All right here we are guys Midway through week 3 of flower and she should have more production but due to the extreme training and the amount of Bud sites there's a lot of energy being distributed between so many areas that I don't think I'm going to be left with many huge buds but as I mentioned before many thumb size which is fine by me as long as the nugs are tight and smoke as good as I can hope for.. strawberry cough has been one of those elusive strains for me for one I never thought I'd ever even be able to grow cannabis let alone grow the strain that I've been wanting to grow since I was 14 and I'm 38 now going on 39... Long story short this has been a long time coming and so now I'm only a month and a half or so away from it becoming a reality is really awesome... Una semana tranquila y con pocos cambios. Se hizo una ultima poda de algunas pocas hojas abanico y poco mas. esta semana a mediados empezó a mostrar los tricomas claramente, hasta entonces fue difícil de verlos.

She finally triggered flowering this week. I was away for a few days, but fortunately I had the timelapse camera running and it caught the beginning of flowering.

Annnnnnndddddddd we're done. Eight weeks in flower and I might have let her go too far. Many amber trichomes, but that's mainly on the tops of the upper buds (tops of the tops, hehe).

I topped the 2 last plants and started LST on all of them without any problem. The growth was pretty impressive this week, especially for the Wedding Cheesecake which is clearly bigger then the others. I had to add some supports to compensate the height difference between the plants. I removed some leaflets here and there during the week to give some light to the lower branches without removing too much leaves. I increased the light power to 75%. I will probably give them another week and then switch to the 12h/12h schedule. I harvested the last plant in several steps. The results are impressive. The first fluffier one was not as productive with 301g wet and 43g dry, but I also harvested it too early for other reasons. I'm going to make myself a snack from the buds. The other one performed great. The buds are hard as stones and smell like tropical fruit gums. I'm really excited to see how it tastes! I'll update when everything is dry! 👻👽

Day22: As said in Week3, I will not keep this perspective for the whole grow, as it doesn't really show the size of the plant. But it gives a nice view of how to top leaves grow :) The flashes that you see in the video is the humidifier. It pumps out vapour every hour for 15mins. So basically a quarter of each second of the video will be when the humidifier runs. Day23: I changed it, as I wanted to see the size as well. Day24: Growth really kicking off now. Happy to see that!

02.11.'24 After 5 days of drying, this little girl who was a little bigger than a meter gave 950 grams and a little bit of popcorn...this picking was 870 and a little bit of popcorn, and 4-5 weeks ago during a storm, one branch broke, which yielded about 100, but let's say 80 for sure, a total of 950 grams of beautiful, huge, potent buds

Grow Diary Entry: Harvest with a Friend’s Purple Punch 120 days ago, my friend decided to take a leap into cannabis growing by planting a Purple Punch seed directly in the soil of his summer house yard. With limited experience but a lot of enthusiasm, he nurtured the plant through the summer months, and now it’s time for the rewarding part – harvest! He invited me to join him for this special moment, as I’ll be taking on the drying and curing process to bring out the best in this lovely strain. Despite a few minor issues with bud rot here and there, the plant grew beautifully, producing frosty, smooth buds with a deep, rich purple aroma that’s as eye-catching as it is fragrant. The harvest exceeded both of our expectations – the buds are dense, sticky, and exude that classic Purple Punch sweetness with hints of berry and grape. It’s a much smoother smoke than I anticipated, proving that sometimes nature can surprise us with the quality it brings. I’m looking forward to gifting him a quarter of my own grow soon – a Cali strain I’m really excited about. It’ll be fun to see how it compares to the Purple Punch, but for now, I’m just proud to have been part of his successful harvest journey. Here’s to many more grows and sharing the fruits of our labor!
