9.30 - I build a little fermenting CO2 generator this week, mostly for shits since I'm not going to seal the tent up. Otherwise things are going as expected. Noticed a really big change in bud structure and how they are densing up. Really enjoying the show and the change in colors and pistil behavior. Got her propped up to increase circulation and get a better idea of when she needs water. 10.1 - Just documenting the bud evolution for fun :) 10.4 - Whatchu guys think of my rescue marijuana plant!? Not bad, huh?! 10.6 - Plant grew some new whites and oranges and buds are bigger 10.7 - changing every day. What a wonderful thing

September 25 > Harvest at dawn for the big girl. The usual routine... except I shot a time-lapse video this time to play with the camera I won last year. Clipped the top buds first - then the base. Took me 2 hours to wash all that -rinse - repeat. ---------------------------------------- Well this was an interesting summer with this pair of girls. I learned that I don't really need a container larger than 10 gallons in order to grow very large plants (in my neck of the woods anyway). Now when I say large I mean how much space they take up on my patio. I'm allowed to grow 6 legally but 4 eats up pretty much the whole patio. And the reality is I don't need to grow plants that large. The outdoor yield will last well into next year for me and everybody I know. So next summer I plan to do much more serious pruning to limit the scope and shape of the girls I grow outdoors. I also learned that I don't need an inverted tomato cage style support if my container is larger than 5 gallons. The Durban I grew last summer was in a 5 gallon container and there's not enough weight in there to keep her grounded. Once up to 10 gallons you won't want to lift the container much and there's enough weight in there to keep things stable. At the moment I've listed 450g as a dry weight for both plants (updated to 458g final). I haven't actually weighed the 2nd plant yet and won't even trim her for about a week or so (I'll be back to update diary). The first girl came in at 235 grams. I got pretty ruthless throwing away small budlets and trim this morning as it took me 4 hours to take this big girl down and wash her up. That's only because I spent half a day yesterday trimming Cream & Cheese and moving Northern Lights around... and it's been over 95 degrees both days... so I'm ready for a rest. Cannabis harvesting is not easy labor. Diary note > There was a software malfunction a week or so back and I was unable to add a new flowering week, whereupon it was determined there was a limit of 26 weeks at that time... so I didn't add any more weeks after that until the harvest week. When I added the harvest week, it appears the malfunction had been corrected because I COULD HAVE added a new flowering week at that time. I think there's only a week missing. Differences can be noted with dates on the photos. If I had a problem this summer it's because I was too anxious to get going after a long winter nursing shoulder surgery and I didn't pay proper attention to the lighting ramifications when the instructions were there for me, and subsequently started too early. Next year I plan for an early crop of auto flowers to keep me occupied until the proper time for a regular crop. --------------------------------------- September 30 > Trimming and processing complete. I really manhandled the big girl with the Trimbag, largely because I knew I was gonna have a pound of herb on my hands (way more than I will personally consume) and I wanted to minimize my hand trimming. So when I say manhandled here, I mean I ran it through the process TWICE, using about 40 rotations/spins each time. It probably would have helped to be a tad drier, but we're entering a cool spell now and we've run out of time. Mother Nature has decided to turn off the heater... which has turned my Purple Berry Kush a nice shade of purple... but that's tomorrow mornings's harvest... <sigh>... anyway... where was I... oh yeah... AMNESIA... <hehe> Trimbag generated trim on 1st pass = 217 g Trimbag generated trim on 2nd pass = 90 g Trim generated by hand after that = 186 g Final bud weight for big girl = 223 g Clearly, comparing weight of trim generated by hand vs by the Trimbag here you can see the result of my "manhandling". Little girl was in a 10 gallon pot and generated 235 g buds and 360 g trim. Big girl was in a 15 gallon pot and generated 223 g buds and 493 g trim. Final total bud weight 458 grams for both plants. Hope anybody following along learned something this summer. I did. 😎 The trick is to not make the same mistake twice. That's kinda why we're all here. Kinda. ✊

The flowering started! I'm very excited to see those first little white "hairs" in my plants. Everything is going well, the stems are getting thicker and flowers are groing very fast. I'll keep you all updated with this, send me good vibes!

CRAZY NIGHT (continued) I get a cab back to the boys, we take the company car to the casino where we can park it relatively safely under cctv camera. It has a non functioning and non closing window at this point, so thats the best place we could think of. We hit the sino, win a few bucks and kill a few hours. I lose one of the boys to a high class and expensive looking late night date (???) and he assures us he will see us at breakfast in 40 minutes (hahah). We walk out with our winnings to find our car is gone. Not only is the window non functioning, it is non existent. Well there goes fucking breakfast! We called to report the incident, and one of us had to stay to chat with the cop and the casino. I didnt have the time, so my remaining buddy gave the notes. No texts from NX, so I called him. at around 4:40am. Went right to voicemail, followed by a text: "Im stucK" ...(continued) DIARY STUFF These Fastbud fast finishers are incredible plants. Not even finished 6 weeks of flower and they are packing on some serious cola weight. So much bud to leaf ratio, and sticky as all hell. Added Beastie blooms to the flowering feed and they seem to be loving it. Heat has been a battle this week as it is the middle of july and humid. Running lights at half power and ac full HEATHER !!! Again only water for this last week, wonderful smell and nice hard and sticky buds, not too fat, but i did several toppings here! Im sure this smoke is going to be a hard hitter, i really love the final smell of this plant, nice genetics, i did noted a slight difference in the phenotypes, i still have another plant in veg, im sure i get some clones of that one and see if i keep her 😁 Soon we will harvest

(EN) Rainy and cloudy weather continues, but temperatures are rising. On day 30, I spray a solution of nettle manure at 200ml/L of water on the leaves and stems of plants in order to remove and kill potential parasites (red spiders, mealybugs) and also prevent certain diseases such as late blight. I think I repeat this treatment every 2 weeks. Watering with clear water on the same day (approximately 600mL per plant). I prepare the soil to transplant plants into open ground soon, with 20L of universal soil, 20L of surrounding soil and 1L of perlite. (CAN) Le temps pluvieux et nuageux continue, mais les températures remontent. Do not pay attention to the temperature on the thermometer in the middle, it lies by a couple of degrees. I have a good thermometer on top of the box that shows the temperature. Day 29: After a terrible fracture, we see that the plant is beginning to recover. I'm honestly disappointed because it makes it very difficult for me to train mainlining and it will also increase the amount of time it takes to grow. Day 30: It looks much better already, I could superprune the right branch, but I don't want to stress it. I will try to bend the right branch harder, I will bend the left one a little in the morning the next day, maybe early. Day 31: This morning I cut the lower leaves, photo in the evening and continued the LST training after the injury. Photo in the evening. Day 32: I am completely sure that the plant has moved away from the stress, but we can see on the left circle, the right bud (and side) slowed growth. Day 34: I saw traces of salt on the tips of the new leaves, so now I pour water with regular 15 PPM.

This week flew by. Work had away from the plants kinda didn’t realize the plant were drinking hella water way faster than before so I fell behind a lil with the watering but nothing to major as you can see. The black cream is jus amazing right now , never smelled anything like it it literally smells like candy. There’s also hells buds all around the plant it’s just shining right now definitely running this strain until the seeds are gone. The Green Poison Auto is coming along nicely even though she took hella long to flower from veg but I’m hoping that means she jus going to keep taking her time and beast up . Her trichomes already flooding the plant which is a bright side I’m also I’m patient to so that’s not helping. For the most part I’m pretty sure I’m going to be running the same medium and nutrient line a couple more times Before I venture out And my AC is finally fixed so no more hot days for the ladies. I’m predict the black cream to go another 2-3weeks and the green poison at least another 4 from what I’m seeing my ladies are taking their time with this one . Can’t wait to see the growth this coming week

No nutrients will be added till week 2 or possibly 3. Soon as she surpasses her baby leaves I'll start to drip feed 3 times a week. Under 400w hid omega now.

She appears to be just starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium and all she'll be getting is straight water from here on out. I watered today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 0.75g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in roughly two weeks +/- but you never know... It always pays to let the trichomes tell you when it's time to harvest, not the breeder as they are only giving an approximate time due to the numerous factors that can affect the time of harvest. 10/10- Well, Week Seven has come, gone and we're one week closer to this girl finishing up! She's so freaking frosty now and starting to fade that she'll be testing my patience this week! I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of next week but we'll monitor her trichomes and let them be the guide... I can't wait! 🤩 I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Another week of growth in the books here. I am loving the flowers peyote forum is putting off. Starting to see some purple colours starting on these plant. Also noticing one of the plants starting to lose its colour which has me concerned as I saw some bugs on this plant a few weeks ago and sprayed for them, something to keep an eye on moving forward. I top dressed these plants with 1 tbsp/gallon of Power Bloom and hit them with a compost tea made up of worm castings, Bokashi Pro Gro, Molasses and Bat Guano. This will be the last feeding I give these plants.

I cut out the nutrients and let the plant do its thing. I also noticed the plant had been pollinated and was starting to grow seeds, so I cut her at the end of this week, a week early. I left a portion of the plant to seed, but the rest was cut and hung. The branch I left is showing toxicity, proof of the intensity of nutrients this plant needed to survive. I tried to combat this with PH balancer to keep the cola productive and not toxified by the excessive nutrients needed by the rest of the plant that wasn't there. I was successful by prolonging the life closest to winter by building a heat trap, and mulching the ground beside the plant.
