Hello Growers & Tokers! The route to having a jungle starts with the roots! That's why my main goal in those first 14-21 days is developing the root system. I like to give them time to expand the roots which is very important for a healthy plant. That also gives them more time to get bigger and stronger before going into flower. More growth, more bud sites, more buds. Trust me the wait is worth the reward. We'll be seeing some truly sweet and zenzational flowers. This week they got transplanted to their final pot, 11L fabric pots. It's one step closer to getting that jungle, zenzational! Medium used was Light Mix from BioBizz. Synergy from Grotek nutrients was blended in the medium to help out the roots. Let the mycorrhizae do its job and take over the soil, then the roots just follow. Ice bomb is looking great, and smells great. I'm gonna add some orange essential oil to flush water for first week. I raised light, I seen fox tailing starting so back off till ripening. She got a nice frost from the Unit Farm UF2000, and UF4000 lights. RQS Titan F1 week 5 Hello friends and followers, 2/25 This has been an exciting week. My Titan girls started flower 🌼. T3 in the 3-gallon air pot is larger at 6.5 inches. Last week I noticed her new growth was getting long and thin. A sure sign the pistils will emerge in a day or two. T3 started flower 🌼on 2/25. 2/26 Surprise surprise, T3 stretched an inch overnight and T2 about a.5 inch. That stretch meant I had a busy plant workday ahead. First, I defoliated T3 since I could see what I had to work with. Then because I’ve been following @yan402 on his Titan grow, I said I was going to top her. He said its ok if done correctly and at the right time. Well, fingers crossed 🤞, I hope it was not too late or cut in yhe wrong place since T3 was already in flower. Her short (.75-1” long) stems are so close to the stem, it was difficult getting the tie down pins placed. With T2’s stretches her tippy top is just peeking above the copper pot rim. She is towering 😅 at 2.5 inches. T2 was defoliated on 2/26 as well. Her defoliation pictures above show how many I was able to trim off 7 and the leaf relative size. T2’s largest leaf is the size of a quarter and the smallest set I cut off, about the size of a penny. I keep supplementing and folar spraying with Cal-mag but the internodal chlorosis is still visible. I think Teapot gal (T2) has a copper excess.  Slowed Growth,  Fewer branches  Internodal Chlorosis  Stumpy roots (I won’t see this until I harvest and reveal the root ball) Given these symptoms of copper excess, and that RQS Titan are F1 hybrids and should be stable, I believe the height and the health differences are attributable to the copper wire teapot. They are in the same soil, same tent environment, same nutrient solution, same light, same everything. As I stated in previous discourse, I expected the overall plant to be smaller than T3 simply based on the pot size but did not expect to see such size differences so early, not to mention the nutrient issues. How I wonder? The copper wire is separated from the plant and soil by coco liner (which should be neutral, then coffee filters because I thought the soil would was out). Then the soil and plant. T2 is towering at 2.5 inches and started flower on 2/29. I expected a delay in her flowering time (4 days after T3) since she was transplanted to the teapot when T1 failed to thrive (maybe also the teapot cause?). Any time you train your plants, the stress causes delays in flowering then harvest. I defoliated T2 on 3/1 day 30. The pictures after defoliation show the tight node structure with 3 or 4 nodes crammed in only 1.5 inches of the main stem. Sheesh. So, as we enter March, we are off and growing buds. RQS says harvest 70-75 days or 40-45 days of flower. My calculations – harvest will be April 13-18. Be sure to come for my tea

It has a quick response in measurements, is accurate, and I am very happy about the possibility of online monitoring of liquid values. After day off use i can tell that all readings are very consistent, compared with Milwaukee, totally without all over the place measurements. Perfectly steady and on spot receding! The Program device runs flawlessly all day, and I hope it has solved all the problems I had with DH48-S timers. The humidity control operates without errors throughout the day, and it’s nice to see in the app when the module is active. Raise light as much as i can..50-55cm from canopy. Really sorry for anyone that was actually following and wanted to see updates but I had to take some time away and neglected this project. My friend/neighbour/weed mentor passed away and I just haven’t felt the same. Moving along, after cleaning up most of the big fan leaves I decided to just switch into flower… I have 3 seedlings of Tropicana poison F1 saved out of 40. This was the next project of my friend that has passed. My goal is to finish this grow and honor my late friend with a grow diary of his plants. I’m sure he’ll be smiling above. 36 hours of darkness before proceeding to switch lighting to 12/12 Added 3 feedings a day now, but reduced the amount fed. Food has been given extra liquid mycorrhiza and bacteria. Will be using PLAGRON: Green sensation 4-in-1 in addition to megacrop at week 4 of flowering and see if there’s any benefits

👉this is week start of week 8 and the switch to the 12/12 schedule. the plant is on the 6th week on the GH nutrient chart for its flora series drain to waste schedule.This is considered early bloom and the only difference from the transition nutrients is the reduction of FloraGrow and addition of Liquid KoolBloom. The water I use is RO water from a medical grade industrial machine (not on site). Its conductivity is .04ms. Its 98.5% pure water. I believe this is helping me mix my nutrients at full strength and achieve the middle to upper end of the recommended ec range. The volume of plant uptake has increased quite alot. I am averaging 2 liters two times a day, but as the week progressed a couple of high flow fertigations were needed to keep the run off below +30ms. I feed my Marigold plant the run-off after Ive measured it. The fertigation station is in a closet in another room and doorways wipe my memory so I fed 99 the runoff a couple days ago (9-16). So I fertigated 1.5 liter immediately. That runoff was close to 30+. The lights were going out so the next morning i fertigated with 4liters. That runoff was +10. That night was 2liters w/.9 liter runoff +10. I plant on keeping the flow a little high to help prevent any nutrient deficiencies while its doing the early flowering stretch. 👉The plant is lush and green and growing as a nice round bush. Stout main stalk and is 21". I began plucking lower leaves that were reducing airflow around the base. These could pose a mildew risk if left on because they are in contact with the pot and reducing airflow across the top of the media. They were shaded now by the expanding branches above so it was time to remove them. I like to take leaves gradually, one or two per fertigation event. I also have taken off the bottom 3 branches. They were healthy and had plenty of potential bud sites...but they would be in the shade and never meet the potential of the upper buds. I may take two more low branches, but I will keep them if they keep stretching outward and upwards and stay in the direct light. When they start flowering full time I will have removed as many of the potential larf bud nodes on the interior of each branch. Nothing extreme, just the basic lollipop on the bottom and reducing larf production up top. 👉I am using a cordless work light to make the pictures better. My phone camera flash isnt bright enough to over come the LED blurple and the addition of the very bright work light makes the picture way better. As you can see I will still be taking some of the pix with the LEDs on, but also use the camera flash and the work light and that helps bring out the green better. But lights out show a more detailed realistic image and I will include more pix this way. 👉Switching to 12/12 has been a challenge. I work varied hours and making it home before lights out is hit and miss. Also being a stoner I forget stuff if I get distracted by a movie, a sporting event or a shiny object, so visits to the tent during dark times will happen. I have green lights installed in the room and in the hallway. I have a good headlamp with green LEDs. I missed the first day and had to fertigate after hours...sigh. I took pictures with the green light on but no flash.

So this is my first diary here and I'm going to start from week 11 so there's should only be another week or two left. My next one I'll do properly from the start. Also this feeding schedule was the last ammendment I did but was in week 10 and not this week. As I only started on week 11 I thought I'd just add it to show what I've given her. This is just 1 Northern Lights Autoflower from Royal Queen Seeds. I've topped her twice and done some LST and lollipopped just as she was going into flower..which was around week 5. I use 100% organic top soil amendments from Living Soils every 2 weeks. I water about 2 days after the top soil goes completely dry only in the mornings. And she's on a 20/4 light cycle. I vegged her in a standard plastic pot then transplanted at the end of week 5 into a 10l pot with the coco loaded with all of the above (minus the guano which I added at the start of week 3 of flower) with the aim of her hitting those amendments at the right time..so I wouldn't have to amend again for another 2 weeks which seemed to work out. I tested the run off shortly after the first feeding for flowering and it was really high - 3000ppm - alongside the pH which which was really low - 4.89 (as expected as its runoff) however I had oyster shell in that first feeding which should help raise the pH and my local tap water is hard so there's extra Calcium and a bit of Megnesium in there too. I also added a couple of drops of biobizz ph+ to the water. And with the mycorrhizae..which should kick in and colonise the root system in about 3 to 4 weeks..should create a mycillium network to help this living soil regulate everything!! Which it did as I tested the runoff again everytime I fed (every 2 to 3 days) and it slowly went down ending up at 1000ppm and a pH of 5.9 which was spot on. I also had a massive scare as I found small white bugs in the medium when I disturbed the top soil. Thinking they were spider mites thankfully they were Symphalans which after researching eats seedling roots or decaying organic matter..so they're essentially cleaning the medium..and they stay under the soil away from the light. She is pretty small and compact. I'm testing autoflowers as I've never tried them before. I'm slightly annoyed as I knocked my dimmer down to 60% without realising..so out it back to 100% and as a result I'm guessing she may have been stunted along with topping her twice or maybe it's just the strain. But I have seen other a lot bigger. But she is looking really healthy and has done from the start. The colour you see has been there from the start and she hasn't had any deficiencies. Tricones are coming along nicely and some of the sugar leaves look like they're starting to deplete in nutritients as they're going slightly yellow on the edges so not long. I'm guessing 2 more weeks from today but I wouldn't be surprised if she hits 13 weeks which is what I'm hoping for as her last feed was last week which would give her an extra week to 'flush'. Also the Bat Boost from Guanokalong has an NPK ratio of 0-10-0 and not 0-0-2 like it states.
