Going great. Smell has become an issue this week with all the rain storms were receiving. The high humidity has my carbon filter pretty much useless. I’m in California so I’m not worried about legality. That said I live in a townhome so I’m not exactly trying to upset or advertise to my neighbors. Not too much I can do though. Getting excited and also not looking forward to trim. Looks to be about 2-3 weeks out...maybe 4-5 on the Sativa plant...or more.

A great week of growth and development. Did a small defoliation, and clean of the tent. The girls are very leafy, and some of that needed to go to increase air flow and prevent issues from developing. Love this time of growing as there is not much to do, but watch the buds stack! I topped yesterday, watered today without fert. sprayed a mixture of oils on the topsoil for pests. Any advice or comments always appreciated -

Day 85: not long until I cut the last girl! Just have one picture today haha… I’m starting the flush on Friday! My 2x plants I cut the first day are soon dry! So much crystals on the buds and leaves looks like diamonds. Day 87: Finnish dried my 2 plants! Got myself 70grams of buds so far, let’s hope for a little more in my last plant. Started the flush on my last girl today so she will soon be ready to harvest as well. Can’t wait to grow these girls again but this time they will have a lot of training hehe😁 Day 89: not many days left! Giving it canna flush for the last day. Will give her ph balanced water for a few days for now then cut her!! Day 90: will cut her in the beginning of next week. Just took my 3rd plant out of drying tent today, she gave me like 20g trimmed buds haha. But this last one will be the best yeilder in the tent. I’ve had 70g on my 2 plants I cutted first and now 20 more so total 90g so far! And the tast and smell are amazing even without curing!! This is the light that I’m using for this grow! 04/22/2021 Day 3 into week 3 I am feeding some 5-1-1 fish emulsion at 2 tbls to a gallon. It will be her last bit of nitrogen she will get. Praying for big buds.

I might switch the lights in the next days. Depending on her growth. Day44: Added some water and moved the camera a little further away. Day45: She felt lonely, so I got her a friend... Theobroma Cacao. New seedling that needs the warmth + humidity. Hopefully surviving winter. Day46: I decided to take some zoomed in stills of her. To show off her beauty. The purpling of the branches really make this lady something special. In some of the shots it might look like her leaves are yellowing, but it's just the angle of the light. You can see on the photo that I took from the top, that all leaves are a healthy dark green. At least I now have proof that she's a lady. She's short and stubby, but I'm not really growing for amount. I just neeed 50g, after all (hehe) Day47: She grew like a demon overnight. I'll check the height tomorrow.

When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.
