This week the smell and bud sites are starting to show. I had to cut out the hygrozyme as it fouls the reservoir no matter what I do. I hand water it when I remember which isn't often. Bumped the EC to 1000 per feeding still at 5x a day with just Floraflex B1 and B2 with CalMag and Drip Clean. Wattage is at 120. Distance is around 16 to 18". Guna do a MAJOR defoliation early next week

Hi all, sorry for the delay, all continues to go very well, she is handling the nutrients very well wit only a very little tip burn. I increased the light a little bit, as I felt that some of the main colas on the side didn't get enough light. Next week I will probably be able to show the little veg-box I built, since the cuttings are slowly outgrowing their current home.

So in the last couple of weeks I tried to make the night time temperature go down enough for them to turn color and they did - the sugar leaves turned a deep bluish green, really nice coloring! I harvested over a 2-day period. Day 1 I hand-plucked the sugar leaves off plants # 1, 2, & 3. Day 2 I hand-plucked plants 4 & 5, trimmed all of them and cut them down whole. I hung them to dry in my closet/former grow room with a boot tray of water with a towel for evaporation. My last grow was a disappointment in the end due to me not realizing how dry it is in the house (here in the living room it's 19% RH due to it being January in Canada and the hot water heating radiators are going full time). When they were dry enough, I did the final trimming, removing all the waste and dividing the buds into 2 classes: Top tier which are the nice tops of the big colas, and 2nd tier, which are the rest. I think I'll learn to make hash with the 223 grams of wet sugar leaves. I'll be adding more to this final entry in the coming days - this has been really tiring! Final numbers for 5 ShishkaBerry plants: Top tier buds (dried not cured) 372g 2nd tier buds (dried not cured) 150g Hand plucked sugar leaves (wet) 223g Waste (Sticks, stems, burnt leaf tips) 128g I'm basing my comments on the taste by the glove-hash I smoked - wow it's really good! UPDATE 1: Today I might have made some tincture or something, not sure. I slow-roasted the dried but not cured previously hand plucked sugar leaves and crumbled them up and put them in a mason jar (51 grams 100% dry weight) and added a little bottle of Absolut Vodka (375 ml). I shook the mixture vigorously for a couple of minutes then placed it in a cool area of the house to sit for a few weeks before a first test - not totally sure what I'm doing here). UPDATE 2: Possibly made Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) out of the Alsolut vodka - ShishkaBerry mixture: I strained it so that there was no plant material, reduced it in a double boiler style, not sure what to do with the gooey stuff that's left as a result.

Ein paar Tage nicht da und dann solche Büsche im Zelt. Das hieß heute gehts ran ans defolieren und Scrognetz einspannen. Zudem haben Sie leider einen ganzschönen VPD Schock erlitten. Habe heute morgen also erstmal eine Ladung Wasser mit Cal/Mag und etwas algamic gegossen und die Lampe höher gehängt. Heute abend ging es dann direkt ans defolieren, da ich ehrlich gesagt, die Woche sonst wenig Zeit finden werde. Jetzt sollen Sie sich erholen und ins Scrog einfügen. Achja mein Sorgenkind, die Sfv Og Kush, hat immer noch deutliche Blattvervorfungen. Werde Sie in der Blüte, wohl um meine Paranoia zu beruhigen, täglich nach Hermaphroditmus untersuchen.

May 24th - Day 97: It's amazing to see how well the babies have recovered. Unfortunately, two of them have pretty much died, but hey, more space for the others to grow! Humidity is still quite unstable because I increased the frequency of watering, but it will be fixed soon. I will update on Sunday. They're drinking really well, about 60L every 2 days for 10 plants. I need to figure out a bigger container to hold enough water for a whole week.

Es wurde Zeit, das Wetter wurde ungemütlich, kalt und regnerisch. Die anderen Pflanzen hatten bereits Schimmel entwickelt und es war auch kein weiteres Blütenwachstum festzustellen. die Trichome sahen auch leicht angebräunt aus, Deshalb wurde geerntet und verarbeitet. Die Ernte der zweiten späten Pflanze war wesentlich geringer aber noch passabel.

I can recommend White Widow from seedsman. This auto plants gets loads of stress from LST, HST, topping, lollipoping, scrog And what's the most important think they finish on time! Great plants, great yeld, great stuff couldn't be better 💪

Woche 5 und der Stretch nach oben beginnt endlich. Die Pflanze ist jetzt 50 cm breit und durch das Topping / Scrogging und dem 4eckigen Terra Aquatica Topf wächst die Pflanze auch quadratisch in das ScrogNetz rein. Höhe 25 cm, ich gebe ihr noch 4 Wochen Vegetation Zeit und stelle dann auf 12/12 um. Sie hat jetzt in 1 Woche fast 10 cm an Höhe gewonnen und trinkt 2 Liter in 3 Tagen. In einem Monat könnte sie 45 cm hoch und 60 cm breit sein. Und zum Schluss eventuell 70 cm hoch und 80 cm. Mein Ziel sind 90g Ertrag..

The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.

All plants potted up 1 -4 are all little bit different. Got 2 extras just in case.. Plants #1,#2,#4 are somewhat similar but different #1is nice healthy green, sharply serrated fat round yet pointed leaves tight internodal spacing. #2 is similar yet has magenta color in veins, but still healthy green leaves,and much tighter than #1s internodal spacing. #3 is similar yet less serrated edge softer look. #4 is similar yet less serrated edge softer look, more magenta color in veins and paler green. All are in same potting mix and environment is also same 01/14/2018 New observations on #1 and#2, both are at 4th mode #1 has 5 fingered leaves, #2 has 7fingered leaves.

FINALLY TRANSPLANTED into 10 gallon pots: Flowering SUPER SOIL COMPOSITION (per 20 gal): Medium: -25% coco loco (sustainably sourced from shrilanka i think) -25% peat moss (sustainably source in north america) -50% recycled depleted soil Amendments: -3 cups Citrus Tone Espoma 5-3-6 -1 cup 4-8-4 Mother Earth Bloom -1 cup 2-3-6 Earth Dust Boost -5 cups worm castings -80g w- 20 wollastanite (si + ca) -80g epsom salts -40g dolomite lime Here is what i am thinking: -Plants look good in the new pots, i figure it will be ready to scrog in about a week. -Never heard of anyone using this citrus tone fert but the utah state study said that optimal fertilizer is 20-10-20 blue mixture. Well as an organic grower I want to replicate that ratio. Its not 100% but the point is its high in nitrogen and potassium with adequate phosphorous because I am researching small scale rn and one day I will need to be very mindful of my P usage to be sustainable and regenerative. -I performed a preventative insect repellent because I saw thrip damage and I want to be safe. Honestly I think I am just going to do a neem oil treatment twice before going into flower every time now. I did 1tsp cold pressed jacks neem oil + 1 tsp w-20 wollastanite per 16 oz spray bottle and I drenched both girls all over. I plan on doing one more the day I decide to flip to flower. -Ca is far more important than phosphorous and the nutrient companies have been milking the myths about nutrient ratios for 50 years.' -I really put focus on the rock dust and inert minerals because I have never paid any attention to them but I will be stressing and pushing these plants with light so i need them optimal. -I started my own compost bin with holes in the back yard and I am planning on buying african night crawlers to start a worm bin that way I have two kinds of compost to break down my bubble hash waste and food from the kitchen. Will be great for teas. -I will water them in with a compost tea I am brewing/aerating currently. Giving it 24 hours.

This week marks the official switch from the vegetative stage to the flowering stage. With the light schedule now adjusted to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness, the plants are entering the crucial phase where all the hard work of vegetative growth will start to pay off in the form of buds. 🌼 Flowering Transition 🌼 Light Schedule: The light schedule has been reduced to 12 hours on and 12 hours off, which signals the plants to begin flowering. I'm aiming to maintain a Daily Light Integral (DLI) of around 40 to optimize bud development. Greenhouse Super Lemon Haze 🌞 Responding quickly to the light change, with the first signs of pre-flower pistils emerging. The even canopy from LST will help the plant distribute energy effectively to multiple bud sites. Humboldt Seed Bubba Kush 🌿 This compact, bushy plant is beginning to show signs of entering the flowering stage. Its strong structure is set to support what should be a dense, resinous bud formation. Blueberry Muffin 🥞 Continuing to exhibit robust growth, with the first signs of transition into flowering. The dense frame developed during veg should result in a productive flowering stage. 🌱 Continuing Care 🌱 As the plants transition, I'll be adjusting their care to support this new phase: Nutrient Adjustment: Shifting to a flowering-focused nutrient schedule with increased phosphorus and potassium to support bud formation, while gradually reducing nitrogen. Environmental Control: Monitoring and adjusting temperature and humidity to ideal levels for flowering, ensuring the environment promotes healthy bud development. Training & Defoliation: Continuing LST and selective defoliation to maintain an even canopy and improve light penetration to lower bud sites. 🌸 Looking Forward 🌸 The plants are now in the flowering stage, and this is where the real magic happens. Over the next few weeks, we'll start to see bud sites develop and eventually swell into full, aromatic flowers. A good week for ICC photo. I topped her and started bending branches for some horizontal development. Once she’s covering the entire pot with some budsites and tops I will let her start stacking nodes vertically. I am using “garden hooks” I’ve made with metal food skewers and will use those to bend and guide branches outwards. Feed is the same really and I am really digging it so far, Gaia green and coco loco for a supersoil type grow in regards to waterings and feeds. No ph checking, no dechlorinating water, just tapwater and a few add ins like fishshit and recharge, a seaweed/kelp foliar, and worm castings/topdresses. Trying this routine out and hope to be able to reamend the pot and drop again. This plant is in midweek5 of veg and has about 6-8 weeks to go before I can flip her to flower.

Jetzt sind wir schon in der Woche 5 :) Die buds werden sichtlich dicker, voller und harziger. Nun stellt sich mir die Frage wann ich die beiden Schönheiten ernten soll? ich hätte gedacht ich ernte in 1-2 Wochen, aber vorher möchte ich mir die Meinung von den Profis hier abholen :) Zu dem würde ich jetzt anfangen die Erde auszuwaschen, damit der Geschmack von den Düngern nicht ruiniert wird.
