11/17 Week 8 Man I will be glad when this grow is over, if making mistakes promotes learning well... Im a fricking PHD ... Ok progress on Maggie the yellow is limited to the very top as buds are building in particular those a couple inches from the top. Thinking another root drench is in order, cant hurt and letting her dry a bit as a prep. Looks like tomorrow Layla doing ok she exhibits far fewer problems but the same issue are present she is just a hell of plant along with the Runtz which she shares the tent. Thinking about the feeding tomorrow will decide what to do then. They have plenty of time to finish up, had some issues on germination on the grow following so looks like it may be delayed a week from the scheduled 2 weeks. Maggie may need it. 11/19 Have stumbled onto to something it seems. The further I move the lights out, they are now at twice the "ideal" placement of 14" at 28" and the yellowing is disappearing to a great extent. Problem with this of course is not enough light at bud sites not on the canopy which lets face it is most of your bud. It is absolutely something that makes the plants insanely susceptible to light burn. New one for me but maybe some of yall know so making a question of it. Pics at lights out only and I missed today so new pics later if I get back in time. Update : Defoliated and tightened training on all three to spread things out from the center and open up the light and air paths. Raising the lights is working just wish I knew why as lights are higher than crap with little room for more than a few more inches. Would drop the watts to 450 but need the heat to keep the grow room level as our temps here swing 40 degrees all the time. Something I learned with the help of a carbon filter. If things normalize will begin dropping lights to see what happens. 11/20 Setting the lights at 24" as I am not risking yield any further than that on Layla and the Runtz, Have the canopy as level as it can be with Brandy getting the least light being on a coco coir block (heh) for height, which she is responding well to since I opened up the plant and no longer worried over mold issues in that main bud. Have Layla on a milk crate to bring her into decent light as well as the Runtz. She is just a lovely thing building those white crystalline buds. Maggie has turned into a beast at least I know her root ball is huge from the growth above. Seriously defoliated her removing several small lower branches and leaves blocking light and air paths. Next feed will be continuing what seems to be working, Epsom salt and bloom nuets (no calmag with epsom salt) with a foliar feed after lights out which may well be with calmag. Foliar feeding today at lights out, one quart sprayer with 1ml CaliMagic and 0.5ml wetting agent un-PH warmed to 75 F before spraying (our tap water comes out at @50F so...), just trying to hit hard and effective * New Pics after foliar Update Folks its taken 8 weeks and a final piece of the puzzle provided by Grey_wolf resulted in a near full strength cal-mag foliar feeding and the last def bites the dust. See what happens from here but its the first time I have felt good about this grow since the bad time germing at week one. *big sigh of relief* Have a whole list of things I will never do again in soil more about that at harvest. YEA!!!! That's what comes to mind every time I check out my grow space and see such beautiful plants growing especially my C4 Auto from fastbuds she coming along so beautifully it brings joy to my heart all I do is give her light and bat turd water mix and raw bat turd and let her take off I planted her sister on the outdoors to see the difference between the two indoor is looking a lot better to me . The plats are not been trained, defoliated or anything, grown naturally. I’m blown away how fast this plants are growing. First time outdoors and the experience is very nice, I love the fact it requires little to no effort, in the setup I have chosen. As it is raining a lot, I’m using only a dry amendment I have built to use on them periodically, this way I’m not adding more liquids to the root system that is already highly saturated, essentially I’m using the following recipe update, I don’t know if it is correct but I live it all mixed. Use about a table spoon and a half every 15 days. - Azomite 500g - Natural fosfate 500g - Biochar 1kg - Bokashi 1kg -Kelp meal 500g -Mamona meal 1kg -chicken meal 1kg -Potassium silicate 500g -Gypsum farm 500g -Diatomaceous earth 500g -Bunny guano 300g -Bat guano 1kg -Oyster shell powder 1kg -Cow blood meal 1kg -Cow bones powder meal 1kg. -Wormcastings, spare use not in the mix. The plants are showing good coloring, no fade and no deficiencies, the green is not to deep, nor too light. As the leafs are taking a lot of water and strong sun and wind, the leafs are feeling a bit. As the wind is high since day 1 the stems are very resistant, strong. The Fastberry Is on the smaller size if compared to the other plants, together with the Banana purple punch, then we have the Bluedream and the CBD crack on the larger sizes thriving a lot, I expect to approach the end of flowed in a few weeks, the girls are very fast indeed. I’m looking forward to collect the fruits :)

Day 106. Girls are really fatten up, even bottom airy buds, get some mass into them on Gorillas. Control Garden is like two weeks behind, so i will feed those 3 longer, all other girls in the middle of this week will get theirs last feed. So approx end of week 18 is chop day for RQS run. Very sad situation, trying not to think about pollination . Never had pollinated garden before, so its hard to make any calls ... Time will show. Day 108. Girls avoided pollination with minimal damage .. Found like 20 real seed spots, hope it will be double that max in total. They are fading and maturing, one more big mistake, left them too bushy , they needed lolitoping higher, loads , millions of airy smallest of all smallest buds ;)) One Cookie going crazy purple .. Pure water and looks like all job is done, still checking for hermies every day ... You search for mistakes instead of enjoying , stupid situation really ... Day 109. Three Gorillas are ready, i don't know how, but calaxies went pinky,violet,grey, didn't mature enough, so really airy and leafy buds.... All pistils are brown and curly Trichs are milky with at least 30% amber. I think they just couldn't make it ; Too weak light, Too small pots, Went too gentle with lolitop, mostly airy shitty outdoor type buds, Had pollination, could stop them from maturing and just putting efforts into seeds. Made mistake with watering almost dried them out on week 5 of flower, after that many pistils died and not many new flowers formed. Bad attempt with CheckPoint intention, back to drawing board ... ;)) Night 110. Girls are ok, smell amazingly, fades slowly but steady. One Cookie went absolute purple, really nice colours, but no buds tho .... And don't know how i did my homework, but after checking seedfinder for flowering time info i don't know how i decided to go with this strains ... Gorillas are amazing, just low yielders. Control Garden is flying, some buds are real size grenades, pure joy to watch them grow ... Happy Growing !

Giorno 42 Avendo avuto problemi alla penna ph e relativi segni sulle foglie ho deciso di effettuare un flush e di passare ad Advanced Nutrient. Dopo 6 giorni circa la terra si è asciugata e ho ricominciato la fertilizzazione. Le piante sono un po' pallide ma sicuramente in questi giorni prima della fioritura si riprenderanno. A settimana prossima 🖐️ ❤️

Had issues with my phone hence lack of updates. first batch of seeds did not germinate except for one Blueberry headband, 2 strains which are in here and not mentioned are part of a growoff happening under the Growconsultant PTA (black domina xxl auto and Mantanuska thunder)

I’ve turned the light power down from 75% to 65% to help in maturing the plant. This brings the canopy’s DLI to about 40. The trichomes were checked this week (see pictures). Mostly milky in appearance, with few clear and amber. A good sign she is well into the finishing phase. Mephisto Genetics Double Grape 4th week of Flowering 29th December 2019 This plant is really starting to impress me with it's smell and stickiness. Also the main stem seems to filling in with bud beautifully with very little spacing between branches that arent covered with bud growth. I gave her a 1/3rd of a cup of Mr B's Green Trees Bloom mix and a 1/4 tspoon of Great White. Thats it for this week See you back here in 2020 😁

Das kleine 150 Watt Licht macht sich bemerkbar. An Tag 40 sind sie schon etwas zu sehr ausgetrocknet. Dann mit 2L pro Pflanze gegossen.

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Moved to a bigger tent and added two additional plants so I could have everything in one spot. The plants in this diary are on the left side of the tent and along the back wall. The other plants are another GSC clone that is a little smaller, and a Wedding Cake from Seedking.com. they are being grown the same way as the others. I'm very impressed with how the GSC clones are flowering relative to the gorilla glue. They are just way more dense and bigger flowers. Fingers crossed the gorilla glue fills out.
