Got about 5, 6 weeks tops to finish outside 😬 usually my autos start flowering before I’m ready but this one is taking its time and the clock is ticking. Hoping flower stacker will give it a little boost.
It’s been a week. Finally had to admit that my autoflower was a photo when it refused to flower after 6 weeks of veg. So I moved her inside into the 3x3 after some intense ipm. Diatomaceous earth foliar spray and on soil and crop defender organic spray. Have had her in there for 2 days and on 12/12 it’s flowering now. Gonna be much bigger than I thought. Might have to control stretch with trellis but should finish nice!
Really started drinking this week. Doubled from 2 gallons every other day (to 10-15% runoff) to 2 gallons a day. Thought my blumat moisture sensor was on the fritz for a minute but pot was light and the Buds are starting to bulk up so I guess that’s to be expected. Got drip system installed to feed while away for a few days. Using VIVOSUN automatic system. Cheap and seems consistent. About 1 liter per emitter, per hour. Setting timer to 1 hour a day gives me my 10-15% runoff. 2 VIVOSUN VS2000’s up to 75% power now for pretty even DLI of 41 per day across the canopy. This plant/strain is ridiculously easy to grow (so far 🤞🏻) and the smell…boy. Skunky, cheesy, gassy, good-bad with a hint of citrus/pine.
Not doing too much with her at this point. With drip system it’s basically on cruise control. She is frosting up nicely. I love this plant, so much so that I bought another couple packs of seeds. Hope I can duplicate it from seed so I don’t hate myself for not taking any clones, just didn’t have the setup for it…yet. Will probably give her 1 more week of nutes and then start the 10-14 day flush and finish. Checked terps today and got some cloudy starting, even saw an amber or 2 in there but still 2-3 weeks out. Will start flush when majority are cloudy to aim for a 90/10 or 80/20 finish.
Pretty much been hands off. Letting drip system take care of watering, and controller and inkbird manage climate and humidity. Been weening it off nutes. From 15-1800ppm to 9 to 450 today. All cloudy now so no more feeds. Little leftovers from final res top off then straight water till the ambers show up. Aiming for few. 5-10%
In the final stretch. Plan to harvest her next weekend. Trichomes are around 60% cloudy and 40% clear with a sprinkle of amber here and there. Changed light schedule to 11 on 13 off, dimmed lights progressively back over the past week from 80% to 60% which lowered daytime temps to 75 degrees. Will continue to dim lights through week all the way to 30%, 5% per day till harvest. Ran FloraKleen through it a couple days ago to dissolve salts left in medium till runoff was under 300ppm and am giving plain water ph’d to 6.5 with recharge and carb supplement. Ppm is 125 but that’s what it is out of my tap. Not adding anything.
She’s done! Harvest her on Monday. Did final watering today and when pot dries out tomorrow she’ll go dark for 24hrs then ✂️. Just had plain water for the past week except for a final dose of recharge to help use up the last of the nutes left in the soil.
VIVOSUN smart controller went haywire in last week. It’s #1 on the replacement list. Right after the time change and an app update it literally changed my plan completely (lights on 7pm to 7am changed to lights on 3am to 3pm and defaults to those times when I try to change it” luckily I caught it quick and it was during lights on) but despite knowing and using it fine for 6 months their customer service sent me an instruction manual so take that for what you will.
