GG12 is putting out buds like crazy even though she’s quite small, I think I’ll still get a decent harvest from her. The Alien OG and Pineapple Express both had a few branches that needed supercropping to keep the canopy nice and even. Stretch looks over and the 3 not named GG12 are just starting to bud out. Girls are Only getting plain water and look super healthy. Excited to see what the next week brings. Thanks for stopping by and add my grow please.

Day 56-63 (Day 57) I might have to fix the light to the roof of the tent so I can get another 3 inches up. The ppfd is just too intense at this height. The node stacking is super tight, I’m seeing some droop on almost every plant and the plants just look stunted. I might have to take out the big shelf I just paid 90$ for and raise the light to get the ppfd level down. This happened my last grow as well. It’s a great light for flowering but sucks ass for veg unless it’s hung 5’ above the canopy. I’ve seen videos of others with the same light and they have to fix it to the roof. The dimming function only works with a master controller I don’t have the money for right now. Pulling bbb #2. I’m seeing very small but clear pollen sacks. It’s also drooping like crazy. The roots don’t look as healthy as some of the other males I pulled earlier. They have a slight brown tinge but still mostly white. I wonder if I accidentally gave top dressed it too many times when I mixed them all up a while ago. I’m going to transplant bbb’s #1, #3, #6 & #7 into my 10 gallon destiny/coco pots lightly water. This is kind of a gamble because 2 of them are not showing definitively. Although I’m about 75% sure they’re fems. If not, I got my two backups. (Day 58) I was reading about symptoms of high PH and I definitely have it indicated by the twisted and stunted growth on top. I’m going to try to water in a full gallon at 5.8 and see if I get a good response. I sprayed the pump nozzle directly into the soil after it was empty to put some oxygen into that big 10g pot. The blackberry I gave the lowered PH water too noticeably responded within a few hours. The clawing has pretty much stopped and it now looks like the healthiest plant in the tent. I’m going to see how it responds over the next few days then try it with my other plants if everything looks good. I’m going to try it with bbb #5 in the 1.7g pot and see if it responds in the same way. I ran a gallon of 5.8 water through 1.7g and got less than a 100ml of runoff which is a little surprising. The runoff measured 1750ppms which seems a little on the high side but isn’t insane for peat based soil. (Day 59) Wow. The plants responded to that little PH adjustment insanely well. #5 isn’t dropping at all and the leaf wrinkles are actually flattening out. It’s starting to look like one of the healthiest plants in the tent. I’m still hoping for #5 to show female. 5 plants would cut my veg time down and give me another opportunity for a keeper pheno. All 4 plants are looking like they’ve already recovered from their transplant. #1 in particular was drooping like crazy yesterday and today it’s bounced back and looking happier than ever. I’m seeing a bit of tip droop on a few plants but they still seem fine I wonder if because my soil is 50% coco I should try watering on the acidic side, around 6.0-6.2 from now on. I’m almost certain that solved all the issues I was having. (Day 62) Plants are all looking really healthy. They all seem to have outgrown the initial light stress actually but node stacking is still really tight and I hope to raise the light up next week sometime. I’m going to drop the humidity to 60% for the rest of veg. These pots are massive and I’m still a little worried about dry downs but they aren’t showing any signs of overwatering or lack of oxygen. BBB#3 is starting to show some weird discoloring like an mag or nitrogen deficiency. Which is weird because it’s freshly transplanted into nitrogen rich soil. Guess I will give it a kelp foliar spray. I’ve been looking for a good organic source of K without an absurd amount of magnesium and sulfur like langbeinite has. I found some 0-0-15 kelp/seaweed extract in soluble crystal form. So from time to time I will water that in at half strength or with compost teas to keep my soil K dominant. (Day 63) I’m still waiting on #6 to show sex. I am shocked it hasn’t shown sex yet. Although it was started a week and a half after the others but still. I’m going to be so pissed if it ends up being a male. I’m taking a gamble but I’m confident it will show female when the time comes. bbb#3 got a little more color back from that foliar spray. Hope that doesn’t get worse because it’s my favorite pheno so far. I will give a N boost in the form of compost tea tomorrow afternoon to both of my tents. I’m starting to utilize the scrog net and boy does it make training way easier. This seems to be a much smarter style of growing for yield and quality. I’m getting tired of these pH fluctuations every time I water. I’ve been eyeballing for the most part and I need a consistent formula. I found the perfect mix to stabilize my RO water and stabilize the pH at 6.2. I moistened the top soil of each plant and will watch for any reactions. Water recipe: 60ml bottled water 2000ml RO water 3ml calmag 2ml microbes

Temps at 78-84 f, humidity inside dome around 68-76 depending on temps. Direct planting into coco jiffy plugs, charged with a light seaweed extract. Took 2 days exactly for seed to pop out of plugs. Another day to remove its shell, will start counting as day 1 from here on out. Check out the other strains on my other diaries. 1 gelat.og auto and a green crack auto, both from seedsman.

Schwächelt leider ein wenig aber ich hoffe das die sich noch gut erholt. Ursache ist mir noch unklar aber es hat erst angefangen als ich sie in den Boden gepflanzt habe.

Trichomes are looking milky and full. Going to give one more light feeding, and then flush em towards the end of the week. G13 has some calyxes that are growing in top of existing bud... possible this one keeps growing for another week, but seems like Banana is ready to go. Is there any downside to getting one gallon sized Mason jars for curing? I've yet to have a successful dry/cure, so really hoping to dial it in this time with the proper climates.

Flushed all plants as I used to hot of a soil mix as I am new to organics and don't know how to follow instructions but learned my lesson will always read instructions and follow recommended doses plants got much worse than in week 1 after flushing took plants 2 more days to grow even a millimetre but seem to be back on track this week was very humbling to me . Still plants look terrible now that there flushed hope next week is better. Also got fungus gnats so treating with sticky traps and diatomaceus earth.

patience .... she has a mint smell on her stem and smells of forest too ... she is taking shape with her buds ... she looks great outdoors ... she continues with her natural fertilizers .... every 10 to 15 days and these are their results ... I am struggling with some worms in the leaves of my plants but I am dedicated to finding one by one the worms ...

Thinking I might pull her tonight! Looks so good! 6/29 pulled her tonight she looks and smells great! Not drying the whole plant this time. I had to cut her before I could move her out of my tent so her branches didn't snap from the weight of the buds. Can't wait to see what she comes out too!

Damn this strain is something else I’ve never smelt anything this potent and exotic! Ripper seeds really out did themselves with this one .. I would say that the only downside is that one of the pheno’s came out looking too regular for me .. I’m strain hunting so finding something truly perfect is my goal and in this run I can’t say I found any keepers but I would definitely recommend trying this strain ! I promise it’s like nothing you have ever tasted or smelled before!

11/08- Week 4 of flower and the buds are really stacking up. The smell is getting stronger and the plants have pretty much reached their final height. The height of the tallest stem is 70cm which is perfect as it gives me about 50 cm of space between the light. I will water them today with some nutes. 16/08 - watered both plants with 1L of water ph 7. Increased amount of nutes as I noticed the plants are demanding more. 20/08 - watered again with 1L of just water ph 7. Hope you have a great day! Peace

We enter the magical moment and do it with a surprise, we will be for a lot of time in collaboration with Marshydro and thanks to this we have a brand new light setup and truly top tent. The two Dark Phoenix are coming to the end. The first plant the most regular with a topping to 16 pounds has raised and inflated well and regularly all 16 and practically they are more or less at the same level at the time they are going to do the final sprint they scare. Beautiful peaks see them mature will be a joy. The second plant had a problem with the leaves I think a deficiency or excess of something, I am doing a pH 6 flush to make the nuts absorb and give an enahcer bang before the end. There are both and looks like the top. Immediately after the Flush the last wintered with Enahncer is scheduled and then only Flush. LIGHT >> MARSHYDRO SP3000 AT 100% OF POWER, we already like it so much because it covers the intact length of the tent. 🌸 Lava Cake – Week 5 Flower Report 🌸 We’ve reached Week 5 of flower — such an important and defining stage in the Lava Cake journey. Both phenos are shining, evolving beautifully, and filling the room with life and energy. It’s a week full of growth, observations, and some lessons to share. ⸻ 🌿 Current Status • Both plants are looking healthy, vigorous, and branching strong. • White hairs (pistils) continue to thicken and spread — the first signs of real bud-building. • Leaves show some spots, likely a touch of CalMag deficiency. This is not uncommon at this stage, as the plants’ demands for calcium and magnesium rise sharply during heavy metabolic activity. To support them, I’ve kept the full nutrient recipe steady this week and reintroduced Aptus All-in-One Liquid to strengthen the nutritional foundation and bounce them back quickly. ⸻ 💧 Nutrient Recipe (Week 5) • Aptus Regulator – cell wall support & stress resistance • Aptus CalMag Boost – to address spotted leaves and support photosynthesis • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – reintroduced this week to balance the base nutrition and help recovery from early deficiency signs • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal & Green Sensation – pushing bud development, resin, and flavor complexity ⚠️ Note on feeding adjustments: This week we removed Top Booster from the mix. While it’s a great stimulator during certain flower stages, running it alongside Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation risks overlapping too much PK. Too much of a good thing can cause stress, salt build-up, or nutrient lockouts. By keeping the recipe focused and balanced, the Lava Cakes can thrive without overload. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment • Temperatures: Lower this week (relief!) thanks to cooling efforts. • Humidity: Still running a little high, sometimes hovering beyond the ideal. • Airflow: Two 6-inch exhausts + intake, all carbon filtered. This, along with fans inside, should keep the air moving and avoid stagnant moisture pockets. ⚠️ Note: Higher humidity at this stage can invite mold or mildew risks, but with strong airflow and constant air renewal, we’re reducing the chances. If issues arise, we’ll face them directly and adjust. ⸻ 🎥 Media Update This week includes: • Outside photoshoots – capturing their beauty under LED light. • Close-ups – showing detail of leaves, bud sites, and trichome sparkle starting to appear. • Video clips – giving a fuller view of the room, the setup, and how the girls are thriving. ⸻ 🔄 Quick Recap for New Readers From seed in the Cannakan ➝ early veg under Black Series LED ➝ transplant into 11L fabric pots with Aptus super soil base ➝ branching and stretching under TrollMaster-controlled environment ➝ to now, Week 5 of flower, where the Lava Cakes are stacking up and turning into queens. Each step has been intentional: careful watering from below to build root strength, dialing in nutrients, setting up airflow, and slowly stabilizing environment. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect (and Not to Expect) Expect: • Continued flower stacking and calyx swelling over the next two weeks. • Aroma development beginning to intensify. • Slight yellowing or spotting on older leaves (normal as energy redirects to flowers). Not to Expect: • Full bulk yet — this comes in the later weeks, especially 6–8. • Perfect leaves everywhere — in flower, the plant focuses on buds, not flawless foliage. ⸻ 🌎 Closing Thoughts Week 5 is about listening and responding. The Lava Cakes showed us some leaf spots, and in return, we adjusted by reintroducing All-in-One Liquid while simplifying the booster recipe. Removing Top Booster avoids nutrient overlap and keeps the focus on a clean, balanced mix. This isn’t just about correcting deficiencies — it’s about preparing them for the heavier bloom demands to come. With lower temperatures, steady airflow, and a carefully tuned recipe, the girls are thriving. Every day brings more white hairs, more structure, and more anticipation for what’s ahead. ⸻ 🔬 Science Spotlight: Nutrient Antagonism One of the biggest hidden challenges in mid-flower is nutrient antagonism — when too much of one element blocks the uptake of another. • Excess phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) (often from bloom boosters) can interfere with calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) absorption. This can show up as leaf spotting, rust marks, or weakened stems even if those nutrients are technically present in the soil. • By removing Top Booster this week, we reduced the PK load and allowed CalMag supplementation to actually reach the plant without being locked out. • Balance always beats excess. The goal is steady, accessible nutrition, not maxing out one element. This principle is key to avoiding deficiencies during bloom: feed enough, but not too much of any one thing. ⸻ 🔬 Trichome Spotlight If you look closely at the close-ups this week, you’ll notice the first tiny crystals beginning to coat the flowers and nearby leaves. These are trichomes — microscopic resin glands that play a central role in the plant’s defense, flavor, and potency. ✨ What are trichomes? Trichomes are specialized structures on the plant’s surface that produce and store secondary metabolites: • Cannabinoids (like THC, CBD, CBG) • Terpenes (the aromatic compounds that give unique smells and flavors) • Flavonoids (contributing to color, taste, and subtle effects) Essentially, trichomes are the plant’s biochemical factories. 🌿 Why are they appearing now? In early flower, the plant begins to shift its energy from vegetative growth to reproduction and protection. Trichomes serve several evolutionary purposes: • Protection from UV light – the resin acts like sunscreen. • Pest deterrence – sticky, bitter compounds discourage insects. • Moisture regulation – resin helps buffer against stress. That’s why, right as buds begin to stack, you see an explosion of these glittering glands. 🔮 What to expect as they develop? • Density will increase week by week, eventually frosting the buds and sugar leaves. • Color will change: clear → cloudy/milky → amber. These stages are often used to decide harvest timing. • Aroma will intensify as terpenes concentrate, bringing out Lava Cake’s dessert-like profile. 🍯 The chemistry inside • Terpenes – molecules like limonene (citrus), myrcene (earthy), and caryophyllene (spicy). They don’t just shape aroma; they influence the entourage effect, modulating how cannabinoids feel. • Flavonoids – often overlooked, but they add subtle notes to flavor and can have antioxidant properties. • Cannabinoids – still forming now, but ramping up in mid-to-late flower. 🌸 Why this matters Seeing trichomes appear in such numbers this early is a sign of plant health and genetic quality. It means the Lava Cakes are channeling their energy toward flower defense and resin production — exactly what we want in a premium run. From here, it’s all about nurturing them without stress so trichomes can fully mature, delivering not just potency, but flavor and aroma complexity at harvest. They’re queens in the making — and with patience, love, and attention, they’ll reward us with something truly special. 🌸✨ 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Well, things are not going really good.. first time grower problems! #3 has nitrogen toxicity - i think that because the soil is very rich and i gave her even more nutes. Only water for now.. #1 and #2 are the ones that look better 🙏 And the Big Bud is bad, really bad.. when she started looking lime green and pale (looked nitrogen defeciency) so i raised the nutes, but few days later when i tested the run off ph it was too much low (orange color, in those cheap ph test kit) i dont have a ph pen yet, so i think it was nutrient lockout. I did a flush until the run off was close to yellow on the test (near 6.0) and now im waiting to see if it gets better.. I waited to long to giver the flush, and some bottom leaves died, at this stage i think i will have nothing to harvest from this plant 😥 23/06/2021 Now plants #1 #2 are also showing signs of some deficiency, run off was very low again so i flush them and increased the nutes..

Lots of bloom spots are popping up everywhere! The smell is getting intense. Smells like lemons/citrus fruits, very sour but earthy. Easy grow so far.🤞🌿🙆‍♀️Video is the girls in their small tent with my temporary DIY ventilation lol. Take a look! 🙏😍❤️🙆‍♀️ Also thinking of starting trellis netting this week, what do you all think? I would be using the 3 inch square netting. Also need recommendations for a grow light for the autoflowers remaining cycle and for future grows coming soon!

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of 3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I am very excited to see how the new growroom will work and how this CBD Fast Eddy plant from Royal queen seeds will turn out. CBD Fast Eddy Automatic is combining Cheese x Juanita la Lagrimosa x Ruderalis, Fast Eddy is a rapid growing, flavourful, and CBD-rich auto strain that goes from seed to harvest in 8-9 weeks, produce generous yields, and induce a clear, mellow, and most importantly, functional high. THC: 9% CBD: High Yield Indoor : 400 - 450 gr/m2 Yield Outdoor: 80 - 130 gr/plant Height Indoor: 60 - 100 cm Height Outdoor: 80 - 120 cm Flowering: 6 - 7 weeks Harvest month: 8-9 weeks after sprouting Genetic Background: Cheese x Juanita la Lagrimosa x Ruderalis Type: Sa 50% In 40% Ru 10% Effect: Clear, Painrelief Climate: Mild .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. Update 2017-08-15. Both seeds have germinated and planted in small pots inside the humidity dome. I'm so glad it worked so well and now it's just hoping they'll start growing and become 2 big healthy girls :) ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Update 2017-08-16. I have mixed my own soil today. Its 40% sieved peat harrow H2-H4 0-30 mm, 45% sieved peat harrow H4-H6 0-30 mm. 5% sand and 10% of compost soil. And i use 15% of perlite and mix it all together. ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Update 2017-08-20. These girls are much slower to germinate and to start growing than the other 6 girls I started at the same time. One of the germinated seeds split in half, so I had to take a new seed and germinate it. It took 2 days. It was just a smal taproots after germination with this strain as opposed to my Fastbuds cbd. But I hope everything goes well from now and that they live up to their name, Fast Eddy. ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ Update 2017-08-21. New pics. ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ 2017-08-22. Nr1 dident make it and died. Started germinate a new seed to get another Nr1. .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. 2017-08-27. Nr 1 is in a small pot in humidity dome and i hope shes going to break the surface soon. Nr 2 is slow but doing fine. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-08-28. Nr2 is transplanted in 15 liter autopot. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-08-29. New movie of the girls Nr2. Its no water for 3 days now so the roots develop more and match the plant above the soil. The temp controlled fan is awesome, its easy to set what temp you like to have in the room. Right now its 28 celcius. And humidity is 56%. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-08-29. Hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I just want to say that I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-08-30. Cleaned the room this morning, just vacuuming and cleaning with chlorine solution. Im testing the fan to control temp and humidity, it works great. Added a movie. Everything is looking great right now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2017-08-31. 3 New pics. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2017-09-01. New pics and a video of the grow room from today.
