Welcome to my 22nd grow on growdiaries. I'm going to be stricter on this grow as i have been a bit lax on the last few and let them get out of control.
My plan is no more then 12 colas between the 2 plants. I'm going to have a shorter veg period to keep them at a reasonable height. I'm also going to try to keep them away from the sides of the tent more then I normally do.
Because I may be going away shortly I'm going to start in the final pot because sods law I'll be away when they need potting up.
I'm running 2 photoperiods again, they are both from the MSNL catalogue. Plant #1 Lemon cherry gelato will be on the left looking in the tent and #2 Zoap will be on the right.
This diary is focusing on

📅1/10/24 Tuesday
📋 Prepared 12L fabric pots, filled with biobizz lightmix, then gave 2L water Ec=0.25 PH=7.0/6.7. Then 1L water with katana roots @5ml/L Ec=0.3 PH=6.3/6.3
No runoff.
Placed pot into tent with no light on.
📅2/10/24 Wednesday
📋 Dropped the seed into 40ml of water with 5ml/L katana roots and 0.1ml/L neutralise at 5.00pm.
5.00pm turned light on @ 100w 80cm above the soil, Ppfd=197, 24hr DLI=17.0
10.00pm placed seed into moist paper towel.
📅3/10/24 Thursday
📋 7.30pm tap root breaking through the side of the shell so put the seed into 12L fabric pot, and placed in the tent under constant light. Can't recall ever having a tap root coming through the side before.

📋 9.00pm looks like movement.
📅5/10/24 Saturday
📋 9.00pm not broke ground properly but cotyledons are visible and looks stuck in part of the shell casing. Day 0

Germination summery.
📋 Didn't take that long for the Lemon cherry gelato to start breaking ground, she seems to be struggling to open up at the moment and is a funny yellow colour. I'll give her a few more days and see if I need a backup seed..

The pre-flower is just starting and they are putting on good growth.
One of the plants doesn't have the same vigour as the other, but it is still doing well.

Things get real crazy here 😉😎 just 3 Weeks left to the original Date from Breeder. I be so curious if the Buds get more Volume at this Time
Give them last Dose of the PK5/8. 20ml in 1 Liter for every one. Now they just become Water til the harvest Day. Eventually i flush them at the End. Depends on what the Leaves look like
What do you think to take a few more leaves for the Buds down under? Or is it to much stress?
Have the FC3000Evo 40cm from the Top since Flower Week 3. I‘m trying to get to 30cm now. Maybe they like it and gets more voluminous

She has jumped to 28 inches. Impressive really. Defoleated A lot of useless bottom crap. Her stem has healed and is about 1 inch thick. She is looking and growing great.

2/19 Week 8
Controlling the stretch somewhat by keeping strong blue light in the spectrum. Wont start flower under HPS again, will wait till stretch has finished.
The FFt-7 seem to respond most to this, the FFt-5 not as much but still slowed down.
Major day coming Saturday everyone back into one tent and that undergrowth is getting trimmed!
Driving me nuts
Wont need to worry so much over height at that point.
Adding that small amount of PK has really spurred a lot of bud growth, looks like the guys knew what he was talking about.
2/21 Could not wait so... Lower End Defoliation Day!
Cleaned them all up for their last day in Moya (veg tent) before moving to Enterprise (Flower tent) ... heh

In small barrels there is good wine, says a classic proverb from my home country and our two Do si Dos naturally branded Zamnesia seem to fit this proverb perfectly.
Small and beautiful like two very beautiful girls, it often happens I have a weakness for short and pretty girls.
The smallest one was worked with a topping to create a mainfold and then main lining. Being a plant with a low internodal distance it ended up becoming a kind of bonsai which to tell the truth we don't mind at all very cute and effective.
The worked plant left growing straight is practically ready and. we are flushing it with industrial quantities of water because it arrived a bit loaded at the end.

The pistils are starting to brown a little so we're nearing the end, but this is not a September finish! Colas and bulking up I think she's had her last feeding.
For awhile there I was worried about how this strain was going to finish but in the last couple weeks she's been really strong. I can't wait to see how she looks on harvest day!

Hallo Gärtner 👩🌾 wieder eine Woche vorbei ist das gießen wird immer häufiger und mehr 😅 ich denke hab das Fehler gemacht das viel Blätter 🍂 weggenommen habe wie sieht ihr das so? Würde mich sehr interessieren. Ansonsten sie wirkt prall voll saftig. Was mir sehr überrascht ihr Geruch riecht nicht so stark. Aber es macht nix

Hey guys :-) .
Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil.
There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure.
That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-).
She has developed very well this week.
I will give you 7-10 days before I switch to flowering.
This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each (nutrients see table above)
Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked.

Buenas a tod@s... Otra semanita más para las niñas, se supone q es la anteúltima semana pero siempre queda algún día más seguro... Está semana se quitaron y agregaron nutrientes nuevos para esta etapa de la floración, de momento todo en orden, este rmario salió muchísimo mejor a comparación a otros diarios, eso desde mi punto de vista. Tanbm le quité varias hojas, haciéndole hueco para que entre más luz x debajo, ya había aquitado pero tenía bastantes otra vez. De momento todo en orden... La semana q viene ya vemos q tal van... Un saludo y buenos humos para tod@s... 💨💨💨🙌🏻👍🏻

This week I raised the light a few inches. I also removed the CO2 dispenser as it seemed like I was meddling to much. The humidity levels remained in the 50's so I removed the watering can. Overall, things remained much the same. My main takeaway this week was "stop doing things". Leave the plants alone. I'm learning that the plants respond negatively to changes in their environment. Let them be and they'll figure out how to survive.

overall i've learned a lot fro mthis grow. Had fungus gnats, a little mold on #2 (discovered during harvest) and also experienced what its like to grow in pure peatmoss.
amended to little at times, amended too much at other times. three completely different grows.
Plant #1 was by far the best one. Most resin production and overall most stable in terms of nutrient uptake and deficiencies.
overall i will probably not grow a lot of sativa's inside this fridge anymore. its just not good to have them all foxtail and stress out over small things. Time for more indica's! 😇

Thanks to your advices guys, the plants survived the heat wave !
I had to reduce the light time due the hot temperatures outside, now that it's done and the temperatures back to normal, the light schedule is back to 18h/6h. I misted them frequently and I can tell how well it works, the leaves are way less curled up, the plants are still growing fast. I now mist them a little bit when the light turns off.
I started LST on day 17 and re-adjusted it on day 20, I think I'm doing it well but I could be wrong, comment and tell what I can do better ! I only water them once a week, I wait for the soil to be very dry, like 1cm deep or even more.
I noticed some pistils on the biggest plants, I guess they're already pre-flowering
Couldn't take much photos of this week, I had a lot of work and the light is on when I'm back home, I made a short video with lights on, I also heard music stimulate plants, so I tried lol

welcome to Day 29 15/1/21 she has grown so much in 1 week and that makes me happy as she was quite small. I have done light trimming of the lower leaves and toped up the res with the addition of flower nutes.

The tent is happy and flowering beautifully.
This week I started using spinosad to get rid of thrips. The lady bugs have been helping so far but they aren’t killing all of them and they are dying fast.
All plants doing well, no big issues to report.
I have noticed that the two that I brought in last week were a little shocked by the higher light and had some photo issues and turned light green. But they’re recovering.
