Into week three of flowering: - Need to up CalMg this week cause all my last grows with this strain the plants were stressing and showing signs of Mg deficiency I think. - The buds are stacking up pretty tight. - The top of the plant is showing some red veins AGAIN, don't know if it is genetics? Or is it too much light? ANY SUGGESTIONS? - Usually what happens is that after week three top of plant will show red veins and some leaves will turn light green yellow. Since my plant is showing the following symptoms: - Slow yellowing of top of cannopy - Fan leaves pointing up in a steep angle - Leaves are tacoing up a bit with sharp pointy serrated leaves pointing up - Veins are turning purple and some leaves are showing green veins and yellowing of outer part of the leaf REASONS FOR THE SYMPTOMS: - Since the light is too close to the top of the canopy, although my light is running at around 60% and it is at least a meter away from the light. I think because this was a mother and basically she is accustomed to top canopy PAR of around 180-220 and she was measuring around 600PAR so that is just too much for the plant to handle. So I've lowered the light output so the top canopy is around 420 PAR. - Also my humidity is pretty high at around 72% so I lowered it to around 65% - The reason why the leaves are tacoing up to the light is because the canopy cannot take the high PAR, the temp at the top of the canopy is only 76F so that is acceptable, but the plant is trying the sweat due to the high PAR, but because the humidity was also too high it was not sweating as much as it should. - The reason why a light stressed plant shows different deficiencies eg. magnesium and phosphate is due to the "extra sweating" that takes place, cannabis plants don't choose what they intake, if they need more water to sweat, extra nutrients will be absorbed and this will lockout some of the other nutrients in the solution. **End of week update: Tried multiple changes but still no luck on getting rid of red leaf stem. - Added a 1 hour sunrise and sundown light regiment - Decreased Humidity to 65% from low 70's - Top of canopy PAR decreased from 600 to 350. Leaves red stems still not going away and top of canopy still trying to get rid of moisture with fan leaves pointing up. If anyone can chime in that would be great thanks.

She is doing her thing gave her a good defoliate again to open her up. She had 3 x half ml doses of pk on top of 3ml bloom over the coarse of the week. Pk dropped bloom kept at 3ml. Overall very impressed halfway through this week in the video and boom baby she’s getting there

Day 45: just a quick vid. Been busy soz for posting so little. Day 46: Buds are densing up and mutant is doing mutant things. Lightburn is an issue Day 47: today i tried to fix the mutant problem. Its growing wayy to big for my small 180cm tall tent. Broke one of my light hangers when i tried to tighten it😑 also did some lst but i think the battle might be Lost on this one. Any advice is taken! Other than that, #1 n #2 are doing pretty well. Buds are densing but not at the rate i would want. Might be Bcos my light only draws 200w from wall. Day 48: these ladies are getting frosty swear to god if my light doesnt pull enough watts to dense the nugs, im callbombing spiderfarm till i get new light🌚

Well week 2 is here and gone. the dark devils are not as big as the red poisons but that doesn't mean much at the moment. we still got lots of weeks to go and the wicking buckets look like they are doing their job. I am going to let the dark devils dry out a bit before I refill the reservoir. to see if the water is too much for that strain as it is the first time growing it. so, looking good so far, they are healthy for now no signs of hunger just water when needed at this point and look for signs of lock out or feeding issues cheers ya'all,

The 21st of july we germinated this fantastic banana purple punch from fastbuds The 22nd of july we placed the seed in a peat pellet The 23rd of July the first 2 leaves appeared so we can say that its the first day of life! We will now start the week 1 of this diary 😁

Well, this was a interesting first journey.... the buds finished drying today, 5 days drying, added pics and vids. Just curing to go.... ah nice buds :) Edit: i forgot to mention i went over the buds when i harvested them, and checked / removed any impurities, like gnats caught in the sticky bud.... picked em clean with tweezers... 👍 Edit: needed to air/dry out the buds abit more, and get some Boveda Humidipak for curing.... it's looking good... i'll update with some pics of trimmed, cured buds 😎 The buds turned out beautiful, pungent, pine, berry, citrusy, daytime, medical..... this has theoretical 1:1 - 21% THC, 19% CBD, so it's not going to give u a knockout high.... its medical grade 1:1 ....... side effects - happy, relaxed. haha :) I weighed it dry and came up with about 123.32g (4.35oz) ... i used abit of guesswork in the weight, not to concerned with weight, as to quality.... (that weight is with the test buds added in, +-15g.) .... you can guess the weight from the pics and vids, haha I really enjoyed growing this.... i found the website by looking up the seeds, decided to start a grow diary, it's my first grow, i made alot of mistakes and growdiaries really helped alot, joined a chat group with some other really good growers. Edit - Day 111 - added vid/pic, Been curing for a week, burp and roll em abit twice a day....... smell and taste nicer each day, 👍 Edit - Day 112 - added good vid of trimmed up test bud, beautiful ...... The time has come! This is the part that makes me nervous! Got some decent sized nugs. So I really hope I don't run into mold. Shooting for a 10 day dry, seems to have worked for me so far. I don't wait for the branches to snap, but just right before. They tend to dry up a little more while trimming and by the time they make it into the jar it's good to go. Next update in 2 weeks.

I am dropping a fruity pebbles auto from ILGM. Seed was lightly scuffed on ends, and placed in a cup of water for 24 to 48 hours. As soon as I get a tap root tail I will place her directly in the rockwool. We've made it to day 28! - 17/12/20 The girls seem to be happy and healthy today. I won't be feeding/watering them as the pots are still heavy from yesterdays feed. A few of the girls have started to show sex & the smell has picked up a little bit(inside the tent), so I'm hoping to see some flowering begin this week sometime. (I've been using my iPhone as my only DSLR lens is useless for focusing on certain depths, but I hate the colour I get using the iPhone... I may be switching back to DSLR unless I can find a better camera app.) update - day 29 (18/12/20) Short update today. Fed the girls today and will probably be feeding/watering every day from here on out, we'll see though. veg growth has really taken off by now, I'm hoping to see some flowering this week. update - day 30 (19/12/20) I fed the girls today. I need to find a better way to hand water, the plants are so short and bushy its a pain getting in between all the branches. I wish i left my drip feed system up and running, I will definitely refine it and use it next run. Update - day 31 (20/12/20) Fed the girl's straight water today. I'm going to purchase the pieces I need tomorrow to reconfigure my drip feed system & hopefully have it running by mid-week! Update - day 32 I attempted to set up my drip feed system today but the plants are too thick around the base to place the halo around :( I will have to wait until next season to set it up, oh well, I guess its hand watering for the next 5-10 weeks Fingers crossed these girls start to flower ASAP. I fed the girls today, everything is looking good so far. I also moved the plants around to try to make hand watering easier, I had issues trying to water the whole pot instead of just one spot due to plants/branches being in the way. Update - Day 34 - 23/12/20 It definitely seems ill be watering the girls every day from here on out. All the girls look fairly happy and healthy, they're getting a bit big for the 5x5 they're in. More Fantastic Grow News! They have been still doing great and developing the flowers and buds - I am VERY happy with how everything has been turning out! When opening the tent you are immediately hit with the subtle smell of maturing, ripening ganja - Each flower has a mixture of white hairs, orange hairs and an incredible amount of frosty leaves and trichomes. I notice that my Cherry Gorilla x Sol Sonic #2 is sprouting the red hairs faster than the rest - I hope she can hold off until the rest of the girls are completely finished! The Cal-Mag seems to be working - I am noticing dark, dark green leaf color right next to the biggest buds - I am guessing that this is the Cal-Mag doing its thing. I see that the leaves that were damaged from the deficiency are slowly turning back, however I feel as it is this far along, the plants are most likely focusing on the flowers rather than the leaves - which seems to be what I wanted. The dark color next to the buds give me hope it was a good remedy. When touching each of the flowers, you are left with a VERY sticky, leftover goo than stays on your fingers. Each flower smells extremely distinct - which is somewhat unexpected. This just goes to show you the power of phenotypes! These seeds came from the same dispensary bag, and each one seems to be just a little different. You can especially see what I am talking about from the Macro shots I took this week - look at the descriptions for the full breakdown. Wish me luck!
