Heatwave is here:( Equipment is struggling. Hard to watch over grow room constantly. Surge protector tripping out as the equipment never cools down or has a break. A/C and dehumidifier running 24 hrs. Plus I had to hook up another a/c unit for the family. Got to keep them cool at night too. I’d feel bad if my ladies were cooler then my girls 😜 Got new lights but they were to intense even at the recommended distance. Just had to much light and to much overlapping made it to intense. I took out the 2 smaller 600’s and now just have the 2-2000’s in there but with the heatwave I had to dim them to 50% and now 25% incase I don’t get home in time from work and not able to open tent all the way as equipment is not doing the job in this heat:( also if the circuit trips out again then I don’t want the temps to sky rocket. Last few times it trip temps and humidity increased to 86F and 65% RH, mind you I corrected it within the hour of it happening each time, so not to bad and that’s at the top of the canopy and lower into it didn’t quite get that high as on the floor it only raised to 82F. And for my troubles I see what I believe is the start of burnt leaves:( I should have known better as the top growth seemed to be a bit lighter and stretchy:( I’ll have these lights better dialled in for next time! Grow on!

Flowering is finally upon us, only took a long, but enjoyable, years worth of research and preparation, looking forward to the next few weeks even more, can't wait to see what it's like when im back from vacation in a couple weeks. I'll only be gone for 18 days, already have multiple friends who can come by to water them once and help tuck the stretch. Will probably be the last update for a little bit, but ill try and get a few updates in over the holidays.

Phenomenal growth! Hands up to fastbuds for the genes! Huge buds loaded with crystals and a fruity poo smell lol very weird. Excited to get these girls on the scales and see how the Rosin comes out

I veg them for 10 weeks. The two on each end are Blue Dream, the back left is Purple Urkle, the back right is Grandaddy Purple, and the one up from in the middle is Wifi OG.

8/14/2024 Topped plant A due to the node spacing and side branching. Hopefully, this will cause this pheno to bush out a bit more. Intentionally FIMed plant B due to the short internodal spacing and difficulties getting a clean cut for a topping. This plant is already quite bushy and condensed - hoping that it will respond nicely to FIM. Water was not changed over entirely, only added one fresh gallon of nutrient water with additional nutrients added to step up entire system to close to 575-600ppm. Both plants are looking great, root zone needs some improvement with water temperatures. I have ordered a larger water cooler and hope that will help reduce the water temperature inside the tent. Although water temps are a bit high in the buckets, the roots are flourishing and are pearly white! 8/16/2024 Noticed Plant A is showing signs of potassium issues. Added one fresh gallon of non-nutrified water as I was unable to complete a water change. 8/17/2024 Pumped out 5 gallons of nutrient water and refreshed with 5 new gallons. Both plants look to be responding well to the water change. The resulting PPM was 650 after allowing time for the system to reach equilibrium. Extra insulation on the buckets is helping to maintain lower water temperatures throughout the day with lights on in the tent. The environment is pretty well dialed in at an average 1.2-1.6 VPD. 8/19/2024 Replaced water cooler with one that is twice the size and rated for 15-gallon systems. Running reservoir temp target at 18.5 C. Conducted some minor LST on the bushy plant (Plant B) to get the middle opened up a bit more. Did some leaf tucking on plant A to get the lower branches some more direct light. 8/20/2024 Both plants are looking phenomenal. There is a very slight cannabis smell in the tent at all times.

On day 40 from sprout ( 07/02/20) I switched them to flower.

2nd time growing this strain. Was the best of the bunch last harvest under a cheap 300W LED drawing ~100W from the wall yet still gave me over 4oz Hoping under this brand new Spider Farmer SF-4000 I'll get much more. Just fed plain water in week 1.

So like I said last week, this is definitely not an autoflower..10 weeks of veg in a one gallon container, it makes absolute, you know sense, and the second I flipped her, she flipped... So at this point i'm just hoping it's still purple haze... i will say she's been happy and she's growing right along, as you can tell she's crowning nicely, and she's stacking fairly quickly for what's supposed to be a heavier sativa leaning plant ... by the looks of her plant leaves, she looks like a right down the middle of the road hybrid.. As long as when she's all said and done, she looks and smokes good.You won't hear me complain... I really hope everyone is doing well. God bless and a happy growing ✌️

2/1 Week 12! Re-introducing the Peak PK in low dose as I begin to migrate the plant to all Peak and then flush I hope all in less than two weeks. Will step things daily, tomorrow it will be 10 ml CT 10 ml Peak with an eye on the ppm. You get the idea, she has to finish and fast. Valuable lesson, don't have anything ever backed up behind a sativa grow waiting on them to finish, it aint worth it. Grow em at the end of a cycle. 2/2 put the feed at 12ml CT 7ml Peak thought maybe its too much of a swing, tomorrow 10 and 10 2/3 10ml of each this morning. Got to move things along, new plan is to begin flush at start of new week this weekend, At flush changing lights to 12/12 , binding her back up just a little, then placing one of the testers on a stand in the tent to take pressure off the veg tent. 5-7 days later we harvest based on what we see. We cannot come up with anything better As far as growth she is doing great, its a heavy plant and the hairs are still straight and 95% white! Build so fast 2/4 All is well Tara really seems to like the 10-10 dose so leaving it for now. Changed light schedule to match the veg tent. This is to accommodate the near arrival of one of the photos. In a few days the plant will have to finish off at 12-12 so the photo can flip. Not ideal but practical from our point of view. Keeping our hopes up here and uttering my characteristic prayer... Please God dont let me foul this up... Amen 2/5 Feeding as before Had to bind her up a bit, she is so heavy we were afraid of her toppling over. Seriously this plant is TOP HEAVY. Hindu Kush isn't doing so great. I changed the solution 2 days ago. I am hopeful that it fixes it. She will likely be getting switched out into another room so the bigger plants can flower and not get too big on me. So she will be a long grow if she makes it.
