D33 - 19/02 Haven’t changed the reservoir this week yet. A few burnt tips on Northern Lights #2, will probably go a little lighter on nutes next feed - she’s definitely more sensitive to them than the other ones. Overall great looking girls and nice growth. The #2’s are higher than the #1’s, nodes developing nicely and the scrog is definitely helping with lateral growth as well. — D35 Mixed a new reservoir with roughly 19L, at around 70% strength. pH 6.0 and EC 1.1 Humidity has risen a bit, so I installed the dehumidifier again. Apparently the tip burning has stopped, or at least slowed, which is good. #1’s are at around 25cm height, while #2’s are around 40cm height. — D36 Did another defoliation session as the girls really needed it. Cleaned a lot of the big fan leaves, airflow and light penetration is way better now. A few hours after and they’re super happy again.

End of Week 5 Brewed a nice veg-specific compost tea and the ladies loved it. Trying to make sure the soil stays nice and moist to keep the microbes happy and letting the top 3 cm of the topsoil dry before each watering. The ladies have gained some momentum and they're growing at a rapid pace . I also performed some HST by defoliating a few fan leaves and softly pinching and bending some of the stems to open up the canopy whilst keeping the stress at a minimal. Pest Report: Didn't have much issues up until now... I noticed about 5-10 tiny little thrips on some of the leaves and I applied an organic microbial insecticide (Agro Organics Bio-Insek, Google it!) that seems to have taken care of the problem. Now I will apply it weekly to make sure those buggers are ELIMINATED.

Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

end week 8. ------------ this week only water from all Gorillas the buds look very sticky and frosty. when I open the tent, it smells very strong. The 1 and 2 smelled pretty strong, chemically, the 3. more like citrus. I will harvest Gorilla 1 20.10. Gorilla 2 22.10 Gorilla 3 23.10 I made videos and pictures of the trichomes.

Using 2 seeds in a luke warm water shotglass. Placing in cupboard to germinate. Day1: Nothing yet Day2: One of the seeds started to sprout. Showing it's sexy little tail. I'll monitor the growth in the next 24hrs and then decide whether she's ready for the sproutling pot or not. Day3: Tails were looking pretty good - forgot to take a photo :/ roughly 1cm for one of them, which is the one that I decided to plant. It really hurt when I chucked the other seed, but I really only need one plant. Soil mix for the sproutling: Coco Coir - 70%, Vermiculite - 15%, Perlite - 15%. I also added Greenhouse Feeding "BioGrow" and Mycorrhiza. The picture was taken from my RPi + Cam setup that will be taking 2 photos/min. I'll post the timelapse at the end of the day. Day4: Running the whole day in the tent with ventilation running minimally. Light only at 20%. No action, so I deleted all the pictures except for the last one taken before the lights went out. Day5: No activity above the soil level. Probably spent the whole day focusing on root growth. Day6: At around 09:20 I watered again and with this uncovered the first signs of life! The rest of the day was mostly uneventful - until the evening. Roughly 2hrs before lights-out she started to move. Day7: Things starting to look really good :)

Well they definitely made progress in the flowering dept over the weekend! I came back home to find a nice amount of bud sites and pistil growth all around. Bubba ya gotten so big it can’t fit under my lights in the tent with fan & filter, so it’s now been moved to the other tent. Kind of fucks with my auto grow I had planned, but not much I can do

I only wish I had figured it out sooner but, on the bright side, this is a photoperiod and she has plenty of time to recover so she'll be just fine. Once I figured out that I was facing a slug attack, I immediately deployed my favorite defense against slugs and other little soft bodied buggers and their larvae... Diatomaceous Earth. This stuff is death to fungus gnat larvae, along with other pest larvae and will ruin a slugs day quickly! If you look at diatomaceous earth under magnification, it resembles shards of glass and acts as the same on the soft bodies of pests either repelling, or killing them! 5/21- The Wedding Cheesecake is putting out a ton of new growth and has maintained her color and vigor. I have been training her branches through the trellis net as they get long enough and will probably be installing a second net before too long! Our weather has dried out and warmed up so I'm watering daily with well water straight from the garden hose. 5/23- Eight weeks of growth for the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and she just keeps looking better by the day... She's going to be a gorgeous plant! I cannot wait to see her in a month or so... can you? Ok so I'm really impressed with this autoflower. It's a monster in my opinion. I really pushed it hard for a day or two during a heat wave. Temps were 88F, I gave it a Full dose of PK booster ( LiquidKool Bloom ) and some Raw Citrus. Plant suck the bucket DOWN FAST. I thought alright its liking it. It did but it also burned it pretty badly. So I watered it down and got a cal-mag deficiency lol. Then during the heat wave I was being to brave and left to work for 12 hours with high temperatures and the plant tops at about 2 and a half feet when its recommended 3 feet. Totally my fault. But man oh man, she took all of it pretty well in my opinion. She's a little burnt but the FROST on the buds are insane outside the tent lights. It hasn't even had 1 night of sleep its entire life. 8/15 Checked ppm and pH, felt brave and added full dose PK. 8/16 Checked ppm and pH, pH remained steady at 5.9, ppm climbed to 1200. I let it run. 8/17 Checked ppm and pH, pH remained steady at 5.9, ppm climbed to 1400 and the bucket was empty. I knew I'd see burned tips soon. Added plain pH water, dropped to 800ppm. Left it to drink water. 8/18 Checked ppm and pH, tips showing burn but its definitely swelling, was it worth it? So far I'm thinking yes. Definitely yes. Ppm 950, pH 6.0 8/19 Checked ppm and pH, ppm at 1100, pH at 6.2 I watered it down with plain pH water to 700. I was feeling brave again, added more sweetener and PK booster. Ppm at 900. ( I made a mistake over the last 2 days and forgot to add cal-mag) 8/20 Checked ppm and pH, ppm went down to 800, pH at 6.2. Made no adjustments just added Cal-mag. I already had a slight deficiency going but not adding ANY to a plant that drinks 2 gallons a day was a huge mistake. It got a lot of brown patches and yellow but not everywhere. I also realized it was to close to the CMH. Plus a heat wave sent my temp to 88F while I was at work, not sure how long. I think I got a little bit of foxtail going on the very top tips. Adjusted temperature and raised light as high as I could. 8/21 Checked ppm and pH. This plant just eats and drinks to much. None of my other plants come close to this one. I have to check it everyday. My others can go up to 3 days untouched. This monster is impressive. I would reccomend this autoflower to anyone, but it says it's an intermediate grow level. It's been super easy for me. Really hope this monster finishes soon. All trichromes are clear. D97 F50: what a week!!! I can't believe it, the plants are more and more fragrant, the flowers are bigger and bigger... I expected less than that! I started the flush with simple osmosis water, corrected with a PH of 6.1! I managed to increase the EC from 2.1 to 1.3, with about 4 liters per plant!! I was able to remove the excess water in the tank using a pump! I'm aiming for an EC between 0.1 and 0.5 for half of week 9, before letting them dry on the foot. In any case, there are fewer seeds in my flowers than I thought, I tried to remove a few seeds with tweezers, it worked for a few plants but the code red #1 didn't like it... some pieces of flowers dried a little and some trichromes matured faster!! I'm not touching anything anymore smells: Papaya Bang Bang #1: smells of exotic fruit candies, especially papaya, very deep and addictive!! a banger LA Vanilla cake #2: smell of gas with ripe fruits, very cali gelato Papaya bang bang #2: smell of exotic fruits on a very earthy background, a little og, it's not really what I was looking for but it looks interesting!
