So This week was the same as the last really, It seems all I have to do is sit back and watch these ladies do their thing! Ive not gone full on with the bloom supplements or PK yet as only 2/5 of the GG are seriously flowering. The other 3/5 GG are now Finally showing some signs of flower and some tops are starting to build and lowers producing more pistils each day! The Stardawgs continue to explode, even some friends who were sceptical about the performance of the Quantum board LED's have been flow away by the results. All of the buds seem to be building dramatically top to bottom which no shortage of frost! Macro shots on the way!!

Hey y'all sorry I've been a little slow with the updates but life is busy... You know. Anyway let's check in on our Indoor girl. The flowering stretch is waaaaay under way she's grown almost double her height in the last two week. I've had a bend quite a few tall stems down. To keep her flat but there's flowers every where. Since we're only two weeks from harvest it's time to put away the Dutch Science and begin our flush. Lots of water and regular TDS checks of run off are the mission, a TDS value of less than 250 ppm is the goal. Week eight also means it's time to defoliate ,which is awesome cause this girl was looking very shabby. Now shes got that nice breezy up do. Looking forward to seeing what those Big Bud genetics can do for our beautiful Northern Lights. 😎🇨🇦

Buds everywhere…the smell is also coming along. I gave her too much tiger bloom which is noticeable on her leaf tips but the benefits are worth it. I had an attack of the aphids trying to destroy the stem but I pulled out the spray and got rid of them. She takes training really well and bounces back from the pest attack quite nicely. I am also impressed with the way she leafed out after the defoliation.

3/4 Day 16 Flower Changing PK to KoolBloom as the Peak has run out. Will work up the CT nuets to @10ml/gal or so as the burnt tips have proven kind of a red herring. The psychosis looks like it's stopped growing right at it limit for the space that it is in... hopefully it doesn't grow anymore than 4 inches from now. All plants are doing great tbh and the space is getting limited for maintenance now but after week five I won't need be inside the room until around harvest time !!

End of day 35 flower Had an issue with cal/mag deficiency with the White Widow so I had to flush her and increase cal/mag to 5ml/gal. So she should be back on track to produce fatter buds. Royal Gorilla isn't fattening up so hopefully she will this coming week. Also gave her a good flush with some florakleen. Defloiated so the buds on the bottom can get more light. A week with lots of activity from my side, from the Gorilla's side, not so much. She stays behind and I can't find any other reason than genetics/seed quality. She is in exactly the same conditions as the other girls. I'm letting her do her thing. She will give some weed, well see how much. Maybe she is a late-bloomer. She does look lush and healthy so we do not understand but are learning. I put in the scrog net since her roommates need it and lowered the lights and started giving more flowering feed. The light is still awesome, the amount it puts out. We are gonna see what happens coming weeks with this strain. So far I am a bit disappointed and didn't expect this from this strain. We will never know if it was the age of the seeds or something else. What I do know is, it was the last time I use a third party seedbank, it is apparently too hard to keep fresh stock with too many strains. Until breeders put a production date o the packaging. Isn't it time someone said that? Cause lets keep it real, we are talking seeds that in any other case would have a cost of production of fractions of cents per seed. We pay what? 3 to 5 to maybe even 20 dollars a seed for an exceptional strain? Is it then too much too ask to put a friggin expiry date on the package? Or store them cooled? The breeder that does that and arranges a deal with third-parties that overstock can be sent back, packaging recycled, in exchange for fresh stock. Like any other fresh trade. For an industry making what, a billion worldwide, it is remarkable how many are still in the stoner with a garage / 80's trailer park, backwater funfair warranty, kinda customer service. Me: i grow organic weed for 30 years, these seeds were old Seed dealer: Yes but you failed to do a raindance on the rising moon, no refund. Me: but its for cannabis? Weed industry: Yes why we charged you double! Me: wow no germination after paying 20 bucks for seeds? Industry: They are all stoners, they won't notice.... Me: but this bong is made from toxic plastics? Headshop: yeas but it has this crumbling image of a leaf, 20 dollar! Can they get their shit together? For god's sake, I've seen crack dealers with better PR and customer care. Someone do sumtin, take us out of the car boot era please?

Whorled Phyllotaxy is the arrangement of leaves on a plant stem, three in this case. I never noted it until the buds started to form in threes on the stem instead of twos on just opposite sides. Plant also has 11 finger leafs that are ginormous I hack them off every other day. bud sides are forming well faster than I expected HPS in veg was a good option to keep the plant short and bushy.

Hello Growmies, I'm thrilled to update you on the plant's progress! In the last week, she has beautifully filled out the scrog. Just yesterday, I flipped her into the flowering stage. This means I'll slowly increase her feeding, although I don't plan to go too heavy on the nutrients since she seems to prefer a lighter touch. She's quite particular about her nutrients, requiring me to change the reservoir every five days. If I delay, she shows signs of distress on her leaves, but these issues resolve immediately after I refresh the reservoir. While she's stretching in the preflower stage, I'll continue to guide her growth into the empty areas of the scrog screen.
