Love GHE nutes. Perfect for both indoor and out but a lot of work mixing by hand when they’re in these pots and flowering. That’s why I switched to Gaia Green dry ferts for flower. But GHE Floratrio will continue to be a staple for my indoor garden.
2020-10-07 (Day 205)
Trimmed up my Girl Scout Cookies over the last couple days.
-I trimmed fan leaves while the plant was still intact,
-then cut branches and debudded them,
-Buds were then wet trimmed with a bowl trimmer
-Buds were then washed in 1cup H2O2 : 5 gallon water solution,
-Buds then rinsed off in pure water.
-put on drying rack in tent and humidity controlled at 55%-60% with dehumidifier, temp at 65F and two fans running,
-after about 4 days buds were put in air proof 5 gallon pale to cure.
Original Sensible Seeds’ Girl Scout Cookies is a great strain for our climate. Extremely WPM resistant and not one spot of bud rot. Mainlining was a great experience, resulted in some massive colas! This strain produces rock hard dense nugs that permit an easier trimming experience. 9/10 on the mold resistance scale as there was very minor WPM on some fans.
I trimmed and jarred 751g (dry) and am super happy with the yield. I already harvested one of her clones that was forced to flower earlier and have 1 more clone to harvest.
I will update taste and effects soon once cured for a bit. All in all this thing was the easy to grow, no broken mains and the mainline worked very well. I recommend growing this 100% Outdoors in our climate. I will update smell, taste and effects.
Congestion of 256 colas.... our shitty unstable weather. Might be a Ontario botrytis accident waiting to happen. But with adequate spacing and separation through training and some luck weather wise. Could be a huge trim party waiting to happen.
Unbelievable. This is a special build man. Very, very nice. You're kicking ass out there and all your girls are looking great👌. All that space! Little jealous, haha.
Cheers man, keep er up🙂👍
Looking good man! It appears I'm behind on your updates, but better late then never. Looking to use Gaia Green Bone meal 2-16-0? If so, I used it last grow during pot up from 3 to 5, as I was having wild pH swings. If you use It outdoors, I've been warned about dogs! They smell bone and start digging to look for it, hahaha. Anyways man, I feel that's a good move👍. Also, if you're looking to transplant outside, check out a rooting powder agent. Been around for ever and just a basic rooting hormone. I use "root stim #1" for softwood. Insta-Tap, no delay, no burn👍👍.
Cheers and good luck this week. Disregard unsolicited advice if needed, haha. I'm just spit balling 😅
@ButtersStotch, I trust Gaia and whatever works for their outdoor applications, I trust it'll do just dandy. I used the promix too... and my pH also swung down too, even with soil conditioners. Currently trying to raise it right now. Hmmmm, maybe a different medium next time(?).
And cool man! Those rooting agents are fantastic in small amounts. Plus it's biobizz so you can trust it'll be quality and actually work👍. And visa versa. Ever see something amiss with my grows or have suggestions when I run into issues, please! don't hesitate to drop me a line and throw me some knowledge. I'll take it all man, seriously, haha.😀
Hope you have a great week with the kids man. I feel they're going to start moving real fast on ya, real quick here. Great! Cheers man👊
@JinksyGrows, thanks for the warning about the dogs! I Didn’t even look into the bone meal but it think I may do that now man thanks! I was thinking of using the 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 to top dress throughout. I want to wait a bit as I think my soil may be a bit hot as it’ll be 50/50 promix hp and soil from the cows barnyard. After transplant I’ll see how shocked they get and may use the ghe for another week or two until they get adjusted. I actually have some root stuff I won back on my first grow from bio buzz I haven’t used that I may end up mixing up for the transplant now that you mention it. And I never disregard advice, its welcome and appreciated!
A majestic monstrosity. Wonderful to behold. If the weather cooperates she’s going to be spectacular. Have you considered building her a mini greenhouse?
looking wonderful and this will be a huge monster for sure! I'd wrap some support around that main stem to prevent splitting it in half, what do you think? did it ever happen to split the stem in half?
@@occultgreen420, yes my gorilla glue was supposed to be mainlined as well but I split the stem so I abandoned the method in that case. I will definitely be supporting the stems in the next couple weeks, definitely before flower starts!
Nothing like an outdoor grow like this one - very nice job 👌 love the size of the plants and training applied - hope the weather aligns well for those crackers growing 🤞
@Crawlndog, thanks man! Not quite 64 colas as some I culled as they were small and larfy. But I’m stilll more than happy. Just harvested a clone off this girl and the buds were hard as gravel!
Beautiful👍
Plant looks amazing, My Big Buhda Cheese turned into trees, well over 6' almost 7'.
I'm still using Gaia 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 as a base nute.
Swithed to Grotek for the outside garden,so far some Black pearl, Biofuse and Monster grow pro(heard good things)
Gave my Cindy a tiny amount of the Biofuse(beneficial bacteria) on day 20, on advise from the rep.
I think I like this brand, it's all water soluable powder, easy to store and I'm pretty sure it's all organic😀
Still experimenting 😵
Later
Grow Big!! no issues there, LOL
Wow.....Amazing to see the difference between the two but what would her sister look like if she was in a bigger pot too, would she of branched out more?
The whole gardens looking stunning man!!
Wonderfulness 🌿🌞
