Day 28 from sprout, these girls are looking healthy and loving life...as far as I can tell. Topped them back on Monday 1-22 and then did my first top dressing today with some gaia green all purpose 4-4-4. some glacial rock dust and alittle mineralized phosphorus. Been staying at 6.5ph for all waterings

It’s hard to believe this amnesia haze is only in week two of flower! She is kicking butt and LOVING the HLG 550v2 as are her neighbors. I got a little stretch out of her but it appears that’s about it. The colas look like they’ll be about 8-10”. I moved the light down for a day and gave them 85,000 lux and while they are still reaching I don’t think they liked it as much as 65k so I brought it back up. I did take a few of her pie plate sized leaves of just to let a little extra light to the lower sites as well. Thanks for looking and happy growing!

Plants are doing well, The 84" inch tent is a must if your not training or topping. I removed all the sacks that appeared last week and I haven't seen anymore show up so fingers cross, I check daily. Bigger tent also helps with heat control as the air has more room to rise. Hope you all like the pictures, I started to take videos as they provide more detail with less work.

The gelato Is the strongest in the garden, She handled the transplant very well. I put her for flower under the lumatek attis 300W. I defoliated a bit to let the canopy spread, awesome structure. By now i use only water with adjusted pH because i put the organic pellet from RQS in the soil of the new fabric pot.

After 20 days in seedling stage. I stopped watering. Planted into bigger pots using new organic soil.

Lovin her so far. Fingers crossed but i havent had a problem with her yet. Did my math wrong on the nutes so i fixed that this week. Spread out leaves so shes easy to defoliate and she doesnt really need it much cause all the parts still get light. She just started showing pistils which im super happy happy about The stems smell super dank but still a pretty weak smell so far. 3 days later and shes even taller and the pistils are starting to look like buds. She dried up already so i gave them an extra litre of water this time so i adjusted the nutes a bit. I plucked a lot of the big leaves again. IDK if that was a good idea or not but it felt right because so many of the lower branches werent getting that much light. I didnt go too crazy and left some leaves. She bounced back fine last time so im not worried. Cant wait to see some buds!!

January 16, 2019 Everything is moving along nicely now. Bud sites on the photos are building day by day, and the autos are just about done. This week I fed some Recharge and some Espoma Organic Bloom (available at most big box stores). I’ve had it kicking around since last season and figured I should use it up before it goes bad. I’m looking into more organic nutrient options for the future. I’m not sure I’m ready to start making my own organic compost teas yet. But BioBizz seems like they will take care of what I’m looking to accomplish without needing to make my own teas (fingers crossed). I removed the house plant that brought in the bugs and everything is back to normal now, no new bug damage. I finally received and read “True Living Organics” by The Rev. Its a good book, but growing the “TLO” way is vastly different from other growing methods I’ve read. I’m going to have to read this one again before making any comments. Thanks to all of the answers on CO2. Seems like its more valuable with larger setups than I’m running.

12 days after the switch Tropicanna Banana shows her sex and officially begins flowering. On day 28 I started with the Bio Heaven and Acti Vera stimulators, although the soil is prefertilized for only 2 weeks, the girls are in perfect shape and for now they don't need fertilizers. I inserted wooden supports in the grow to reduce the effect of negative pressure, it took away important space for growing. This week i've stopped using the humidifier.

Her leaves are already covered with trichomes 🤩 as you can see the top cola is broken, but not completely. She was too tall so i supercropped it and tied her down so she couldn't stand up again. Other than that everything looks nice. No signs of any kind of dis balance ✌️

Medium: Yep - still gonna beat on the DWC drum. It just gets better and easier every run. Almost religiously changed out the res. every week and this was definitely overkill. Could’ve easily gotten away with every 10 days to 2 weeks. Stuck with peroxide this run again instead of going with bennies via hydroguard or hygrozyme. The results speak for themselves on a 6 week veg. That’s for sure. Still save’n them dolla bills on the nutes too. Minimal nute mixing (as well as simplistic regime) and for what we’re using in each res. - gotta be easily a 50-60% savings on nute consumption vs. more traditional methods. Honestly makes one wonder why organic soil grows are seemingly all the rage. I’ve found terp. Profiles, structure, plant health and of course yields to all be just that much better in straight water. What more can I say, we love our DWC. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️ The dueling methods were the whole point of this grow. Our best attempt to illustrate the differences between LST vs. LST/Topping ie. just how significant is the difference in terms of overall production? The truth of this test is a bit of a double edged sword. On the one hand, topping does have a significant effect on overall yield. This fact is regardless of whether or not from seed or clone.That said and when it comes to clones, you still have to be mindful of the drawbacks of further dividing (and thus reducing nug size for) main branches. Our topped clone #2 is a perfect example of this. While the structure demonstrates significantly more branching, the nug sizes are also significantly smaller. As you’ll see in the yield details it does somewhat make up for this through a higher overall weight but it was also a much less manageable plant than #1. Root mass on the topped plant was heavier and bulkier, drinking much more water than its counterpart. And in late flower half the plant was pretty much falling over. While some of this is attributable to the extremely hollow stems (and thus a carbon deficiency), making the most of the grow light proved difficult with the topped plant as bushy as it was. Basic summary - if ur cloning for profit or efficiency, stick with straight LST and grow a whole bunch of em. If I had to do it again I don’t think i would’ve bothered with topping - just for the sake of greater ease🤔🤔🤔. Then again, I’m greedy as fuck when it comes to my yields so I Could totally see myself trying to max everything out and go for broke🤙🤙. 3/5 volume bars for the rating - we accomplished what we were trying to. Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 Awwwwwe yeah - down to where it counts and these girls were champs💪. While internodal spacing was longer than necessary and overall bud size was smaller than average; these plants pushed out some solid weight👍😎👍. Ran er through a 7 day dry and all jarred up on a slow cure. Final numbers: Total yield - clone #1: 5.14oz = 143.92g Total yield - clone #2: 6.01oz = 168.28g Approx. est. yield: 600g/m2 divides by 4.8, multiplied by 2 (approx. for 2/3 the cabinets sq/ft) = 250g per 0.41m2 Actual yield: 11.15oz. per 0.41m2 = 312.2g per 0.41m2. That is some seriously good production right there😎👍😎. The high end avg. for this strain is 650g/m2. When you crush that out to my space and the numbers above, it works to about 270g per 0.41m2. Our actual yield still destroys the high end avg. by almost a zip and a half👍👍👍. The cree cob does it again. Fuck’n jazz hands y’all🙌! With results like these you could really give the whole grow a 9/10. It’s only an 8 in my book because it’s not my preferred high. Otherwise, any time you’re north of 5+ oz. per plant, it’s a good day at the office👍👍. Props👊👊👊 No choice but to shoutout Humboldt genetics. These beans have treated me so well and I can’t say enough Good things about the strains this organization puts out👌👍👌. Other than that, thanks to everyone who dropped by for a look and a comment. Got back from 2 weeks holiday and immediately lollipopped and defoliated all 4 plants heavly. Will wait a few days for them to recover from the battering I gave them before flipping to 12/12. This plant is at the back of the 4 in the timelapse.

Excellent quality and quantity with this harvest! Will look to to control the stretching phase of flowering next grow.

Day 67: Increase in flower size phrase has been finished now they about to go into the mature phrase. I will eighter flower them for 1 or 2 weeks depending on how it goes. Might only give them water with enzymen,regulator and humic for now on, that Is basicly flushing ( ec 0.7 ). or Ill just slightly feed them( ec 1.4-1.6) for a few times before I start flushing them( ec 0.7). Again I took the pictures before doing work on them ( watering and defoliation), so they look a little sad. I did notice that many of them got burned tips, indicating that they get more nutrients then needed. It does make sence since In this week and weeks to come, they need less nutrients and having a harder time taking it. Yet they do drink everything in 1.5-2 days, so they still do like to get nutes. Thats all for this week.
