It’s-a-growing... Not too stoked on how quick the top layer of soil is drying out with the hot weather. Definitely see a decrease in predator mite activity on the surface... hopefully they’re still busy down below. I added straw to help keep the upper layer from drying out... This decrease in beneficial bug activity could also be from switching to tap water... I did some rain water from my barrel to begin with, but got scared of pathogens because I know crows take lunch breaks on my roof and their scraps definitely means rodents coming in to clean up 😩 The tap water has no chloramide in it, so that’s a good thing. Hopefully my tiny air pump and stones bubbling a 5 gallon bucket for 24 hours gets rid of enough chlorine to keep the micro biological ecosytem in balance 🙏

Mid way through Week 6. I’m finally current in my grow diary so hopefully I can keep it updated in real time.

Plant is 21 cm high because of low stress training. The length of the stem is 34 cm. Day 43 ☁️🌧️☁️🌧️⛈️ 14 - 17 degrees, humidity is about 72 % I prepared some simple comfrey manure for the next weeks of flowering. It‘s rich in silica and tannins and essential minerals. Mostly all fruit vegetables and flowers like it, so Tropicana will have it as a tee or head fertilization, as well as in her water mixed 1:20 and 1:5. Same procedure like with tomatoes or peppers. No watering in the next days. The soil is soaked with rainwater. The growth is a bit slow in the last cold and rainy days but the flowers look nice.😊 Day 44 ☁️☁️🌥️☁️🌥️ 14-20 degrees and humidity is around 64 % Day 45 ⛅️☁️🌧️☁️🌧️ 13-21 degrees and humidity is around 69 % The flowers started to stack. The soil is too moist but I can‘t change here a lot. Don’t need too water in the neuerer Future and aafe water for late summer. Think when I can drink my next relax tee - take same leafs. Now Tropicana needs all of them for transpiration. Heavy pots. Too wet springtime. 🌧️☔️ Day 46 ☁️🌥️⛅️🌤️ 13-19 degrees, humidity is falling. Windy. The flowers are stacking up. 🐞🐞 did their job and left. With them the mites disappeared (hide). But I found some eggs under the leafs off all three of my cannabis plants. So I will have an eye on this… balcony problem! Wait some more days and bring a couple of 🐞 again. Found some magnifying glass and it suits with my camera lens. Day 47 🌤️☀️🌤️ 11-22 degrees, humidity 89 % and getting even higher this night. Took out two leafs. Day 48 🌤️🌤️🌤️ 17-23 degrees, humidity 89-43%, falling! Tropicana got a liquid breakfast this morning made out of two liter rainwater with 20% ready comfrey manure which is rich in silica and tannins and essential minerals. Be careful with liquid manure as you should have experience in giving high doses. Never more then 20% of the watering on moist soil and never give it pure and after the water. It will burn the roots. This is very fresh, only one week old and not too concentrated. Next week I will give maybe 10%. So, we just enjoy a sunny morning with a healthy breakfast and coffee! 😊 Day 49 ⛅️☁️🌥️ 10-20 degrees and humidity is 91%. Tropicana got thirsty. She drinks more, 0-5-0,75 liters rainwater. I will never use black pots again, too warm soil on the sunny side and the water evaporates faster. I‘m quit lucky with my new hobby and with my beautiful Tropicana. Time for a relax tee. Took some leafs off plant no. two and three.

With my 30x jeweler scope i barely see clear and it’s my first time inspecting trichomes so i hope she finishes at goal of 90%milky as in the eyes they look more clear but more attention to it i think it’s ready according to colors and fastbuds guide chart will intentionally harvest on week11 day1 (from seed) hope it’s not too early

Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of veg. Sure are growing now. The roots are liking the compost they found. Got my hydro system up and running in here. Last year I had some small tips on the hydro leads and was giving 15 minutes of solution per day. I've got different, new tips this year, a lot more open. The landscapers call them 1/2 circle. I had been watering with rainwater and having the runoff run back to the reservoir. Good thing I checked it, it was; 7 ph and 1800 ppm. Adjusted it to 6.2 ph and 1200 ppm. I can give the same amount of solution in 2 minutes now, so my 15 gallon reservoir will last a week. It's not quite enough liquid to have them fully watered, so I feel with my fingers and when dry enough I give a gallon or two of water until it runs out and back into the reservoir (the green hose is tray drainage back to the reservoir). The plants loved it last year and I'll do the same thing. Got the plants spreading out now. I can see the mainlines spreading under the rungs of the table. I got some bamboo from Canadian Tire and filled the space between tables. I might get some more and make something to hold the budding branches up (like the soccer net but with bamboo). Made the first video of this year. You can get a feeling of how it is in here. 😃 I'll try to make one a week to keep you updated. I think that's everything for this week. So i never ended up doing the nutes i had. I waited until seeing pre flower and top dressed with natures living soil autoflower concentrate. So far so good. I do think they were cal-mag starved prior to adding this because they did start to yellow a bit in between veins. Going all organic from here on out and doing super soil.

It's her first week on 12/12. Changed to 6-12-36 powdered nutrients now.

Because of the start I had I ended up having to use all 3 seeds. Only 2 germinated. The lemon pie went from seed to harvest in 93 days. This was the only plant that I had any real problems with during the grow. I accidentally broke one of my colas shortly after I topped her, so instead of 6 mains I only had 5. She also looked very sorry for herself for a long time, like she was being over watered. Anyway she went from a duck to a Swan. Turned out with some real nice colour to her, she could have really done with another week in the tent to hit her full potential.

Ze Chem Bang is growing well. She is stretching, and starting to flower. Everything is going really well. There is not much to report at the moment. Fo' Twenny Back with another update on this awesome little Northern Light Blue Auto from Delicious Seeds! I have been giving plain tap water run through 2 KDF filters as of 9/5 and I moved her into the bloom room under quantum boards set on 12/12 to make room for the next run and maybe help her finish faster. 9/9 - She seems to be bulking up a bit in her last few days, but I waited a day too long to water and got she started to wilt/droop a bit. So, there are a few dead/brown leaves I've been having to pick out of her and thus begins pre-harvest defoliation. 9/13 - More defoliation and put her in a loosely sealed box to give 48-72 hours darkness. Harvest, coming soon. 9/15 - Checked her today and she could still use another day to dry out. I have never tried the darkness before harvest thing, but a lot of growers swear by it. So, I figure, why not? I will let her go until she is a bit drier and then give her the chop! Thanks for checking out my diary.
