Dropped both of them into Water on 24th August, Taproot of 1 cm size on 26th, put them into the soil the same day. added a dome, sprayed some water on them and they broke through the soil on Aug 28th! They received 250 ppfd from the get go which i ramped up to 350 ppfd by the end of week 1.

Nothing much happened - besides them growing! Watered * 300 ml on day 1, * 400 ml on day 3, * 600 ml on day 6 per plant and with 2 ml/L of rootjuice and activera. Both were growing super "uniform" and similiar to each other. Over the course of the week, i ramped up the light up to 350 ppfd - but im sure they couldve taken a lot more!

Both were growing like absolute champs! I decided to top really early. i follow basementganjas rules, i will only top autos if they grow like champs, trunksize 3mm, 99% healthy, sidenodes have substantial grow, and are between days 12-16. i topped these on day 12, mainly because at the rate they were growing, i feared they were to put too much time and energy into the top nodes i planned on removing. Also, it would be interesting to see how they handled it. AND BOY, handled it, they did! The 600 ml Dosage of water and nutes from Day 6 lasted all the way to Day 11. On Day 11, i added 1 ml/L of Bio Grow from Biobizz and watered both of them with 1 Liter of tapwater, ph'd down to between 6,2 - 6.3. As mentioned, even though the sidenodes were a tad small for my likings, they did not seem to care. see next week for the further progress!

Topping didnt seem to stunt the grow. On Day 15, i added some training stakes. This being my 2nd grow overall, i couldve done way better there, as youll see in the coming weeks. Plant A has had one Sidenode growing faster than the opposing one and it led to a bit of asymmetrical grow, though thats my mistake, not the BPPs. also, for future grows, i'd train the top nodes down even further, as they would soon overtake the other ones. I planned to have 4 main stems but ended up with a weird 2-2 hybrid, lol. But oh well! you live and learn haha. i ramped up the ppfd to around 500. Again, they probably couldve easily taken more. i watered 1.5 Liters on Day 15 - Giving 2.5 ml/L of rootjuice this time and ramping up biogrow to 2 ml/L. This was the first time i had a little bit of runoff to measure the drain ph, which was 5.9 and 5.7 respectively, quite ok, but a tad on the low end for my taste, so for future waterings i reminded myself to give slightly higher input ph.

This week marked the start of flowering - they were showing sex and soon you could make out the little preflower budsites on both of them! This week also marked the start of their explosive grow-stretch phase. Looking back, i should have trained way more aggressive. but not TOO aggressive! on Day 21, i adjusted a prexisting stake too hard and plant Bs main trunk snapped in the middle. (I only fully noticed this in the next week, i just heard a snap but didnt visually see anything, the crack really formed over the next couple of days) A shock for me as an inexperienced grower - but again, as with everything so far, the BPP just. did. not. care. at all. i supported her with some stakes from below and rubbercoated garden wire, but honestly, the plant took good care of itself. Note to self - train early, train evenly, and test flexibility BEFORE adjusting :P Ramped up PPFD to about 600 and Watering to 1,5L on Day 21 and 2L on Day 25. They were getting thirsty! Day 21 was the last time i added root juice with 1 ml/L, and Day 25 i began adding Flowering Nutes and Stims with BioBloom and Topmax, 1ml/L each per plant. PH with both waterings was 6,5. Didnt measure Drain PH cause i was lazy. Also defoliated leaves that were blocking out future budsites. So far, they didnt care about topping, staking them down, defoliating, and Plant B also didnt care 1 bit about being literally ripped in half. i am impressed.

Growing and growing and growing..... This week i ramped up the ppfd to 750 by also bringing the light a good bit closer. Because i got scared by the crack in the previos week, which now showed, i didnt do any more LST-bending shenanigans, though im quite sure it wouldve been already too late for that, as both of the BPPs were growing some dummy thicc stems! Water dosage ramped up to 2.5L which is or is really close to full saturation. PH in stays at 6,5 and out is now around 6,1 and im happy with that. Each plant received 2 ml/L of activera, biogrow and biobloom and 1 ml/L of topmax respectively. They were really putting on some weight. i mainly defoliated a bit, mostly fanleaves that were blocking budsites. in retrospect, i shouldve more aggressively removed whole sidenodes from the inside, because its getting real crowdy in there now. On the last day of week 5, they were growing some nice Flowersides AND - Plant B already started to make a name for herself - she started to purple up!

This week marks the present day at the time of writing since i started the journal on here on oct 6th. Plant A also started to purple up real good. Plant B overall is a few days ahead in flower production i would say, Plant A also stretched for a day or so more - but im happy as to how absolutely even and similiar they grow. Really been an absolute blast and treat so far. Hats off to fastbuds! I stayed at 2.5L watering dosages, Ramping up Grow and Activera to 3 ml/L according to the biobizz schedule. PH in stays at 6,5, Drain stays at 6.1 for both plants. Im happy. They do be looking absolutely gorgeous in my eyes! i kept and keep on lightly defoliating them on watering days, sometimes also in between, but now mainly the small leaves of the bushwork inside that dont receive any light at all. Also, i got a new webcam for better quality timelapse shenanigans. yay! PPFD now sits at around 1000.

Starting this week of with some (in my eyes) beautiful nighttime - shots! Also, i finally found out why Whitebalance is important on my Camera. Whoopsie! Plants got watered on Day 45 with 2,5L each, ramping up BioBloom to 3ml/L as well. If the plants dont tell me they need more, im probably only gonna ramp up topmax from here on out. With the watering, i did some more "aggressive" defoliation, focusing on the inside but also removed some larger fanleaves everywhere. PH in stays 6,5 and out Stays at 6,1 for plant B and 6,2 for Plant A. Sounds good to me! They also started to smell. They did so before, but mainly when i stuck my nose into the tent, and in the bygone weeks, it was, for my untrained nose, more of the typical "weed growing" smell we all know and love. But now - oh boy, now shes showing her olfactorial potential, and i swear to god i can make out banana (more like the peel not the fruit, but banana is banana), but my SO tells me im probably having a stroke. ill die on that hill though - i can smell banana. Theyre done stretching since a bit now, but in the timelapse (which ill add at the end of the week) you can see the flowers starting to swell up and see a difference daily. I said it a lot already, but i will say it again, they grow FAST, they grow beautifully and now they also get budmass going. I dont think they'll be ready to harvest in Week 8 (yet), just because i topped and couldve given more light, but if anyone tells me they harvested their BPP in 8 weeks, im inclined to believe them. My impatient a** is still in awe just how hard they are stepping on the gas. I measured their size for once, Plant A is 62 cm from soil to top, Plant B is 56 cm from soil to top. Plant B is also sitting on a weight as a slight elevation boost since this week. Bit late, but added the timelapse for week 7 for you to enjoy!

Starting this week off again with some nighttime flashlight shots! For their growth, i cant say anything i havent said before, they keep being fast, they keep being awesome, they keep on swelling. Colors are also a treat for the eye, their yellow pistils contrasted by the purple buds, supplemented by the nice green fan leaves. I might even look over the clawing on some leaves and the starting nute burn ;D Staying with nutes, i turned down growth from 3ml/L to 2ml/L for both waterings this week, and ramped up topmax to 2ml/L for the second watering. They still received 2.5L both times, but both are starting to uptake a little less watering, leading me to probably give 2.25L or just 2L the next time, and i will probably wait a day or two more in between waterings. But we will see. I defoliated both on Day 53 pretty aggressively for my terms. This will also probably be the last time i did that, i like how they look now. Maybe some minor leaf-removal if some leaves look at me funny, but probably nothing id call "defoliation" moving forward. Also, some pistils started turning brown. I will, out of curiosity, start checking trichomes, and upload the pics/videos later this week when i will add the usual weekly timelapse. Also also, im still super happy with them. Later this week, here i am adding 3 more shots of both plants and a budsite, and the ever so important timelapse to finish week 8 off. See you next week!

Hello hello again! Starting Week 9 with again some flashlight nighttime shots because i fell in love with that. Growwise, theres nothing much to report. I keep everything more or less the same. Watering 2,5L after 5 Days, usually i had a pretty good 4 day rhythm going but last time they had a tad too much runoff so i decided to let her dry out for a day more. they liked that, back to the usual thirstiness. Nutes changed a bit (grow up from 2 to 2.5, bloom up from 3 to 3.2) but thats just because i did an oopsie. PH stays 6.5 in, 6.2 out. Trichomes i will check later. Pistils are still to white and they dont look ready yet, but its fun taking closeup pictures, so there you go. Other than that, ill skip my usual ramblings about how i love these, you all know that by now :) *Added Trichomes, daytime shots and timelapse at the end of week 9, until next week, happy growing! :

Hello, hello again! Started this week off with yet another, 6.5PH in, 6.2 PH out watering of 2.5L per 9L pot each. I actually, despite my statements in previous weeks, said "ah f*** it" and upped the dosage of bloom (4 ml/L), topmax (4 ml/L), and brought grow back to 3ml/L. They soon about to be harvested, didnt want to deny them a proper last meal. Other than that, we entered what i for myself call the "boring" state. Theyre absolutely nice too look at, and, looking back, have been so much fun to grow, but now i just sit here waiting for Trichomes to amber up. And since its my only tent, i hope they do so equally as fast as the rest of the grow so far. So, nothing much more to tell! No Defoliation, No Adjusting lights, just feeding them and ever so patiently waiting on them. One of the plant has some cool looking foxtails going on. I dont mind it, looks cute. Budsites still keep sweeling up good though. Stigmas are now 50/50. Added some Trichome shots on Nov 3rd, Took a couple of pics and stacked them in Photoshop Day 69, some more Trichome Checks, not quite there yet! See you next week! :) Added Timelapse for week 10!

Welcome to week 11! She aint drinking anymore, still heavy and slightly moist. Shes producing white stigmas like a champ so i wont go after "harvest after 80% have turned brown", i have a feeling id be sitting a long time. Also, in the timelapse i cant see her sweeling anymore. this means. tomorrow, they will both get the AXE! Plant A has more amber trichomes. So i should be able to smoke both and see what i like better, as this is my second grow overall. learning for the next! speaking of which. My Cats chose the next seeds! Next run will be Blueberry and Afghan Kush, also both from Fastbuds. Will drop them into water later and start the new journey!

Its done! Theyre currently hanging to dry so smoke report will have to wait a bit, but ill add it in after drying and ~2-4 weeks of curing. What i can say already though: * Really nice to grow. One Plant didnt mind i cracked her stem in half. No Pests, no diseases. didnt mind topping them really early. * really nice and even phenos. Plant B foxtailed a bit, but thats probably made worse by me. * Buds are dense and really, really sticky. Full of trichomes. * FastBuds also stayed true to their name by giving me some.. Fast Buds. 14/11 After 5 Days of drying: Talk about equal phenotypes (or probably random chance lol)!!!! They both yielded ~55 grams! Smoke report is here! they can definitely cure for longer, but they already smell pretty ok, and the taste is definitely there as well.Im no connoisseur, nor an expert, but they dont taste like "weed". it tastes really fruity is the best way i can describe it. i dont particularly taste banana, i smelled it though while growing, but really good. The high is awesome, i had much respect since its a 26% THC strain and me being a little wuss, BUT if i dont overdo it its really relaxing, calming, and after the initial high wears off, makes me a little sleepy and / or tired. Even though i harvested when most of the trichomes were milky/cloudy, its pleasantly not too strong on the head (it is STRONG dont get me wrong, but not overwhelming is what im trying to say) and way more relaxing the body. I also dont feel couch-LOCKED, i can easily get up and do things, like household stuff for example (vacuuming, dishes etc). After another experience i had at 2 weeks of curing, i can describe the "high", the "hit" or whatever as follows: smoking it: nothing going inside from the baclony: damn, thats all? sitting down: getting hit by a train, lasting about ~15-20 min after that: it immediatly and as suddenly as it came "flushes"(??) down my head into my body, and the "i think i can see through my ears?"-high melts into a relaxing, calm, and chilled out "stoned" feeling. no paranoia even through the "where is now"-high, but i think if youre used to the high coming in slowly it can be surprising or even slightly unsettling.

This looks really good. Nice purple color already! Interested to see how this turns out... What kind of webcam did you go with? I pried a cheap Blink camera out of Bezos hands, but it's pretty limited in terms of time lapse.

@NastyNatesJungle, sorry for the late answer! i just saw the reply now : But yes, i absolutely have! I will probably get a dedicated Pi for the tent anyway, since this one is running outside at my desk as a pihole and is connected to a switch for the devices in my LAN. if i were to put sensors into the tent, i need some 5meters of cable for each to connect to the pi, haha. but all the more reason to get another one! :]

@sellem, Thanks for that info. That's a creative solution with scripting! I was thinking dusting off my old Pi and trying to get it involved in the grow setup. Timelapse videos are insanely cool - I'll hit you up when I get there. Thanks! Have you thought about trying to use the Pi in other ways? Maybe for watering or data capturing? Just been thinking to myself...

@NastyNatesJungle, Hi, thanks first of all! 😍 I used an old logitech 720p 60° FOV webcam up until now. i did upgrade to a 1080p one with a 82° FOV. So starting from Week 7 the timelapse quality will improve drastically. (Edit: Forgot you can already see the change in week 6 at the end, day 41) The webcams themselves for me dont need any timelapse capability per se, as theyre hooked to a raspberry pi via a 5m usb extension cord. The raspi just runs a simple script that takes a picture via the webcam every X (in my case 15) minutes. The raspi also runs 24/7 since its also working as a network filter (PiHole). But this will also work with any modern programmable "Device" that you can run 24/7 or alongside your light schedule, like a PC, laptop, etc. If you plan on doing something like this yourself, im happy to help. Slightly off topic, but the webcam also "livestreams" the tent for me, so when im out of the house, on vacation, at work, etc, i can always take a peek inside 😁😁

@VTR90, yeah the colors turned out amazing! Its a bit of trickery due to lights out and flashlight, in true colors, like outside of the tent, its not that extreme. But still a nice and powerful purple. And thanks for the good luck! :)
