The stretch in some of these has been crazy, lights been maintained at 30inch also.. the living soil seems to be doing the trick, can’t wait to see what happens the following days with the way there growing, dehumidifier added, maintaining between 60-65%. Temperature also nicely at 20-23c.. untill next week 👊🏻

One plant is very small cos when I transplanted it to the 5g pot I brock all the roots off it its slowly starting to come back to life, as for the other ones there doing good lots of new growth starting to come out under main big leaves i am not adding any nutrients yet and will probably start LST by the end of this week

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. Crazy week growth-wise. Carl's exploded with growth, fan leaves are now relative to pot size. Another outstanding plant is UKBS 1, which has recovered from topping very vigorously and should make for an incredible indoor plant. In other news; UKBS 2 is still stretching. It's about 4" from the light now while the other plants are around 12". God knows why. The timelapse is up for this week, you can really see the incredible growth the plants have all undergone over the course of the week. Some LST may be taking place over the course of this next week, we'll have to see how the branches on namely UKBS 1. Had to move Carl 2 a little bit into the center of the tent as it was shading out/being shaded out by Carl 1. Carls are showing incredible symmetry, despite the top/fim/whatever the fuck I did lol. Updates are coming throughout the coming week; as usual. -3/21/2021 - Started LST on UKBS 1 and gave UKBS 2 some kushman's chiropractic -3/23/2021 - Topped carl 2 again at both pre-topped nodes, in the hopes it'll bush out some more. I'm thinking it'll be a very nice indoor plant. Also topped UKBS 2, again in the hopes it'll bush out a little bit and stop growing so fucking vertically.

4/26: I top-dressed their pots with about a tablespoon of Happy Frog Cavern Culture and watered it in really slowly with about 1/4 gallon of water each and added cal-mag, humic acid, liquid molasses, silica. I also started them on open sesame. I increased Ph to 6.40 to ensure that they can utilize the increased calcium and the P and K I'm giving them now. 4/27: I bent over their apical colas and tied them down today, and did a little bit of training on the bigger one to "spread her legs" nice and proper.👍 4/29: Both plants are stretching a little bit, but not nearly as much as I had hoped they would.....James Brown said it best: "Got to get on up!" 5/1: I gave them a little water with cal-mag, boomerang, humic acid, and silica. 5/2: I sprayed them with boomboom spray this morning...grow bitches, grow! 5/3: I did a slow-soak feeding today. Backed off the nitrogen a little more, increased silica, and started adding sweet & sticky and signal.

This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!

Heya growmies. She finally started stetching this week, unfortunatly in the middle of the week i dropped the fan on her AGAIN, and she broke and also lost a topside. Once again, the plant didn't seem to mind, it happened during dark period so its not caught on camera, you can barely tell when it happened on the timelapse. So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

Four of five plants will ba harvested right after taking those photos. Strawberry Cough will stay longer - as long as I can keep her alive - she already lost most of leaves but she is far from being ready. She now have whole tent for herself 😂 I need to give her another ScrOG net - she is starting to bulk and already colas are too big to stay vertical by themselves. These ladies are in full flower and progressing like a dream. The colas on them are chunky to all get out. And to think they've barely begun the flower period is mind blowing to me. I'll go in this week and do a good cleaning taking out some of the crispy leafs on the under canopy. Over all though Happy Growing.

The tent has been cleaned. Flowering day 29 Today the plants and buds were checked for health and cleaned. Flowering day 30 Today was poured again. This mam she got 1 liter of water. (See nutrient table for nutrient addition). Of course, the plant was checked for its vitality 🧐😅. Flowering day 31 The humidifier was refilled a little and the tent cleaned 👍. Days of flowering 32 Today 1.2 liters of water were poured. (See nutrient table for nutrient addition). Fans, fans, electrics have been checked for functionality 😊. Flowering day 33 The plant has been carefully checked for pests, etc. Flowering day 34 Today 1.6 liters were poured, so that it had about 10% drain 👍 For nutrient addition, see the nutrient table.
