoff. I’ve tried both methods , the other being that I pour like 10 gallons of water through the plant, and I can’t tell the difference with my smoke, still clean and very tasty. I did a small defoliation at the end of the week, and added a support pole for the 1 lady in the far back, she was already starting to lean… just a couple of weeks to go !

🌸 Week 5 Flower – Frost on the Horizon We’ve reached the midway mark of flower, and the Mango Kush sisters are entering their true production phase. What started as white hairs and clusters is now becoming recognizable bud sites, with calyx swelling, pistils stacking, and resin glands beginning to form. Even though the two phenos are still at slightly different paces, both are showing the strength of Mango × Hindu Kush genetics: dense flower set, uniform branching, and a promise of rich aromas to come. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Update – Adjusting for Signs & Demands This week we observed minor leaf spotting, likely an early sign of calcium/magnesium imbalance. With the canopy pushing hard into bloom, demand for structural nutrients rises. To address this, we adjusted the recipe: Updated Feeding Mix (per liter): • 🌿 Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • 🌿 Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.35 ml (slight increase for leaf support) • 🌿 Aptus All-In-One Liquid – 1 ml (reintroduced for balanced NPK support) • 🌿 Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml • 🌿 Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml Why this change? • All-In-One Liquid provides a steady base of NPK to complement the super soil and ensure no hidden deficiencies appear as flowers bulk. • CalMag Boost increased slightly to help counter early spotting and reinforce leaf health. • Sugar Royal & Green Sensation remain to push terpene, resin, and bud density. 🌱 Educational Takeaway: At mid-flower, nutrition must shift slightly from “steering” to supporting. The plant is now a high-demand engine, and small deficiencies show quickly. Adding back a balanced NPK base (All-In-One) ensures pistil and calyx production doesn’t stall. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment – Riding the Heat The room remains lively but challenging: • 🌡️ Temps: peaking at 31–34°C • 💧 RH: 50–60% • 📊 VPD: ~1.8–2.0 kPa While slightly hotter than ideal, the Mango Kush girls are holding strong thanks to airflow and the resilience provided by biostimulants like Sugar Royal and Regulator. An AC unit is on the way, which will stabilize the climate moving forward. 🌱 Educational Takeaway: High VPD increases water demand, plants drink more, transpire faster, and pull nutrients quicker. This can be beneficial if balanced correctly, but also risky: deficiencies show up faster, and stress can slow bud formation. Monitoring and adjusting is the key. ⸻ 💡 Lighting – Mid-Canopy Power Boost Our lighting orchestra is now running at higher intensity to fuel flower bulking: • ThinkGrow Model One – deep penetration into the canopy • 2× ThinkGrow ICL-300 bars – mid-canopy support, ensuring no shadowed sites • Future of Grow Black Series 600W – full-spectrum coverage • Lumatek Zeus 465W Compact Pro – evening out the footprint PPFD is averaging 750–800 µmol/m²/s, which is perfect for mid-flower. The canopy is even, with bud sites developing from top to bottom. 🌱 Educational Takeaway: Mid-canopy lighting like the ICL-300 prevents “popcorn buds” by ensuring lower sites receive enough light intensity to develop properly. The result: fuller plants, less larf, more usable flower. ⸻ 🌱 Genetics in Action – Mango Kush Week 5 • Pheno #1 – Still ahead, stacking pistils into early bulking buds, beginning to sparkle under macro view. • Pheno #2 – Catching up fast, with strong pistil growth and early calyx development. Though she started later, her structure is filling in beautifully. Both phenos are showing that classic Mango Kush balance: fruit-forward aromas beginning to rise when you brush the flowers, with the Kush backbone promising earthy depth in the final cure. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect & What Not to Expect ✅ Expect this week and next: • Rapid calyx swelling → buds begin “rounding out” • Trichome initiation across sugar leaves • First noticeable sticky texture • Stronger aroma when handling ❌ Not yet: • Full frost coverage (peaks Weeks 6–7) • True terpene explosion (Weeks 7–8) • Final density (Weeks 7–9) 🌱 Educational Takeaway: Week 5 is often where growers get impatient. Resist the urge to overfeed or over-adjust. Buds are setting their foundation now, the bulk and frost come with time. ⸻ 🔄 Recap – The Journey So Far • Weeks 0–2: Seedlings established, Aptus Start Booster support • Weeks 3–4 Veg: Rapid branching, transplant into super soil + Aptus Mycor-Mix & Buffer • Week 5 (Flip): 12/12, stretch begins • Flower Weeks 1–2: Power Buds introduced, lighting expanded • Flower Week 3: Flower set established, pistils everywhere • Flower Week 4: Bulking begins, feeding simplified • 🌸 Flower Week 5 (Now): Buds swelling, trichomes emerging, All-In-One Liquid reintroduced, environment monitored closely ⸻ 🙏 Gratitude To everyone following along, thank you. Each week is a balance of science, art, and patience, and it means a lot to share this journey together. The Mango Kush sisters are teaching us once again: growth happens in stages, and trust in the process brings the best results. ⸻ 💭 Grower’s Note: “This week felt like the garden finally started to sparkle. The first trichomes are here, pistils are building like fireworks, and even with the heat waves, the girls stand tall. Pheno #1 is racing, Pheno #2 is steady — and together, they remind me that nature never grows in straight lines, only in rhythms.” 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. So I’ve only just realised how little these girls have been fed, I’ve just done a 10% run off and they had a low EC of 0.8 so I’ve just given them a high feed, hopefully I should see some difference in the plants over the next few days. I did this simply because they haven’t put on any weight and I’ve done my dates and they’re all @8 weeks and 4 days and they look more like 5 weeks to me, I’ve been over cautious of over feeding that I actually underfed. My bad lesson learned

Well the buds are stacking up pretty well. They have been trying to stretch a little this week so I have been LST branches as they pop up and trying to keep them from getting too close to the lights. Its a really tight fit so going forward I gotta be careful what strains I grow in this cabinet. I will have to get some small/short strains to grow in here and recommendations?

🌹 Pink Rozay Auto B - Week 4 | Early Flowers, Big Dreams 🌹 Some plants quietly follow the rhythm of the room. Others decide to write their own timeline. Pink Rozay Auto B is proving to be one of those special girls. While the entire 8×8 Adventure is progressing beautifully under our 12/12 From Seed experiment, she and her sister have clearly decided they aren’t waiting for anyone. Both have entered flowering noticeably earlier than many of their neighbors, already stacking fresh white pistils and showing that unmistakable transition from vegetative growth into reproductive mode. Whether they’ll ultimately finish well ahead of the others or simply settle back into the group’s pace remains to be seen—but that’s exactly what makes phenotype hunting so fascinating. Every day brings another lesson. This diary is another chapter in documenting that unique journey. ⸻ 🌱 Life Inside the 8×8 Adventure The room continues to evolve into exactly what I hoped this experiment would become. Multiple cultivars… Multiple phenotypes… One environment… …all responding in their own completely unique ways despite receiving identical treatment. Watching these differences emerge is one of the greatest rewards of this project. Pink Rozay Auto B isn’t the tallest plant in the room, nor the widest, but she carries herself with incredible confidence. Every day the structure becomes a little more refined, with new flower sites appearing throughout the canopy while maintaining a compact and manageable shape. She may not demand attention… …but she certainly earns it. ⸻ 🌿 Gentle Training, Better Light Training continues to be extremely light and intentional. Rather than forcing the plant into unnatural shapes, I’m simply guiding her architecture little by little. Low Stress Training continues to spread the branches outward while preserving the natural growth momentum. Combined with regular leaf tucking, more light now reaches the lower developing shoots without removing healthy foliage unnecessarily. It’s amazing how much difference simply moving a few leaves can make. Every exposed node becomes another opportunity for a future flower site, helping create a more balanced canopy while allowing airflow to penetrate deeper into the plant. Sometimes the smallest adjustments deliver the biggest results. ⸻ 🌸 Racing Into Flower One thing is becoming increasingly obvious. Pink Rozay Auto B is moving. Fast. The top flowers are already producing beautiful clusters of bright white pistils, and several lower branches have joined the race as well. Compared with many of the surrounding plants, she’s clearly a step ahead in flower initiation. Whether this means she’ll ultimately finish earlier or simply started blooming sooner is impossible to know at this stage—but that’s part of the excitement of documenting every single week. Nature always has the final word. ⸻ 🌡️ Summer Challenges Continue Summer growing always keeps us humble. Even with the air conditioning working around the clock, keeping temperatures under complete control during the hottest days remains one of the biggest daily challenges. This week the environment averaged: • 🌡️ Day Temperature: 33°C • 🌙 Night Temperature: 25°C • 💧 Relative Humidity: 63% • 🌱 Root Zone Temperature: 21°C • 💦 Nutrient Solution: 26°C • ⚡ EC: 1.35 mS/cm • pH: 6.1 • 🌿 CO₂: 639 ppm Considering the outside temperatures, I’m genuinely pleased with how stable the room has remained. The plants certainly don’t seem to mind. Healthy color, vigorous growth and strong turgor continue to suggest they’re adapting very well. ⸻ Feeding Program This week the feeding schedule remained simple and consistent using the Plagron Terra line: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L The combination continues to promote vigorous vegetative growth while providing plenty of support as flowering begins. No need to complicate things. Healthy roots continue to build healthy flowers. ⸻ 🔬 Looking Forward Over the coming week I’ll continue monitoring her carefully. If she keeps flowering at this pace, she could become one of the earliest finishers inside the entire 8×8 Adventure. Or… She might simply be an early bloomer before settling into the same finishing window as everyone else. Either outcome is exciting. That’s exactly why I love running multiple genetics together—every phenotype tells its own story. Pink Rozay Auto B has definitely captured my attention. Now it’s her turn to show us what she’s truly capable of. ⸻ 💚 Thank You As always, thank you to everyone following this adventure. Every like, every comment, every question and every bit of encouragement makes these journals even more enjoyable to create. A huge thank you to GrowDiaries for providing a place where growers from all over the world can share knowledge and learn together. Massive appreciation as well to Plagron for supplying the nutrition driving this entire run, and to Zamnesia for providing the genetics that make this project possible. Finally… Thank you to everyone following the entire 8×8 Adventure from seed to harvest. Every week brings us one step closer, and I can’t wait to see where Pink Rozay Auto B decides to take us next. Growers Love and happy growing! 🌱💚

The temperature is better with ac, took me sometime to get humidity high. I think I gave it double the food it needed. And I think the hlg 100w v2 3000k was too far away, I set it on 18" for the 2nd week. I notice a lot of yellowing and light vibrant green everywhere and the tip o leaves crawling downwards. And I think they are asking for help. Please help
