He who stops is lost, as an old saying goes
I don't know exactly what the origins are, so here's a new Zamnesia season.
We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.
So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation.
Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well.
100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots.
----- Our Rainbow Sherbet has a beautiful package of seeds, colorful that really makes you want to grow it. The genetic conditions are all there and at birth everything went smoothly like hemp oil. If you have placenta problems read below.
It is an indica predominance if it does well we will send it to the AWC competition and see what happens.
WARNING: Placenta Problems ---- ALWAYS look very carefully at the seedlings, if the seed or the placenta prevent the opening of the cotyledon leaves the plant dies after a while. Remove it delicately as if it were a condom or almost. I apologize for the example but it gives the idea to remove slowly delicately please.
WARNING: If you choose biodegradable pots choose the largest possible and not paper/cardboard ones there are peat which is the main component of most of the soil we use.
If you want to avoid transmitting vibrations to your neighbors I recommend you install one of these gym floors under your growboxes, I did it and I also feel safer not to disturb. They are easily found on Amazon in different thicknesses, I took a gym model that is assembled like a puzzle, they are also found in children's shops, they are those floors that are assembled to make children play safely, or to train and to avoid vibrations from equipment or of any kind.
Everything will be grown Plagron Pro Mix with 100% fertilizers let's start with Power Roots 1 Ml/l

The RainBow Sherbet really have everything in its place, they are beautiful plants, one was planted a few days later because a little sister damaged by the placenta was replaced, but we are talking about 4 (5 days of difference between the two, nothing special, I will not have to do hrvest on the same day.
Growing projects for autoflowering plants ----- As for autoflowering plants, I really love preserving the Main Cola. So I will try to make the plants grow well or badly without damaging the main cola. Nowadays, topping autoflowering plants is very accepted but it is not my favorite thing to transform a baby born to finish in 10 weeks into a baby who finishes in 14, I say at this point I do photoperiodic. But in times of people who only grow autoflowering everything is permitted for goodness sake if you want to do it, do it, I will not be the one to stop you. Also because the results are excellent, nothing to really discuss about anything except time.
All this to tell us that I recommend for example fimming on plants that tend to grow tall to give power to the side branches, LST as much as you want, I don't like too much, I need space. HST and splitting are with experience. These are my tips not the absolute truth please do not mistake me for a great sage holder of the truth I speak as I see it.
The first week went only with Power Roots 1 Ml/l and Pure Zym 1 ml/l from now on we will start with ALga Grow. The plants were transplanted shortly after germination because the biodegradable pots were very small. The soil is Plagron Pro Mix 100% organic renewed with 30% new soil and 20% Perlite added. (Pro mix does not have perlite but is airy, we added it anyway)
Plagron fertilizers are available at Zamnesia in convenient Pack formats for all growing styles. I used this one with a simple search you can find the other products.

Collaboration request: I am available for collaborations with companies of lights and various growing equipment (please no seed and nut companies) I would like to renovate my 120x120 space that has slightly outdated lights and would like to try some controllers. If you have any proposals available.
Our Ghost Train Haze Automatic by Zamnesia started off very well, they had a good sprint since I added Alga grow and they had the chance to start metabolizing the powerful additives from Plagron. We quickly got to the first topping, as with all the others I decided to make a plant with the techniques and a tip. I'm not completely ready to give up the main cola.
Applied Techniques - Given the numerous requests from growers, we decided to show you what happens when you apply the topping + Lst to autoflowering plants. It is very important to anticipate it as much as possible, autoflowering plants start flowering at about the 5th intenodo, you need to anticipate that moment to give the plant the chance to vegetate as much as possible. In general, when you see that there are two good side branches, you can do topping, they will go into veg as much as possible and you will have a split plant, I have seen very nice results, especially in warm periods when the plant tends to vegetate a lot, in winter we could have a bit of dwarfism but with a lot of resin for sure.
So I cleaned everything and cut at the top leaving only the main growth line, called Main Lining, the florets will be lowered during growth and the plant will eventually be like "split" in the main line with the various branches.
On photoperiodic plants, however, we will do topping repeatedly, which is not recommended with autoflowering plants so as not to lengthen the times of plants born to finish in 10 weeks.
The second week (including a few days of germination) we gave Power Roots 1 ml/l, Pure Zym 1 ml/l, Sugar Royal 1 ml/l, Alga Grow 3 ml/l -

Here we are at day 21 (last week you see another plant let me explain), remember that we planted two plants per strain, we are between the third and fourth week for the bigger plants (which will be worked with topping x2 and then Main Lining) and between the first and second week for the smaller ones that will grow free to show their magnificent main cola at the end.
I made this choice to give the friends of Zamnesia and the growers who use their fantastic seeds the opportunity to see the difference between a plant grown straight and one grown with the help of various techniques that will change from Autoflowering to Photoperiod.
We did a little damage on one of the Rainbow sherbets, doing Main lining a brunches broke so this week you see the smaller plant that has been worked again. The other big one is however repaired and there is another one just born that will go straight with main cola.
It is working very well on this plant that seems suitable for Main Lining. The branches should be worked when they are still very soft and have not wooded and must assume the most open position possible.
This is done in the style of a friend here on Growdiaries who in my opinion is the best, at least the most elegant of all, Mr. @Yan402 does a fantastic job and then he buries the lower part of the plant and it all comes out very beautiful to look at, I like his style I want to try it, great friend of mine. Low topping at the second internode then we lower the branches and open them as much as possible attached to the ground and then bury the first part of the plant.
As for the fertilizers I kept them a little low for this reason, during the topping the plant slows down and by slowing down all that table nitrogen is useless, but only while topping not before, in fact on some I have absolutely solvable deficiencies but you never stop learning as you see.
In winter I would like to point out another thing, the plant drinks much more slowly and sometimes dries up in three days, so we are giving less fertilizer and creating possible spaces for deficiencies.
It has shown some signs of deficiency but it is all recoverable.

We have passed the month and we are madly in love with all our autoflowering plants, we have two per strain, one worked with a mainlining adapted according to the characteristics of the plant and one that grows straight, we can't easily give up the main cola.
For now we will show you those worked with the techniques that are more interesting to see and later planted first to make them finish more or less together with those that will grow straight and fast.
I couldn't stop shooting.... Our Rainbow Sherbet is really very very beautiful, the main lining was perfectly successful and there is a small difference compared to the others. In fact, we made the first topping cut and consequent formation of the mainfold at the second internode instead of the third. I managed to bend the branches very well and the laterals have already lengthened in a very effective way and perfectly parallel to the ground. and the lateral branches are always continuing parallel to the ground and I like it a lot. amazing this plant will have many effective branches.
So topping at the third internode, main lining, no pruning until the third internode and topping them again so we have multiplied the buds adequately.
The application of the techniques is a delicate moment also for fertilization. Topping slows down the growth of the plant a bit and does not make it require all that Grow fertilizer that is normally recommended. So you have to go really slow and understand when to reduce the nitrogen. Better to prepare the soil with fertilizers to mix with the soil probably. The problem is sweeping now that it is going into flowering, the plant has shown the first fluff, declared the sex, and the fertilizer will soon be needed indeed. You have to inflate.
In any case everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what he does.
Remember that cold temperatures make the girls absorb food much more slowly than in summer, so be careful to give the right amount and let the plant dry in maximum 2 days or you risk imbalances.
We are always using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives of Plagron 100& organic, we have only lowered the amount of grow in this topping phase for the reasons mentioned above.

With our RainBow Sherbet we are about a week late compared to the others, it is now starting to throw out the first hairs that reveal the sex, this is probably the plant where the main lining has been applied in a more effective way.
If you look at it, the plant has a main structure that is a perfect T, this forms the main line of growth. From here the branches start up to the third internode where I topped again. On the laterals no topping except at the two ends of the main lining.
It is really very beautiful to look at and practically flattened to perfection on the ground.
With autoflowering plants, topping at the second internode is advisable as I did on this plant because it is easier to keep it low and perpendicular to the ground with the main lining and above all because flowering is anticipated as much as possible. Let's say that the plant starts to flower at the 5th internode, you understand well that cutting at the second instead of the third also saves time.
It is a plant that has a long internodal distance so we have more time to shape it before the woodification and it is very suitable for late lst interventions.
Another one is growing straight and is still small but I will show it to you soon, I have concentrated a lot on this one in main - lining.
We will not see the super productive trees of the autumn harvest but I am willing to bet that we will have a lot of beauty and a lot of resin in beautiful bush-sized plants.
Wait for the uncle BreadandBuds....
We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start card that maintains the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer now is Alga Bloom.
The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a little swollen, do not start immediately. The Power Buds must immediately stimulate the initiation and development of the buds.

Our Rainbow Sherbet has started to flower, the main lining here worked really well. Unlike the other plants I cut at the second internode to create the mainfold.
This is a smart choice because autoflowering plants flower more or less at the 5th / 6th internode, if you have to do topping it is better to start as soon as possible to delay flowering as much as possible.
Another reason for topping / mainfold at the second internode is that the plant is lower and you can work the mini brunches much better. In fact here we managed to create a T-minlining. In the sense that the mini brunches form a perfect 90 degree T with the main stem which is not easy at all.
To do this you have to use the arches with the wire it is much more complicated and the cut at the second internode helps a lot.
So topping at the second internode, mainfold and then continue for another three internodes and topping again. You can decide to cut something along the way I left perhaps too much stuff here. However, for better or worse, everything that can see a fair amount of light enough to flower well is left.
The plant is a specimen with a medium internodal distance and I managed to work it reasonably well.

Our Rainbow Sherbet of course from Zamnesia like all my plants has been the territory of realization for an exceptional mainfolding.
After a topping that would seem very premature at the second internode (But that in autoflowering is also appropriate to delay flowering) I managed very well to make the lateral branches grow parallel to the ground. They form a T with the main stem that comes out of the ground a little. It seemed like it should be low, some joker even joked about it and instead it is becoming a nice little monster. It made the lateral branches start and all that then worked with a successful main lining on which I made the only mistake of leaving a little too much stuff at the bottom that I am cleaning up little by little as I understand that it will not see much light or will not produce satisfactory flowers.
The main stem that runs parallel to the ground is very beautiful to look at and is from the main lining manual.
The structure created with mainfoldindg, mainlining, topping and lst vari is very pleasant, the plant is at medium internodal distance and flowers quickly so it is a plant on which I would feel like recommending these techniques that it is true that they can slow down the harvests but they give a satisfaction to the sight and an unparalleled fun in making them.
We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. We are still in the early flowering program that maintains the same additives Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Obviously the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom.
The Green Sensation hero of the late flowering will arrive and at the same time it will be time to remove power roots and a week later the enzymes. (The plant left to grow straight and straight ahead of time has been taking it for a while)

We have two very very pretty Rainbow Sherbet at different stages of flowering.
The smallest one left to grow straight is doing very well and is in its first week of flowering. It is a plant that grows fast and primes very well.
The plant worked with the main lining is really very beautiful.
On her I was very successful in bending the branches of the main mainfold creating a very interesting T.
The two ends of the main lining with their branches are the main ones and have shot up but there is good stuff everywhere halfway through the flowering phase let's say. Really excellent resin guys already from halfway through flowering
The shape is very very beautiful as is the structure of this plant for real.
We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic.
We only noticed that the plant was becoming too dark and stopped the basic ALga Bloom fertilizer leaving intact additives and boosters to allow the flower to have the boost it deserves.

Our three Rainbow Sherbet Automatic of course from Zamnesia Seeds are taking a great turn.
There are three because I thought one of which I had broken a brunch during a late main lining attempt and I thought it was flowering badly... well, I thought is the right word....
This plant that you see in the photo in the growbox, has the same strain and in my opinion phenotype behind it because the resemblance is great and there is this peculiarity. The buds remain small for a long time or rather they have a construction that makes you think they will remain small but then spaf sbabam and ciof: beautiful flowers full of resin a magnificent color. You will understand what I mean if you look at the plant that is behind... it blooms very well in my opinion.
The third plant worked with the mainlining was planted and vegetated in the period of maximum cold, it is very beautiful and of a different phenotype. It really looks great, the main lining was perfect, I left a bit too much stuff underneath to be honest but the plant and flowers are in great condition. It has reined and swelled very well I expect a great finish.
This plant has been in intensive flush for a week to harvest it as soon as possible.
